• Karen (5/5): A bit disappointed z - Lodge was beautifully appointed. Expensive for basic accommodation. No hot water for shower. Milk given was sour. No dishcloth to do the dishes. No braaigrid.
• Tisha (9/5): Happy with this property - We got a small chalet - we had animals around us. The garden in the property is sooo clean & beautiful, i loved it. Dinner was excellent. They really paid attention to my husband dietary restrictions. It was quite private as well so it was a pleasant experience. All was good. Nothing to complain

• cristiano (5/5): European cost in Namibian dollars. - The common areas are excellent, clean and cosy. The accommodation was not properly cleaned! It was full of flies and it is easily noticeable the lack tidiness and maintenance. The fixed menu is not a such a good idea... Prices are also too high specially for the breakfast.

• Brigitte (10/5): Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt - Super nettes Personal. Tolle Fahrrad Tour die Tiere ohne das schützende Auto zu erleben ist schon eine andere Hausnummer. Das Essen war Spitzenklasse. Einfach ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. 3 Tage ist optimal. Teilweise schlechte internetverbindung aber man ist schließlich irgendwo im nirgendwo da muss man das in Kauf nehmen.

• anne (8/5): - Breakfast was very good . It was a self service buffet and as such was the largest meal available at this lodge. The swimming pool provided a haven from the heat during the day. There were various activities available during the day. I opted for the rolling arm massage which was perfectly relaxing. The comfort in the family chalet needs a redesign as aircon is only available in the master bedroom so those in the other room had to endure a very hot night. There are no common areas in the chalet where you can comfortably sit .

• Margaret (10/5): Fantastic stop either for a few days relaxation or en route to Etosha - Absolutely beautiful location and setting. We had an elegant room overlooking one of the dams. We did the morning rhino game drive/tracking and saw a variety of buck, jackal, bat earred foxes as well as great rhino sitings. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. Alot of thought has gone into making it a high end experience. The only criticism was the amount of time the lunch order took but really can’t complain because we enjoyed the view and the various birds and various buck grazing near the pool and restaurant

The room smelled like cigarettes even though it's a non-smoking room. The bathroom, on the other hand, is problematic. Not only was there no door, but the ceiling was shared with the bedroom (i.e., the wall doesn't go all the way up). So you will hear and smell everything that is going on in the toilet. Not very pleasant.

• Francois (10/5): Great family-type lodge experience at a very good value for money. Make sure to experience the dinner - Lovely lodge, well decorated in a rustique style. Staff was great, food was the best we had in Namibia and spa treatment on the plus side. Family chalet 1 is a bit dark and does not get the same view on the lake as the other units.
• Nina (8/5): Perfect End to Our Trip - We stayed here for the final leg of our trip, and it was a fantastic way to wrap things up. On our first night, we went on a night safari and were incredibly lucky to spot seven (!!) white rhinos, along with many other animals — truly unforgettable. The next day, we did a rhino tracking experience in daylight, and our guide went above and beyond on both safaris to make sure we had the best experience possible. It's also very close to the Cheetah Conservation Fund, making it a great base for anyone wanting to visit this organization. The food was lovely, the lodgings were comfortable, and I treated myself to a full body massage at the spa — it was everything I hoped for and incredibly relaxing.

La colazione non includeva il cappuccino che abbiamo dovuto pagare a parte nonostante giá la colazione a buffet avesse un costo importante e non fosse incluso mentre per servizi di massaggio e giro a cavallo se non si prenota prima non c’è abbastanza disponibilità. Il posto ha comunque molte potenziali! Occhio che le tasse sono sempre escluse dai prezzi che vedete e sono piuttosto alte

If I had to do it again, I would spend 1 or 2 more nights to enjoy the private reserve a little more. In addition to the wildlife, the views are really nice, red sand, mountains, Waterberg in the distance... Nice breakfast and restaurant in the evening. Staff was really firendly and helpful, as almost everywhere in Namibia, thank you ! The morning game is a must do ! nothing

We self catered for breakfast but dined at the lodge in the evenings - friendly staff and great restaurant. We saw so much wild life from our acc plus during a booked sundowner . Our guide was very knowledgeable . We would highly recommend Otjiwa Safari Lodge / The Nest . Nothing , all was perfect. We were sorry to leave !!
• Amanda (9/5): A Surprise, better than expected! - This was planned to be a stop over night before getting to the airport to return back home so we booked something that looked nice but didn't expect too much as we only stayed 1 night. But this place vas the perfect place. They had so many different varied activities to book in and the food was great. We could easily have stayed longer! We managed to book hang by the pool, book in some massage and pedis at the spa and then in the morning after breakfast go for a course back riding tour before heading to the airport! We stayed in a family cabin so it was bigger than what we needed for that short stay. Staff was friendly and a plus was that a lot of the food, greens was locally grown. One waitress was a little short/moody but we all can have bad days so would not put too much though into that as everyone else was so friendly!

• Chris (8/5): Overall very good. Loved the animals. - Location of the hotel was very convenient and we loved the animals and birds that were roaming around the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were very friendly. Accessibility for those with limited mobility was good as everything was on one level and there was ramp access to the main building. The set dinner menu on one evening was very restricted and didn't suit all members of our group. The family rooms are located quite far from the main building and as a result we had to use the car to transfer our guests with limited mobility for meals in the evening, when it was dark and visibility was restricted. The family rooms would benefit from having a lounge area to relax in and additional plug sockets in the bedrooms (there were none).

Great guide William with Rhino tracking, wonderful restaurant location For us it didn’t become a problem, but two sockets didn’t work so n the room and the Wi-Fi also doesn’t work in the rooms, only on the main house.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Leider enttäuschend - Dies war die enttäuschendste Unterkunft auf unserer dreiwöchigen Namibia-Reise. Zwar kamen wir spät an, aber man hätte uns schon noch fragen können ob wir noch am Game Drive teilnehmen wollen. Das Zimmer war schmutzig und am Moskito-Nest befand sich eine grosse Anzahl an Moskitos. Es musste erst einmal gesprüht werden. Beim Dinner gab es nur ein Menu und man zeigte keine Flexibilität. Für einen trockenen Salat sollten wir schliesslich den vollen Preis bezahlen. Leider waren auch zwei grosse Reisegruppen anwesend, die eine unwillkommene Stimmung hinterliessen. Bei Frühstück sollte man für einen Cappuccino extra bezahlen. Dafür gab es die Stimmung wieder kostenlos. Nichts wie weg, dachten wir uns. Wir kommen nicht wieder.
