La salle de bain et toilettes dans le dortoir à 6 n'est pas très facile. Par ailleurs, l'échelle des lits superposés n'est vraiment pas facile à monter car elles sont très hautes. Dommage que les parties communes étaient fermées à ce moment là...

• Elea (9/5): Gutes Hostel, aber ohne Ausflüge - Bequeme Betten, gutes Frühstück und ein super Aufenthaltsraum zum Chillen. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und man hatte Platz, um sein Essen aufzubewahren. Zur Innenstadt geht es an der Straße entlang für 10 Minuten. Leider gab es keine organisierten Ausflüge, so wie auf der Webseite angepriesen. Das war für mich sehr enttäuschend, da ich meine Zeit damit eingeplant hatte. Es gibt zwar eine WhatsApp Gruppe, um theoretische Ausflüge zu besprechen, jedoch word diese nicht gepflegt, bzw genutzt.

The bathrooms were cleaned, they cleaned it everyday. They have shampooing/conditionner and body soap. The location was good because it is close to everything but not too crowded. The staff was nice, one of the girls recommended me Banff adventures to book my Heli tour and it was amazing! It would be nice to have someone taking you to a quick hostel tour, specially for the room because i got there and the first beds were full so i didn’t know where to go.
• Gillian (6/5): Decent hostel. Needs updates but good location - The location is great, on the main strip. There is a front desk staffed with decent hours. There is a bar in the lobby which is convenient. The facilities are dated and should be upgraded considering the amount of rooms, the rates etc. Replacing old and worn out toilets, sinks, faucets, and tubs seems reasonable. The tub in the dorm didn't drain well and was gross. The shared kitchen fridge was unclean. The doors and handles were greasy/crusty. Didn't seem like anyone was cleaning them. There was also barely any fridge or freezer room. These were also dates, old and grimey. The parking challenging to find around location. This hostel would be so much better if whomever owns it put some profit into upgrades of appliances, fixtures and general facilities.

• Stephanie (8/5): Pleasantly Surprised - From the minute I arrived, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. The washrooms were very clean and the beds were surprisingly comfortable ( for a bunk bed). They had a free breakfast (which I didn't know was included). Which had a variety for every person's diet needs. I had booked a room for 10 female only and to my surprise I ended up in a coed room for 6. But l decided to just go with it and the young men were extremely respectful.

• Tal (7/5): - מיקום מעולה במרכז העיירה. ארוחת בוקר טובה מאוד. הצוות נחמד מאוד. מיטות נוחות. יש חנייה מתחת להוסטל. הבעיה העיקרית הייתה איכות השינה. בחדר 303 בלתי אפשרי לישון שינה רציפה. יש בתוך החדר עוד 2 חדרים קטנים, ככה שיש הרבה דלתות, והן עם סגירה חזקה ורועשת מאוד. אנשים במהלך כל הלילה נכנסים ויוצאים, ודלתות לא מפסיקות להטרק. גם נראה היה שיש בחדר אנשים שבאו לשהייה ארוכה, או עובדים שלנים בו. זה היה לא נוח בכלל, הם השתלטו עם החפצים שלהם על כל החדר, וזה מרגיש כאילו אתה ישן בתוך חדר פרטי של מישהו. הם גם לא גילו התחשבות בשאר האנשים בכלל. היה במהלך הלילה המון רעש ואורות. בנוסף, בכל חדר, יש חדרון אמבטיה אחד, שבו מקלחת אחת ותא שירותים אחד. שני המתקנים תפוסים כשמישהו בחדרון. זה גם לא נוח מבחינת מקלחות ארוכות או שהייה קצת ארוכה בשירותים, כי חדר שלם מחכה בחוץ.

Small but really well equipped kit - The staff were so friendly and helpful from tips on walks to helping me break my lock off my locker when I lost my key. Was in the heart of downtown, easy walk from trail and fairmont. Small but well equipped kitchen, great shower in my dorm. A light in my dorm bunk would have been great.

Shanisha was great to chat to at breakfast, and the free spread was delicious. Best nights sleep, 10/10 would recommend!

The location of the hostel in Banff is very convenient in a great walkable distance. The facilities were clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful with travel recommendations. I wish there were more bathrooms to use.

• Christopher (5/5): Fair stay at peak season for banff - Location was great and breakfast was good. Bathrooms were clean. Staff were mostly friendly and bar offered good happy hour deals. Bunk beds weren't the most comfortable and one of ours had gum stuck to the bottom of the top bunk. Certain common areas weren't the cleanest. Lack of parking wasnt communicated well. Bar hours were confusing.

• Jaqueline (8/5): Good - I liked that this hostal offers breakfast and is in a good location. Also, they save your stuff until your check in at no extra cost. I didn’t like the kitchen is closed early in the morning, so if you need something from there you better save it in a small fridge by the entrance, but it’s so full.
• Mary Joy (3/5): Upon enter of the premises, it was unpleasant since they are having so much noise... - I liked free the breakfast and time flexibility. The Cancellation fee even I cancelled within the 12 hours prior to check-in.
• Sahil (2/5): Horrible Experience - Do not recommend - We stayed at this hostel for three nights. The location was pretty good and highly walkable from the town. There was also plenty of parking around and it felt like a pretty safe neighborhood. This is one of the worst hostels we have stayed at. The first night we were here, there was extremely loud music till 1.30AM with bass literally rocking the windows. Apparently, someone from the staff was moving out of town and there was a huge party at the cost of comfort of the guests. Secondly, somehow their main electricity switch keeps turning off due to excessive load at night, which means it's totally possible that there will be no fan, outlet or lights working in the middle of the night with no one to complain. Two out of three nights we had to face this and had a horrible experience. Lastly, the bathroom maintenance was horrible. We were out of body wash and toilet papers for most part of our stay despite regularly bringing this up to the staff. Bathrooms are one of the most outdated/broken ones we have encountered before. To add cherry to the cake, my spouse and I were given separate rooms, which is understandable if there are a lot of bookings. But after our first night at the hostel, we saw there were empty beds in both of our rooms when people checked out. Despite this the staff did not accommodate our request to keep us in one room. Do not recommend at all. Horrible experience overall.
