- MrsBabaika (9/5): - Очень тихий уютный отель, в котором вообще не пересекаешься с другими постояльцами, мы только по косвенным признакам понимали, что есть и другие гости) Огромный аутентичный номер с лучшим видом на всём острове, отличная качественная уборка, персонал всегда на связи. В некоторых отзывах писали, что мебель немного подустала, это правда так, но это вообще не напрягает, скорее придает атмосфере антикварности. Удивительно вкусно готовят в ресторане при отеле, от которого обычно ничего не ждешь. Мы ужинали в разных ресторанах на острове, в том числе сильнее более дорогих, и все равно в Blue Ginger самый вкусный Пад Тай. Очень сложный подъем до отеля, увы. Да, есть бесплатный трансфер до двух пляжей туда и обратно, это супер-здорово, но если вы любите ходить пешком (а мы с мужем как раз из таких), то придется пострадать. С ребенком или в слабой физической форме не заберетесь.

The villa was spacious and comfortable with the most amazing view. The staff were friendly and so helpful. The car service was invaluable and so efficient. The villa was lacking a toaster and it took us a while to figure out how to turn all the lights on and off!

- Danae (10/5): Schönste Unterkunft auf Koh samui - Alles war perfekt und genau wie auf den Fotos. Ein Shuttle fährt dich kostenlos den Berg runter zur Straße und von dort aus kann man zum nächsten Strand. Die Villen sind sehr groß, modern, sauber und man sieht die ganze Bucht. Die Pools sind auch groß und privat auf der Terrasse. Nichts!

- Ingrid (10/5): A mountain treasure - Absolutely beautiful location up on the mountain, views a plus! staff were, warm friendly and very professional. The food was delicious and a large menu to choose from. Our drivers (hotel shuttle) up and down the mountain were always on time. I enjoyed being a little secluded. This location is amazing but if you like to be walking distance from the hussle and bussel maybe not for you.

- Tim (1/5): Komplett schlechte Erfahrung mit Doppelbuchung unseres Zimmer ohne Geld zurück. - Blick über die Bucht Kein Storno möglich, obwohl wir 30 min nach Ankunft die Unterkunft wieder verlassen haben und um Kostenfreie Storno angefragt haben. Wir haben dann die erste Nacht in Strandnähe übernachtet. Als wir am nächsten Tag wieder zurück wollten, weil die Insel ausgebucht war, war unser Zimmer neu vermietet obwohl keine Antwort auf unsere Anfrage erhalten hatten. So standen wir erstmal mit nichts in der Hand da. Bis heute nicht einmal Teilrückzahlung bekommen. Es wird nur auf Standard procedure hingewiesen. Frech einfach, da wir trotz bezahlter Buchung nicht zurück kommen konnten! Angebot war dann dass wir 3 Tage später nach ursprünglicher Buchung kommen können und die Tage hinten dran hängen. Das geht natürlich schlecht wenn der Urlaub durchgeplant ist. Einfach ohne Rücksprache neu vermieten und kein Geld zurück zahlen ist frech. Grund für uns war die Lage die sehr weit oben auf einem steile Hang liegt wo nur die eigenen Fahrer hinfahren. Man ist komplett von diesen abhängig und abgeschnitten von spontanen Unternehmungen. Auch wenn der Transport mit den Fahrern hoch und runter gut geklappt hat. Wer mal spontan auf eigene Faust losziehen will, ist hier falsch. Wir mit Kleinkind haben uns das komplett anders vorgestellt.
- virginie (10/5): Magnifique séjour ! - La vue a coupé le souffle ! Un bonheur de se lever le matin avec cette vue magnifique! Villa très spacieuse et propre ! La piscine à débordement et le jacuzzi avec vue également , un pur bonheur . Le personnel très accueillant et disponible à tout moment , c était parfait ! Merci au chauffeur pour les allers retours à la plage . Nous avons mangé une fois au restaurant de l hôtel très bon et copieux! Je recommande Un petit rafraîchissement de la villa ne ferait qu’embellir le lieu

The apartment/villa has everything you could want. Big kitchen and living area. Great outside dining. The pool is fantastic as you swim on the side of the hill overlooking Lamai. Then to add to that the food from the restaurant is excellent.

- Janssen (9/5): Heerlijk rustig. - We hebben genoten van de rust in het hotel. De ligging is geweldig. Je zit ver uit het centrum en hebt dus altijd een Grab of taxi nodig. Maar dat is inherent als je zoals wij de rust zoekt. De kamers zijn luxe ingericht met een zeer goed bed en luxe douche. Gewoon een aanrader. Nogmaals onze dank aan Nana die alles super geregeld heeft.
- TIEJUN (8/5): - 整体房间很大，景色很好。三居室别墅完美结合西方现代建筑和泰国特色。泳池、凉亭、观星沙发应有尽有 交通不太便利，虽然酒店提供接驳车去周边Coral Cave & Crystal Beach。但是酒店出门有一个非常陡的坡道（大约800m），这导致步行出行难度非常大。而且周边GRAB司机都不肯接单。只能依靠酒店自有车辆做CAB。

- Eliot (9/5): A beautiful villa and great place to enjoy Samui. - The place was amazing and well cared for. The view was spectacular. There wasn’t very much privacy from the villa next door. The bed pillows were a bit worse for wear. These were only very minor problems.
- Alan (8/5): Pleasantly surprised - Beautiful place, big clean room, nice bed, Ana ing view like having your view point with a massive swimming pool. The swimming pool was amazing both the room and swimming pool over looking the ocean. Hotel is a bit outdated it could benefit from some renovation but it’s not that bad. Also have a bike delivered to the hotel it will make your life easier. Location bit hard to get to you must have a car or bike but again you need a bike everywhere in Thailand.

The restaurant ( Blue Ginger) was excellent. As the hotel is located on a steep hill (which provided some lovely views) a shuttle service was offered by Sandalwood, which was most helpful.

- Maisy (8/5): Beautiful views but lacking privacy - The views from the villa are beautiful and you get a real traditional Thai feel from the rooms. The staff were all very polite and welcoming and they provide a great private shuttle service down the hill and to the nearest beaches due to the resort being up a very steep hill which a lot of taxis or tours won't go up! The restaurant food was nice and reasonably priced. We stayed in the one bedroom grand pool villa. What let down our stay was the fact that above your "villa" there is a separate room with guests. This means the whole of the pool area is completely overlooked by their balcony so you get no privacy. We also had a lot of noise from above from them walking around and the sound of chairs being moved. This doesn't make it feel like you are in a villa for this reason

The hill location isnt a road some local drivers want to take so consider using the hotel drivers as much as possible

- Susanne (8/5): Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt - Wir hatten eine schöne Villa mit einem wahnsinnig tollen Blick auf Coral Cove. Es hat uns nichts gefehlt, und unsere Wünsche wurden immer unmittelbar erfüllt. Aufgrund der hohen Lage am Berg ist man auf die Fahrer der Unterkunft angewiesen, um zu Restaurants anstrengende oder in die Ortschaften zu kommen. Fahrten werden zu einem vernünftigen Preis angeboten und stehen innerhalb kürzester Zeit zur Verfügung, aber man ist eben nicht zu flexibel.

- Dan (9/5): - The owner and staff were exceptional, and the villas were exactly as advertised. The on-site restaurant was excellent. The owner offered thoughtful tour recommendations and, although they can arrange everything for you, we never felt any pressure to use their services. We did choose to do so and were not disappointed. He shared invaluable local knowledge and ensured the tour operator took great care of us—which they absolutely did. Some Grab drivers and shuttles were reluctant to go up the hill, but the villa staff were excellent about sending a shuttle down until 5:00 pm. After that, it’s best to clearly confirm that the driver is willing to go all the way up to the resort. Most drivers were very familiar with the location, and we never had any trouble finding a ride that took us right to the door.

- Blend (10/5): Very satisfied to be honest - I personally loved the professional work of the workers at this hotel. Very kind, very reliable, professional and helpful in every aspect! I also read the reviews and I can't agree with the bad reviews. People write it's a bad way up. It's steep but fast to reach and until now 1 out of 10 drivers couldn't accept my grab drive up there so no problems actually. Just book another one. Prices are also very very very ok in my opinion for what you get here. Also it's not too old like people claim. Of course not the newest renovation but they keep it in a very good shape. All in one there is nothing to complain about the price you pay compared to the accommodation you get . It's still very good in my opinion Nothing at the end !!!

- Monica (10/5): De 10 👌 - Todo...la villa es espectacular, todo estaba súper limpio...muy amplia con todo lujo de detalles...el personal muy amable...tienen un servicio de wassap por el que te comunicas con ellos y te resuelven todas las dudas que tengas....desde pedir comida en la villa, pedir un taxi, servicio de lavandería...etc, etc. La piscina muy limpia y las vistas preciosas. Desde la villa tienes servicio gratis a 2 de las playas mas bonitas...coral cove y cristal beach!!! Esta en lo alto de una colina...eso nos fue un poco incómodo a la hora de decidir alquilar motos por si no subían ya que éramos 2 por moto... pero con la aplicación Grab y con los taxis ningún problema....
- David (5/5): Tolle Aussicht, aber in allen anderen Punkten eine große Enttäuschung. - Die Aussicht war wirklich schön und der Pool wurde täglich mit Frischwasser gefüllt – das war sehr positiv. Die Unterkunft ist absolut in die Jahre gekommen. Trotz guter Aussicht ist die Lage schlecht – man ist komplett auf den teuren Shuttle-Service angewiesen. Schiebetüren haben keine Moskitotüren, entweder offen mit Mücken oder geschlossen mit Spalt. Durchgehender Abflussgeruch in den Bädern, Flecken in Bettdecken, kaputte Möbel auf der Terrasse. Die Klimaanlage im zweiten Schlafzimmer tropfte und roch unangenehm. Essen im Restaurant überteuert und qualitativ schwankend. Dass Mitarbeiter sogar WhatsApp-Statusmeldungen der Gäste kontrollieren, hat dem Aufenthalt die Krone aufgesetzt.

- Maria (7/5): Spectacular views in a lovely apartment but beware of the hill and the added costs! - Lovely large 2 bedroomed apartment, with spectacular views! Great to have a private pool as well. Property was up a very, very steep hill, and the only way to get anywhere was by the villas transport, which you have to book and pay for, or by taxi, but be warned lots of taxis will not take you up the hill as it is too steep. The property provides free service up and down the hill to the local beaches (which are lovely) but to the local town or going to eat somewhere the property charges you, minimum approx £10 each way.
