• Diyor (4/5): - building in general is very old. hotel does not provide with dental kits even though it is so called "a 4 star hotel". hair dryer was not working. when I asked to bring iron to the room, the iron that was brought to me was full of soot. matresses are awful, back pains are guaranteed
• aamira717 (2/5): 3 stars hotel claimed to be 4 star hotel - This is a 3 star hotel claimed to be a 4 star hotels. No tub, and hair dryer is not working. The staff are generally good, but there is an old man, i do not know what exactly his job seen frequently in corridor of the rooms without obvious reason and make clients feel uncomfortable. A man in the reception who is speaking Arabic has poor English, and many considered him bad.
• 807amerj (2/5): İ have been in much better hotels with lower price. - The place of the hotel is very good, but it is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. Many things in the room are not working such as the shower. Meant of the staff are very nice and excellent but the one who speaks Arabic is more than terrible. The breakfast is at 7.30 which is not perfect.

Breakfast buffet few items good over and when we went their and asked them to replenish they said it over and can't do anything about it. I saw one waiter putting the leftover (full peices) from the guests place back in the buffet.

• 893nikil (8/5): Very Helpful and Kind Reception Staff - Thank you to the reception staff for all the help they gave to me and the kind and courteous way they took care of all my requests. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a large window that could be opened. No view unfortunately. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large, comfortable and clean. The shower pressure was pleasantly very strong. We had lots of big white soft towels. Unfortunately there was no foot towel. They provided soap and shower gel. Located more or less 1 kilometer from central Taxim Square.
• ghizlane2023 (2/5): Not welcoming experience, I don’t recommend - I don’t recommend this hotel, the stuff is not welcoming, they don’t even smile to your face or respond to your Hi. Cleanliness level is very low, they leave trush in the bins in the room, the floor they don’t wipe it. We are 2 and they give us only 1 towel. The good experience is also so poor nothing special.

• raneshj (6/5): Simply average - Only good thing is the close proximity to Taksim SQ. There are many hotels nearer to this as well. Rooms were outdated and smelly. Even the towels needs to be changed as they were worn off. Rude receptionist and most of others are rude as well. Free breakfast was terrible and the dude behind the counted smash food on to the plate and gives us weather we like the items or not. Only once you can serve and the food was tasteless. Good for a overnight stay since its walking distance to the square.

Toilet and shower were also dirty. I cannot believe that this is a 4 stars hotel! The stuff close/ disconnect the AC/ heater before the check out time to make you leave by 12:00 pm !! The noise of the street you can hear it from your room even if your window tightly closed ! So apart from the location the rest is poor

• 662milade (2/5): This hotel was terribly awful. - This hotel was terribly awful. hotel's room havn't minibar and airconditioner was out of action .The room did not have a button to clean the room. Room service was awful. Breakfast also included a pre-prepared daily plate with poor quality ingredients.
• Traveler233813 (2/5): Very very bad experience - We have many bad experiences with Hotel Taxim Express in Istanbul. The hotel is very dirty, with a lot of dust and a bad smell. The restaurant does not exist at all, in the corridor of the hotel entrance there are several tables. Breakfast is awful. A person stands at the beginning of the corridor, and from a cupboard gives guests a plate of very little and poor quality food. There is nothing but that dish, no coffee, no fruit, no fruit juices, no baked goods, no cakes, nothing .. The hotel resembles a stroller guesthouse.
• yasjoy (2/5): Don’t go - A very bad experience!! Went for with my family for a short trip in Istanbul. The breakfast awful and had to buy food from the nearby bakery every morning. The toilet is terrible and needs renovation. Staffs are not friendly at all! Such a bad experience and a bit far from Taxim square (30 minutes walking distance)
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing from the first minute it was a grief. The front desk was very mean. I have videos of his ugly behavior . I showed him Expedia confirmation number but he was screaming and saying that we don't work with Expedia for two years , I asked to talk to the management and when he called his manager his manager was also ugly and I could hear him on the phone screaming so he did not want to talk to me and hang up on the front desk guy. I asked them to give letter sating that they don't work with Expedia so I can get my money back but they refused. The only option was either I leave to find another hotel or I pay cash because they refused to take credit card. Since I was tiered and not familiar with area I had to pay cash and I had a receipt with video showing that I got charged twice , one by Expedia and another by the hotel. The room was not the room that I was chosen when I reserved instead they gave me a room with two twin bed! Bathroom was dirty. Breakfast was horrible and treatment were very very unprofessional by the service staff where there was only two. I did not eat because I could not trust that the food from it is look seems stored somewhere in the heat for days! Security zero. Anyone can come into the hotel without anyone asking question. I was very worried for may money where I had to carry what I had everywhere I go during these two unpleasant days that I stayed there. Expedia should not have listed this hotel . I called Expedia and selected option callback but!

Yarıdan az kalan ve yedeği çoktan biten tuvalet kağıdını oda görevlisi neden değiştirmez. Alez de kurumuş kan lekesi var, beyaz çarşaf altından gözüküyor. Bir Alez kaç paraki aylarca öyle kullanılsın. Manzaralı odaların manzarası iyi. Ulaşım rahat, dikkat ederlerse temizliğe gerisi güzel olur.

• PooryaKashani78 (2/5): Do not waste your money! - We have had a experience in this hotel; rooms aren’t clean at all; there’s no restaurant/ bar in this hotel; daily service is poor and customer service is awful; the hotel itself is old and smelly; internet connection is too weak. However, the only good point about Taxim Express Hotel is that it’s not too far from Taxim square (about fifteen minute walk). Anyway, we could have found better deals in Istanbul. Don’t waste your money on this hotel!

• Z36m (6/5): Average hotel - My husband and I were supposed to stay in this hotel for 3 days on November 2018. When we arrived at the hotel, they told us our room hadn't been ready , so they sent us to another hotel for one night. It was bothering . After one night ,we came back there and stayed for two days . It was clean . Breakfast was good. Staff couldn't speak English .

Temizlik banyo ve wc için iyi fakat oda için önceki müşterilerden kalan izleri görecek kadar kötüydü. Televizyon keyfi yapmak isteyenler içinde karıncalı izlemeyi sevenler tercih edebilir :)

• DimSpy (6/5): Average - The hotel is well situated on a busy avenue 10' walk from Taxim square. Although is considered cheap even with the turkish standards, is not really a 4* hotel. The fron-facing rooms are suffering from lack of noise isolation. Our room was not clean, the walls were smutty, one pillow was dirty and the free amenities (shampoo, showel gel) were not replenished during our stay. The breakfast was mediocre and the personell could barely speak a couple of english words. The only positive thing about this hotel is that the rooms are spacious with large windows which could be opened. And i appreciated the free bottle of water every day. Overall, i think this hotel could be a value for money choice if the management/owners put some effort to keep it clean, with quality breakfast and english speaking staff.

In another room the aircondition was not working and it had an awful smell because of smoking. The Deluxe room is not worth the money. It was not even clean. The staff was very rude to me and my wife, we were shouted at and laughed at because our complaints. The breakfast was OK, nothing to complain about. The Manager of the Hotel is kind too. He takes your complaining serious and give you a new room. In Front of him the staff is kind without hin very rude. The time in the hotel was awful and I can not recommend it at all!

Sadece otelin bulgular kısmında otoparkı oldugu yazmasına rağmen otoparkın olmadığını bu durumu hotels.com a bildirdiklerini ama daha duzeltilmedigini söylediler. • MS (6/5): One star too many - An OK hotel if you are just looking for a place to stay for a night or two. If you are looking for an extaordinary stay this is not the place for you. Good location just some 5 minutes walk from the Havabus (airport bus shuttle) end station. Walls in the room would need to be painted and there were some spider nets in the corners. The bathroom was newely renovated and in very good condition. The staff were patient and friendly when I had some trouble to pay because my creditcard didn't work.

• Augusto (4/5): Unusable internet / close to Congress Center - - There is no reliable internet. The wifi connection is terrible. It didn't work at all in many places in my room, like the table, and even in the spots it worked it was absurdly slow and unstable, even considering the router was just outside my room and I had a strong signal. Couldn't really do almost anything with it, which was terrible considering how much I needed a good internet connection to guide me in this unorganized country. There was no cable connection available (there was a plug in my room but it didn't work, meaning I couldn't use any kind of internet on my computer in the room's table). - There is no room service, at best you can order food to be delivered at the hotel for you. But considering the wifi is not good enough to do that by yourself, you must ask in the reception, and they have a really hard time to understand more advanced english and more than once didn't order exactly what I asked. - Prior to my stay I tried to contact the hotel, but they didn't answer my emails trying to confirm my reservation. So a week before my trip I called the hotel, and they told me it had been canceled. No excuses, no apologies, as if that was natural. I had made the reservation using Hotels.com and so I called them and they remade the reservation. I'm not sure whose fault it was (the hotel or Hotels.com), as one blamed the other, but I won't use neither of those anymore. Had I not called I would potentially arrive in Istanbul late at night with no place to stay.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Alles in allem ist das Hotel in Ordnung. Die Zimmer sind wie man es von einem Hotel der Mittelklasse gewohnt ist ausreichend groß. Die Sauberkeit war ausgezeichnet. Jedoch hat sich unser Zimmer über den Tag hin extrem aufgeheizt und die Klimaanlage hat nicht richtig gekühlt und das bei einer Außentemperatur von maximal 22 Grad. Ich würde das Hotel im Sommer daher nicht empfehlen. Die Lage ist gut (ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg von der Metro Station "Taksim" entfernt). Das heißt man kann alles schnell erreichen (in Istanbul heißt das ca. 30-45 Minuten).

Jag anlände till Istanbul vid midnatt och nattpersonalen vid incheckningen (en yngre ille), hade inte ens koll vilket rum låg på vilken sida av byggnaden. Tänk kl.01.20 fick jag byta rum (10 minuter efter ankomst till hotellet). - Jag hade betalat via Expedia för frukosten också, men fick inte äta frukost. De ville att jag skulle betala för det (detta var med dagpersonalen en medelåldersherre). När jag bad om kvitto angående frukosten om jag skulle betala en extra gång, så blev det panik hos dem. Så jag struntade i att äta frukost. - Jag både skrev på Expedias sida om önskemål i samband med bokningen och framförde muntligt om senar utcheckning då mitt flyg skulle åka senare på kvällen. Men inte fick man det. När jag frågade samma person som ville att jag skulle betala extra för frukosten, först sa han att det är fullt på hotellet om att det inte gick att checka ut senare, men när jag sa att jag kan betala då sa samma medelåldersherre att det gick bra om jag betalar 15 Euro extra. 5 gånger VARNING: De lurar en på pengar på detta hotell -
