Guest Reviews
- Johanna (10/5): - Great customer service and friendly staff
- Johanna (10/5): - Great service and staff. Food was excellent
- Robert (10/5): - The staff was prefect.
- Bruce (6/5): - The staff was attentive and outstanding the property lacked the luxury discription
- R (10/5): Perfect stay for perfect price - Perfect stay if you have an early flight. They drop you to the airport for free & its only 10 minutes from old town. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. Great price and youll be amazed what you get for your money
- Jaroonjet (10/5): - The hotel is so closed to the shopping mall with a walking distance. It has a food court with many local food options. The hotel also offers a ride to the airport without extra charge. The environment is amazing. There was a natural cicada sound the whole time even though it’s located in the city.
- Paul (10/5): - Greated at the airport for safe transport to the property. Both gentleman very helpful. I was sleeping within 30 min of landing. Great launch for seeing the North of Thailand. A tip of the hat to you kind Sirs.
- markre555 (10/5): Lovely Quiet Oasis Near Airport - A peaceful oasis in the airport district. This hotel is a great find. 5 minutes from airport and next to Central Mall. Large clean room and beautiful pool. Most of all great staff. Mr Yod and his staff scheduled a last minute airport shuttle and gave us directions to amenities in the area. Tried the restaurant for dinner and it was great. Will stay again.
- Myron (10/5): - It’s close to the Chiang Mai airport and a large shopping mall. The front desk people were also very pleasant.
- KTI (10/5): Safe to book - Huge room, excellent location, really friendly and helpful staff.
- Christie (10/5): - Loved our stay, the property was so hopeful and found us a driver to the temples in Chiang Rai when our driver didn’t show. Very clean and beautiful property and close to the airport with shuttle is nice.
- HYUNGBOK (8/5): - 가족여행에 넓은공간이 유용했음
- Yoshiyuki (10/5): - 空港至近、ショッピングセンター隣接で、清潔快適な部屋。
- Lesley (10/5): - This is a great hotel. It’s was convenient from the airport and the hotel offers transportation from the airport.
- Weena (8/5): - Great service
- Heike (10/5): - What a lovely place to stay with spacious rooms, great pool area and front desk staff that were super helpful. Only one suggestion, have more options for breakfast package offerings. Including bottomless coffee and make it clear when made to order eggs are an extra charge.
- Kyle (10/5): - Good location right next to the airport for our early flight. The staff were amazing and helped us with transportation and made sure we got food before our flight! Our room was also really clean and spacious.
- Jane (10/5): - The communications with this hotel were exceptional! They were quick to keep me posted on issues at airport, and went above and beyond to pick us up late in the evening and check us in. The staff members were wonderful, and the free breakfast was delightful. It is unfortunate that we were heading out the next day since the pool and surrounding areas were inviting. This is a great hotel in close proximity to Chiang Mai International Airport. I would not hesitate to make reservations here again! Thumbs up!
- Jaimie (10/5): - The staff here are amazing! Very nice and helpful! A we had a comfortable stay, the beds were firm, but still good.
A lot of greenery, so more mosquitoes here.
I just want to say all of the staff are great!
- Brenda (8/5): - This was a clean, lovely property with a great breakfast! Only complaint was ability to regulate the A/C unit in the room during the night.
- Nawarat (10/5): - Wow Wow Wow!!! This hotel is underpriced!!! The service, the food, transportation, and the room are so amazing!!!! Especially, they have cats working for guest relations! The white one is the receptionist, the orange one is the restaurant manager, and the white&grey is the hotel manager! They are the most lovable cats in Thailand! I highly recommend to stay here! The room is huge! Nice and clean! 10/10/10!!!!
- reitravels (2/5): Big, spacious but run down and spooky......the only selling point is next to a shopping mall and airport. - Due the the recent flood in central ChiangMai, we have no choice but to cancel city hotel booking and have VC Suanpaark for the location is very near airport. We all are excited to see such a lushy green resort chalet setting as we get into the premises. We are family of 10. 4 families have the apartment type and i got the hotel twin room. There is a air bit of walking from the reception to our rooms.
The corridors are quite dim at night, especially with the heavy shades over the bulbs.
The rooms are big and spacious. Kitchenette is fully equipped but you wont want to use the oven. Its dirty and rusty.
And things happened once we enter into our respective rooms.
1 family got to change 5 times for a good room before they get settled in at 2 am. Thanks to the leaking aircon. The TVs are not working with their remote control. We tried to whatsapp the reception with the QR code given, but there is no reply.
We are lucky one with a working TV after a few attempts by changing batteries. However, TV switched off by itself not once but twice in our 2 nights stay. One member heard something fall off from the ceiling, but actually there was nothing. Another one felt moving shadows in his room. We all shared our spooky stories after our 2nd night at the breakfast table. Breakfast time 7am, but there is no other guests except the 10 of us. Only at 9am, we saw a couple of people coming into take away their breakfast.
And its seem that there are very little people stayed here.
Breakfast not too bad. I would feel that the people working in the breakfast counter do their best already.
There are a lot of mosquitoes around with stagnant water puddles all over and in flower pots.
However, the pool is clean. but did not see anyone use it.
We were wonder how did the score 9.2 come about given the lack of facilities and support from the staff when the guest are in need.
Last but not least, the shopping mall next door is just a couple of minutes walk away and the free shuttle to airport is something that we appreciated. That's about it .
- KEISUKE (10/5): - チェックアウト後に空港まで送迎して頂いた。
- KEISUKE (10/5): - 空港まで送迎して頂いた。
- Kristin (10/5): - Great communication! They really looked out for my niece who was traveling. She said staff was wonderful, property beautiful!
- Cynthia L (10/5): Great place to stay - This is a great place to stay, large room, clean, well taken care of, beautiful outdoor area. Trees, pool, reading room and some man made caves to explore. With a few nice cats on the grounds. And the staff was very nice. Breakfast is order from a menu and is OK. I could have stayed here a long time. Only draw back for me was the hard bed. Some people like them but I don’t. Was sad to leave this place. Oh and there’s a nice mall just steps away but can’t really hear it from the Hotel/apartments.
- Edwin (6/5): - Great property - will definitely use again
- Jun (8/5): - Friendly staff
- Nicholas (10/5): - All of the staff were super helpful and so nice.
- SUTTICHAI (10/5): Chiangmai Hidden Gem that I will always remember. - unexpected Hidden Gem of Chiangmai, first Class Ideas and Unique Rooms set up, Nice and Quiet for anyone who love a sanctuary Hommy. TOO BAD, that it doesn't continue the Hydroponic Farm as they planed, for any reason.. wish them continue the Growth to the high potential market with out losing the unique set up and Memorable Achitectural Design.
- Nipon (10/5): - Hotel itself is very beautiful and just a few blocks from the Airport
- Jazmin (10/5): - Very friendly staff and beautiful landscape.
- Justin (10/5): - Great little property, conveniently located near the airport and next to the mall - but you wouldn’t know it on site, it’s quiet and seems very secluded. Beautiful, spacious rooms. Amazing staff, very attentive, highly recommend.
- alan (10/5): - Really beautiful facility, close to everything you'd want to see in Chiang Mai.
- Runar (10/5): A hidden perle! Don't miss this one. - An oasis in classic Thai architecture, large open spaces, nice pool, spacious rooms - hidden only 10 minutes from Airport, Old City, Shopping Mall, everything.
Absolutely brilliant place; really.
Still; the best experience was probably the staff. Friendly and helpful way over and beyond the line of duty. I felt at home, with friends . . . not "staff". Very rare.
- Rick (10/5): - The grounds are beautiful . The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean.
- Kenneth (10/5): - Very helpful staff at checking in.
- Amanda (10/5): - Such a great place to relax and recharge.
Staff are super friendly and helpful
- blaine (10/5): - Great and attentive staff. Lovely place.
- Philip (10/5): - Rooms were large, clean and well air conditioned. The beds were on the firm side. Even had a cloths washer. Fantastic accommodations. Next to a major shopping mall with great places to eat.
- lst975 (2/5): worst service and lack of basic facility - There are many things that are 'red flags' about this hotel:
1. we were not notified that there is a loud band concert festival for more than a week starting on the 1st day we stayed. It was very loud and the festival ended around midnight everyday. We hardly could sleep due to this noise. After midnight around 2AM, there was always coughing sound of a man, we reported it to the lobby attendant but nothing was done to stop it.
2. there are many mosquitos at the premises due to many small buildings in the premises that are empty and looked like they have been abandoned for long time.
3. this property only has 30 rooms including the hotel room and apartments. This hotel should not be rated 4 stars due to lack of facilities such as basic hotel needs : no phone inside the room, dusty wooden folding doors, cracked side table, stained bed sheets and towels. The TV channels are blurry due to poor signal reception and it has very limited local channels in local language only. As for the facility, on agoda it stated that there is fitness center, sauna and massages, however, upon checking in, I was told that these facilities are not available in this hotel. For these lack of facilities, the hotel is not transparent about what is available at the hotel.
4. Breakfast is included, however, the breakfast choices are very limited. Be prepared to sit at the breakfast area and get bitten by flying mosquitos. Food are quite mediocre as well.
5. Upon checkout, I took many pictures as a proof that there are many things inside the room that needs improvement and I reported the stains to Pim the day I found out about the stains. However, on my checkout day, Pim was off and the lobby staff sent me a rude text via Line and said that I needed to get charged for the stained sheets and towel that were already stained in the beginning. She also accused us for not having housekeeping and that we must have broken something inside. I was so furious of being framed as I have travelled a lot and this is the first time that a hotel complained about not letting housekeeping in. We do not feel comfortable letting a stranger inside with the mediocre service and I do not trust this hotel staff to com inside the room when I have all my stuff inside; and I do not want my stuff be touched or lost during the stay. I believe customers have the right to choose whether to have housekeeping services or not. This hotel has the worst untrained staff who had the weird ideas about hotel service. When I asked for her name, she said: " why do you need to know my name?"
I tried to call via Line but she hung up a few times on me, saying that she did not know how to speak English, so I went to the lobby and approached her and she was quiet so I guess she was rude on the chat apps without wanting me to know her identity.
6. Cleanliness is worst - dusty room/door, lots of mildew in the shower area, crooked clothes hanger
7. We had to shorten our stay due to the noise and coughing sounds around 2AM and it happened every night so we could not have a proper sleep.
8. On the checkout day, there was hammer sound starting at 8AM and the noise kept going on for 2 hours . There was also no water at all. When I asked about the hammering sound, the lobby staff said there is nothing they can do because the technician was repairing something above our room. Can the hotel be more courteous? After all those things that happened, the hotel just needed one more thing to ruin my day prior to check out.
There are many other details that gave me red flags about this hotel, but the things mentioned above is to let other people know what type of hotel this is and our experiences during the stay. I do hope that this would help others to decide if they want to choose this hotel with lack of facilities and extremely poor service.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this premises at all, in fact, this hotel rating needs to be revised as it does not even deserve a 4 star rating due to its lacking facility and services. 2 star rating would be more appropriate for this hotel.
- tracy (10/5): - We really loved this place and wished we were staying longer. There were creative works of natural wood work and plants. It felt really welcoming and natural earth and great breakfast We would definitely recommend this place lov
- Chika (10/5): - Loved the property. Quiet. If you like nature, you would love the apartment. The staff were friendly and nice. They did not speak a lot of English but hey, it's Thailand and they communicated to the best of their ability. Loved the people. Loved our apartment.
- James (10/5): - An unexpected surprise for an airport hotel. We were only there one night, but wished we were there longer. Our large comfortable room was right off the pool. It was spotless and in very good condition. We didn’t have enough time to properly explore the property, but there were some intriguing cave like structures and what appeared to be a raised gallery. Breakfast was very nice. The front staff and porters were delightful. The airport transfer look less than five minutes.
- Jeffery (10/5): - I used the pool and sauna daily during my stay. Top notch. Thank you.
- Nathan (10/5): - Walkable to CNX. Amazing decor. Great pool. Fantastic restaurant and incredible staff. I’ll be back.
- Leticia (10/5): - Staff is very friendly and helpful.
- Jill (10/5): - Beautiful decor, lovely pool area, beautifully landscaped. Friendly staff. Would strongly recommend.
- PONGSAK (8/5): - Breakfast too limited selection
Room key only one per room make it inconvenient
- Taylor (10/5): - The stars are amazingly sweet and helpful. I wish their steam room was working but the pool was so relaxing and it was close to the mall and a convenience store. 7/11
- Choon Hong (8/5): - Spacious and clean. Walking distance to a shopping mall and within reach to old city with a Grab ride in 10 to 15 mins.
- Handa (8/5): - Beside airport and shopping mall, friendly english speaking staffs, free breakfast. Some facilities like suana not working, bathroom got mosquitoes and air con got lizard, clean room but facilities probably need to maintain a bit. I will still stay there for the convenience to the amenities.
- GLORIA (10/5): Delightful stay - The VC@Suanpaak has buildings set amidst lush, blooming gardens with paths curving through intriguing statues and other artwork, creating a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, even though it is only a block from a major shopping mall, and a five-minute drive to the airport. Our 2 bedroom- 2 bath apartment with an open living-dining room and two balconies was immaculate, well-furnished, and super spacious. Linens, towels, dishes, and other amenities were all good quality. The air conditioners installed in the ceilings appear to be later add-ons, but they worked, and the plumbing was first-rate. We did not use the pool and sauna.
Only the restaurant was a disappointment—but our welcoming fruit plate was fresh and delicious. The staff was outstanding—friendly, respectful, and helpful, giving us suggestions of where to go, calling for us what turned out to be the cleanest, most comfortable taxi we had in Thailand, and collecting our packed luggage at checkout and having it all loaded in the van when we returned three hours later for our trip to the airport.
- Aimee (10/5): - This place is a "plant lovers" dream! So much to explore and look at on the property and the rooms are very nice. Clean and comfortable with nice views of the pool. I will say the pool was quite cold in November so don't expect to want to stay in!
- Gwenda (10/5): - Traditional architecture with mod cons. Staff extremely helpful. Just a block away from airport but right next to shopping mall.
- Naveen (8/5): - The property is very nice and clean, except outside the rooms there were many lizards, which scared my wife.
- Coco (10/5): - So nice place to stay in Chiangmai! Will recommend for anyone.
- Elham (8/5): - Beautiful resortlike space. Very quiet and close to the airport, and a big mall nearby. Apartments are very spacious, a bit old but clean and well maintained.
The only issue was the salamanders on the hallway ceilings at night, and one of them managed to get into our room which was a bit uncomfortable as we couldn't find it and was making a noise all night long!
The breakfast was ok but not the best!
- Shelley (10/5): Comfy-comfy - This was a very comfortable hotel. We chose a suite and we were very happy with the space. Loved the bathtub! The pool was nice and breakfast was simple but good. This was a close walk to the Central mall & very convenient! They offer a free shuttle to airport as well!!
- nickonholidayss (10/5): A Perfect getaway for Chiang Mai family stay! - The Suanpaak Appartments have a perfect location close to the airport, and close to central big shopping mall.
We rented a huge appartment, it was very clean, had a nice pool and very friendly staff.
Nice dining area, stable wifi, good aircon, a laundry washer, big fridge. Would highly recommend for families.
- Gary (10/5): Great stay. - Great location. Staff were very friendly, understanding and helpful.
They arranged our elephant trip, which was no trouble at all.
- Eric (10/5): - Close to the airport, next to the big shopping mall.
Great location
- Marie Josee (10/5): Hidden gem - Hidden gem 5 minutes from airport, next door to major mall & only 30 minutes walk to old city. Spacious comfortable room. Very clean. All staff were very friendly & welcoming. Highly recommended.
- mjoe (10/5): Hidden gem next to airport! - Amazing place right next to airport, 2 minutes walk to major mall & only 25 minutes walk to Old City. Rooms are spacious & comfortable. Large bathroom with separate bathtub & standing shower. Large balcony. Beautiful gardens and pool area. All the premises beautifully decorated. Very generous with complimentary bottles of water.
Breakfast was delicious! Service excellent! The manager & all the staff were very friendly, welcoming & helpful. Highly recommended!
- Punya (10/5): - Nice place for family
- Matt (10/5): - Lovely hotel with a nice pool, steam and dry sauna! The property is very quiet and really close to the airport and shopping center. Would reccomend!
- Wai Keung (10/5): Good service. - Amazing. Very good service.
- SiuShan (10/5): Clean and quiet oasis - We were very pleasantly surprised with this oasis. Even though it is right beside the airport, you actually don't hear the planes. We have a 2 year old and we slept very well. Beds were comfy and rooms are very clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful in making sure we had a good stay. Totally recommend staying here! The big shopping mall next door has free kids play area on the top floor and a train that goes around. Our little one didn't loved the free ride on the train!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clea, comfortable, very spacious and well-appointed rooms. Pleasant grounds with good restaurant on the grounds. Breakfast basic and unchanging. Very handy to airport and a large, modern shopping mall. Rooms not very soundproof from rooms below. Airport noise not a problem.
- ShereenSham (10/5): Amazing Stay - This hotel is value for money. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was so spacious. It literally opposite central airport mall which is huge and eating anything possible is easy excess. They had transport transfer with a comfortable van and the journey from the airport was only 5min away. Staff are so friendly. We were greeted as we arrived. The hotel ambiance was amazing, their deco throughout the whole hotel compound is very interesting. It's a cave like with tree house all around and plenty of chilling spots everywhere. The pool looks so good but it was too cold to even swim in Dec. I recommend a fuss free stay here!
- MCHToronto (8/5): Rare Gem of Chiang Mai - My husband and I stayed here for 4 days. We had the place almost to ourselves because of low season. It’s exotically artsy and well maintained. Our suite was very spacious with a huge balcony that faced the garden and pool. The staff was friendly and helpful, kudos to the manager Aree, who gave us many useful excursion suggestions. Such a graceful lady! The inclusive breakfast offered many selections, all delicious. They provided free shuttle to the airport, that was just around the corner, and we used Grab everywhere, which made getting around very convenient. No question that Suanpaak added to our love for Chiang Mai! Will definitely recommend you to visit.
- Ashleigh (10/5): - This property can boast a stunning landscape and architectural design! The greenery is gorgeous and makes your stay more unique than other hotels in the city. Service by ALL staff is impeccable. Extremely helpful and friendly team dedicated to making your stay the best and most memorable. Would choose to stay at this property over and over again! Do note that mattresses are VERY firm and AC could be more powerful. These did not take away from overall excellent experience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet, clean and near to Central of Chiang Mai shopping centre.
- PeterPatItalia (10/5): From years and years always better and better! - First of all a huge thank you 🙏🏼 to this special place so kind staff , we always feel as we arrive at home! Year by year always so great place with special care to the guests! Super clean place in a beautiful tropical garden with magnificent apartments and rooms well equipped and modern but the best is the friendly and professional staff starting from the manager ( Khun Aree) and all the great equipe: I wish to say thank you one by one, you are unique! Don’t miss this place! Now new internet system with one router x room to better share your holidays experiences! Well done 👍🏻 VC@ suanpaak team👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼!
- Cecilia (10/5): - The hotel is close to the airport. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They also speak good English.
They gave us a late check out without any additional charges. They aldo provided a free transport to the airport.
I highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again.
- andymanrod (2/5): Avoid the manager. - Avoid this place. A Manager has horrible customer service. I booked a room with a sofa bed for 3 guests. She said that maid was not there to make sofa bed. Booking.com clearly had 3 guests with a room with a queen bed and sofa bed. She refused to make the sofa bed and only offered to upgrade to another room with 2 beds for 1000 baht per night more. I said no that I purchased a room with 2 beds on booking and showed her on my phone. She said she cant do anything about it . She then runs to the office and cancels the reservation my guess in order to avoid a bad review on booking. She then sends a message to booking stating that I booked a room with 1 bed. That obviously conflicts with the reservation I made. The place was pretty. But decided to stay closer to the old town and not deal with manager.
- Benjamin (10/5): - this place was the best place i stayed for my trip the staff is the best around wow 10 star service what a great group
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Conveniently located next to the airport, and free transportation provided to the terminal. Next to a large mall, but not walkable to much else.
- stevemX2605RM (10/5): Holiday - Lovely very well maintained hotel the manager is very help and went the extra mile in helping me
get back my glasses which I had left on the plane and staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are large and quirky the pool Is fun and breakfast is More than adequate and well presented
The hotel is very well maintained and we Did not hear any planes as the hotel is in walking distance from the airport
The old town is very easy to reach by taxi
I would recommend this hotel
- Yuen Lung (8/5): Review - the stay was good. just 1 downside that the aircond not strong enough. even though we put to the lowest but it didnt get to the bed.for breakfast , need a bit more variety.i would like to praise for their pick up services from airport.top notch.
- Steveo2511 (10/5): Excellent stay on all levels - From the moment we arrived we were treated like the only guests in the hotel . Our stay would of not been the same if not for the front desk staff on all levels .
So I thank you for making our family trip to Thailand- Chaing Mai unforgettable.
10/10 !!
- WaLNUTTo (8/5): Very closed to the airport and shopping mall. Recommended. - We spent only a night here for a quick stop at Chiang Mai. The hotel is literally very closed to Chiang Mai Airport, and just steps from Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport. The wooden room makes us feel like staying in a cabin in a farm. Amenities are sufficient. Breakfast is quite good with number of selections. Staffs are really nice and enthusiastic. Truly recommended!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent at all levels. Nothung but good thungs to say.
- Richard (10/5): - The hotel was clean and staffs were nice.
- MidlandsMissT (8/5): Great! ( just a shame about the cold pool!) - A very quirkily hotel! We loved wondering around the hotel admiring the art work, plants, tree house, caves and lettuce farm! So much to investigate!!
The rooms were clean and spacious. Our AC was quite noisy, but fine, it didn’t keep us awake at night.
You can hear the planes going over, but again, not enough for it to effect your sleep! ( the hotel is a stones throw from the run way and will offer to pick you up for free)
The staff were attentive and always put our needs first. Breakfast was a buffet style. Regularly restocked. It was good- a few cereals, fruit, bacon, egg and bread for toast, as well as Thai options.
The biggest disappointment for us was the temperature of the pool. It was so cold. I can handle fairly cold pools but none of us were able to swim so it was empty most of the time we were there. I would make this a priority as at the end of a busy day looking around the city, a swim is exactly what people needed!
The coffee and ice cream shop as you enter the hotel was lovely. It’s a shame they didn’t make more of the restaurant for evening meals as the building is beautiful( especially when lit up at night )
Although the hotel isn’t in the old city it was easy and cheap enough for us to get a tuk tuk ( or red bus) to the centre.
It was conveniently located next to the Mal with food and a supermarket too.
I would recommend this hotel as long as you’re happy not to swim. ( I’m also aware that our trip was in February and may warm up in the summer months)
- LLRose (10/5): My third time to stay here, and it's still great - I book this hotel when I need to be near the airport, and it always great. The rooms are large, clean, and attractive. There are restaurants on site, and the staff is always so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. This time, I asked to leave a piece of luggage while I took a quick trip to Pai and then came back. When I returned and checked in, I asked about the bag, and they said it was already in my room! Nice. They have a large pool and fountain that is relaxing to listen to when you're on your balcony. And, they are happy to drive you to the airport. The airport is so close you could almost walk to it, but when you have a lot of luggage it's nice to get a ride. Despite being next to the airport and next to a shopping mall, it is surprisingly quiet. Highly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Suanpaak seems to be consistently price to service ratio-wise an excellent stay.
Location great for departures from ChiangMai airport. Mall close by is a plus.
- WingYin_xyy (10/5): Green and nice - We stayed at a two-bed room suite on 3/F. The hotel associates were all friendly and helpful. Room was neat and clean.
You can enjoy a walk in the morning around the hotel, looking at those beautiful green plants, with birds singing around you. Lots of space fir kids to run and explore. Swimming pool as well. There is an indoor plantation which supply the inhouse restaurant with different kinds of vegetables. Breakfast with just a small number of choices, but all are delicious. I really love their steamed rice and prok. The restaurant offers you some great choices, prices are reaable. Tasty! And the CHANG!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice hotel room and staff. We wanted a hotel close to the airport and it is. There are not any restaurants to explore around the area and the road in front of the hotel is very busy with an overpass. They do have a restaurant in the hotel, and the morning free breakfast is very good. The pool is nice to look at, but like most Thai hotel pools, the water is not heated and too cold to swim in in January.
- camilac568 (10/5): Amazing Hotel - We were there in Honey Moon, we got an amazing room, all the facilitys. The Hotel looks as an oasis in the city. Near enough from the center. Easy mobility, near a Shopping Mall. I loved this Hotel, the staff, everything. I would come back to stay there for sure.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The friendly hotel administration makes guests feel very welcome. They pay attention to every detail. You can find surprise everywhere from colourful shadow casted by stained window to mini plants in coconut shell. A very beautiful place to stay and it’s right next to Central Airport Plaza Mall where you can find foodcourt that offers delicious local food.
- JasonAdams (10/5): - The management and staff were excellent hosts, so helpful and friendly. The facility is beautifully decorated and the rooms are superb. One of my best stays ever, and I’ve stayed in hundreds of places. Thanks Khun Aree and staff :) 🙏
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Super nice stuffs do as they promised. They told me they will be there at 4am in the morning to take me to the airport and they did. Very proud of them
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent hotel very convenient for airport - private free shuttle provided
- jayjE9752CU (10/5): Amazing - Suanpaak means vegetable garden in Thai....this place grows its own veggies and that's what you get In the 3 restaurants within the complex! This place is amazing g extremely close to the airport and you can be in the city centre within minutes! The rooms are awesome (especially the bathroom). We had a pool view room and wow. Loved every minute of our stay. The staff are incredible and always smiling, Willing to help as much as possible. The pool, gardens, grotto, tree house. Fell in love with it as soon as we arrived. This has now become our accommodation of choice for all our future visits. Great if you wish to do activities such as zip lining and elephant sanctuaries.
Cannot recommend this place enough!
- Daniel (10/5): Enjoyable time - When we arrived we had several very friendly people helping us at registration. They took us to our room and explained all the different amenities including the pool and spa. In the morning breakfast was pretty decent. And they took us to the airport free of charge. The room was nice. It had a unique style and there were lots of nice little details. Though the location of the hotel was in a busy area next to a mall, they did a good job with fences and greenery to make it seem a little more isolated and private. It was also nice to have a mall just a couple minutes walk where we could go get food and shop. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
- agcluvstravel (10/5): Very aesthetically done place - Location is great in terms of access to shopping malls and airport.
The city centre or the centre wall is roughy 4-5KMs from here.
The rooms are aesthetically done, very clean and well maintained.
I loved the bathroom the most, excellent choice of tiles and very spacious.
Another great feature is the centralised remote for the lights, I like that concept.
The staff are very helpful and hospitable.
The breakfast spread is enjoyable.
Since it is on the main road, at times it could get a bit noisy.
But only in the evenings around 5-7PM, but inside the room you would not hear much.
Quaint ad aesthetically done! Sure would recommend if you like to be within the city limits.
- David (10/5): - We absolutely LOVED and enjoyed our stay at VC@Suanpaak. The staff went over and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and happy.
Staff was extremely sweet and courteous.
We were welcomed with fresh fruit everyday once returning from our excursions.
Breakfast was delicious.
We were picked up and dropped off at the airport for no extra charge.
- Logan (10/5): Best hotel we stayed at in Thailand - I just got done with the Everest Base Camp trek and my wife came to meet me in Nepal. We immediately flew to Bangkok and immediately flew to Chaing mai. I knew she was going to be tired so I booked a nice cheap hotel that was close to the airport. I based it off of price, distance from said airport, and a generally high rating on cheap tickets/trip advisor.
Once we arrived, we felt that we were in a high end tropical paradise. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was HUGE, super clean, and very modern & cozy. The breakfast buffett had everything for all types of people from around the world and it was delicious. they had over 15 types of main foods to choose from and many fruit and juices made in front of you.
The next morning, they called our tour company and confirmed a swift pick up for us. They gave us all of the information of local attractions and even informed us of the non "tourist" things that we should do. They were super great.
After 5 different hotels all throughout Thailand, we knew this one was the best. Not only because of the price and customer service, but because of the cleanliness and elegant rooms. I never would do this normally, but I would go back to Chaing Mai just to stay at this hotel. If anyone says anything else, they are too fancy for anything below a 6 star hotel. I've stayed in the best hotels in Dubai and the worst hostel in Peru so believe me when I say... This place was great!!
- Linda (10/5): Quiet yet Quaint affordable luxury apartment - Beautiful facility with lush green trees and surroundings. All sorts of interesting places to sit and relax. Quiet and Comfortable pool area. Rooms are immaculately clean and well serviced. 5 minutes to Shopping Mall. Free airport shuttle. Only 5 minutes to airport. Free breakfast/fruit/water. Highly recommend.
