- Abhijeetkini (10/5): A comfortable experience with a lot of smiles! - We had a lovely stay at Fairfield by Marriott, Kharadi. Since my wife is a Bonvoy member, and we were looking for a hotel closer to the venue of an event we were part of, this was perfect. We were 10 mins away from the venue from here. And the hotel is situated in a very convenient neighbourhood, with a mall at walking distance (Nyati mall). There are ample amenities nearby for urgent needs and visits. Coming to the hotel itself, it is well maintained, though slightly compact. Nonetheless, the rooms were comfortable and the service was always with a smile. Special mention to Debasmita, Tushar and Tanushree for making our stay comfortable. We had booked 2 rooms, one for me, my wife and kid, and the second for my parents who had accompanied. They were very well taken care of by the staff thanks to very prompt responses the staff had. Especially when there was an issue with the room key cards, they promptly came and sorted it. The breakfast buffet was nice, though basic. Loved the masala dosa there, and the eggs station. Tea was great! They made sure my kid was comfortable during his breakfast sitting, and Debasmita struck a nice conversation with him too making sure hes taken care of. They were kind enough to pack us some parathas freshly made and some bakes for my kid since we had to drive back to Mumbai after breakfast and he may get hungry around lunch time. Very sweet gesture. The property has a nice parking area at the back (though no valet), and there's ample space to park. The only issue was whenever we drove towards the hotel at night, the signage seemed to be very hard to spot, and we always looked for the Dominos pizza board just before it, and then swerved left to enter the hotel gate. Apart from that, a lovely stay. Great staff, good comfortable stay.

- 148sandeepa (2/5): Dinner Buffet @ Kava fairfield by Marriott, Kharadi - We recently visited Kava by Marriott in Kharadi for their dinner buffet, priced at ₹1250+tax, and unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. The buffet spread was very limited and most of the dishes were served cold. The food itself lacked flavor and tasted quite bland, which was unexpected from a place positioned as a 5-star dining experience. Overall, the variety and quality did not justify the price at all. That said, Debasmita from the staff was extremely helpful and tried her best to improve our experience. She kindly arranged for the starters and a few other items to be remade according to our taste preferences, which we truly appreciated. Ironically, the only things that really stood out were the cold drinks and the ice cream, which ended up being the highlight of the meal. Considering the price and the reputation of the hotel, the experience felt like a complete waste of an occasion, time, and money. We expected much better in terms of both food quality and buffet variety.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. A special mention must go to the staff, who truly elevated the experience. Debasmita and Yogesh were incredibly helpful throughout the stay and ensured that everything was taken care of with warmth and professionalism. Their attentiveness made us feel genuinely welcomed. Tanuja, Preeti, and Rushabh at the reception were very accommodating and helped us in a comfortable and hassle-free stay. They immediately offered us early check-in, late check-out, etc. Even the Housekeeping staff Sandeep and Santosh were very helpful in many ways. Naba, a young guy at the coffee shop made our breakfast experience memorable. This business hotel is situated strategically in Kharadi. The famous Kharadi khaau galli (streetfood lane) is just a short walking distance from the hotel. Overall, it's a small but good property for those travelling to Kharadi for business purposes.

- MCRanaOng (2/5): Declining Standards – Disappointing Stay Despite Years of Loyalty. - I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent five-night stay at your property , my fourth, and regrettably, likely my final visit. As a returning guest who has previously enjoyed excellent service, I was shocked by the unacceptable decline in both hospitality and basic service standards. Front Desk: Unprofessional and Indifferent From the outset, it was evident that guest loyalty is neither recognized nor appreciated at this property. Upon check-in, the front desk lady staff asked whether it was my first time staying which was a baffling oversight, especially considering my membership status and stay history. This suggests that guest records are either poorly maintained or not utilized at all. When I requested an additional luggage rack to accommodate our two large suitcases, I was met with a flat refusal and no effort to assist. The front desk lady staff repeatedly said “no” after calling housekeeping, without offering any alternatives or follow-up. Eventually, I approached housekeeping directly, who immediately provided the rack without issue, a task the front desk should have handled with ease. This lack of initiative, empathy, and ownership is inexcusable. Throughout the stay, staff engagement remained minimal. Employees routinely avoided eye contact, failed to greet guests, and exhibited no warmth or professionalism! A stark contrast to the Fairfield Mumbai, where hospitality was genuine and consistent. Kava Restaurant: Poor Execution and No Accountability The breakfast service at Kava was consistently disappointing. Despite multiple requests for well-done fried eggs, I was repeatedly served undercooked eggs with runny yolks. On one occasion, after returning a plate to the staff member managing the egg station (Santu), I waited another 15 minutes without so much as an apology or explanation. It was particularly concerning to witness the head chef having to instruct staff during live service on how to cook a basic fried egg which something that should be well-covered in training. The final egg was silently handed to me by an intern without even placing it on the table. After three consecutive failures with fried eggs, I gave up on fried eggs and ordered a basic omelet without coriander. Assuming it may have been a language barrier, my husband ,a native Hindi speaker placed the order. Yet again, the order was incorrect. When I informed Santu that it was the third time the order had been wrong, his only response was “Oh, okie” again, without any apology or acknowledgment. His presence at the egg counter added no value and instead seemed to contribute to the chef’s nervousness and continued mistakes. The only commendable service at the restaurant came from Shraddha, who stood out as the sole staff member actively engaging with guests, checking on their needs, and delivering service with energy and professionalism. In contrast, several other staff members (wearing those tight suits) loitered idly around the egg station or stood at the entrance with no clear purpose or engagement. Housekeeping: A Bright Spot The one saving grace of this stay was the housekeeping team. Omkar and Rajesh did a commendable job in ensuring the room remained impeccably clean and well-maintained. Their work deserves recognition and appreciation. Uncredited Marriott Bonvoy Points Adding to my disappointment, it has now been 12 days since my stay, and my Marriott Bonvoy points have yet to be credited. I called the hotel two days ago and was assured the points would be submitted within 10 days. However, no update has been reflected in my account. This delay and lack of follow-through once again reflect poor consistency and accountability which unfortunately mirrors the broader issues I encountered during my stay. This stay was not only disappointing, it was a complete failure in delivering even the most basic standards of hospitality. I no longer feel that my loyalty to this property or perhaps even to the Marriott brand is valued. I have been staying in this hotel since 2019 and even held my wedding here (2022) as I really enjoyed my stay that time with the last batch of staffs who has left the organization. Unless there is a serious commitment to retraining your staff, improving operational standards, and reestablishing a guest-first mindset, I see no reason to return or recommend this property in the future.
