• Ella (8/5): Preiswertes Zimmer in Strandnähe - Schönes Zimmer und guter Pool, nah am Strand! Freundliches Personal. Der Ort war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss, dadurch war es morgens oft laut und Menschen direkt vor der Tür (direkt am Pool). Die Klimaanlage war nachts öfter laut.

• Agnieszka (8/5): - Fajna lokalizacja, blisko na plażę jak i do sklepów. Hotel jest położony na ubocznej uliczce, dzięki czemu był tam spokój i cisza. Bardzo miła obsługa. Niestety po ścianie i półkach chodziły nam malutkie robaczki, coś w stylu polskich meszek. Nie można było zostawić żadnego jedzenia. Te robaczki to chyba częsty problem, ponieważ nie pierwszy raz się z nimi spotkaliśmy w hotelach w Azji.
• Анастасия (3/5): - Отель не плохо расположен относительно пляжа, буквально пару минут от моря. Администратор Сэм. На этом из плюсов, пожалуй, все. Отель маленький. Из развлечений только небольшой бассейн. Завтраки скудные и дорогие. До ближайшего 7/11 надо идти на дорогу, никаких развлечений вокруг нет. До цивилизации добираться только на такси и по жутким пробкам, по ним же возвращаться назад. Даже до массажа идти минут 10-15 минимум. Погулять негде, если с погодой не повезет и на море будут волны - делать решительно нечего. Совсем. Хотя до пляжа близко. Номера старые, сантехника вся сломанная - моете руки в раковине, а вода течет прямиком Вам на ноги, собираете ее сами и гоните в душ, но оттуда она тоже не уходит. Причем, мы меняли номер - ситуация с сантехникой ровно такая же. И у друзей в номере ровно тоже самое. Слышимость в номерах колоссальная, некоторые номера со смежной дверью (поэтому и меняли свой номер), соответственно, ни о каком комфорте речи быть не может. Ночью кричат обезьянки и/или птички - ощущение, что прямо Вам в ухо. Подушки не удобные. Но самый главный минус - это управляющий отеля - агрессивный, злой, разговаривает с высока и на повышенных тонах, как будто не мы платим деньги отелю за проживание, а он нам доплачивает за эти номера. Приветлив только с европейцами, и то с теми, кто выпивает с ним на баре и тратит в этом баре свои деньги. Ужасное отношение к гостям, я такого еще не встречала. Из-за управляющего уехали из отеля на сутки раньше, чем оплачивали, оставаться в таком месте, с таким отношением - было выше всяких сил. Рекомендую поискать другой отель для проживания. При минимальном комфорте и удаленности еще и рискуете нарваться на ужасное отношение. Отель максимум переночевать и максимум на пару ночей.

Endroit très calme hormis la faune local , oiseaux et cigales qui chantent :) Pour le petit déjeuner du jus frais pressé serait vraiment un plus contrairement au jus en bouteille servi … À noter que le jeudi matin pas de petit déjeuner mais bon on peut le prendre sur la plage à 3 minutes .

O staff mais simpático de todos os locais que estive na minha estadia da Tailândia (e eu estive em muitos alojamentos). Muito prestáveis. Hotel limpo, confortável, comida muito boa desde pequeno almoço a refeições principais, piscina incrível e super perto da praia! Gostei de tudo!

They also organized our trips, We went to the The Elephant sanctuary which was a great experience. The extra bed and mattress were very uncomfortable. The main bed was ok. The nearby beach has filthy water with sewers running into it every 100m. Pig island trip is not very nice for the price. 1500B (45 eur) per person gets you 15 min boat ride to a very disappointing snorkeling spot (not a single coral, or fish, just a bunch of sea grass and murky water). Then they provide free time on the Pig island with low value lunch.

Da wir nicht dort gefrühstückt haben, können wir dazu nichts sagen. Das Zimmer war gut, das Bett bequem. Die Nähe zum Strand war sehr gut. Pooltücher z. T. sehr fleckig. Die Klobrille wackelte extrem. Wurde trotz Wunsch dies zu beheben, leider nicht gemacht. Hätte ja beim Putzen schon auffallen müssen. Es ist sehr hellhörig. Balkonmöbel unbequem.

• ian (10/5): Ampha is the perfect Place - Small and very friendly hotel (only 15 rooms) Staff gave off a family vibe, with a caring, happy and attentive ethos, which seemed to be contagious amongst the wide nationality of guests, including couples, families and lone travellers. Housekeeping standards and room and resort cleanliness was very high. Located just a 3 min walk to the beach with a good choice of beach restaurants and bars to satisfy most, athough the small and personal dining/bar area meant you didnt have to venture far for good fayre. Also close enough to main town facilities yet not too close to be disturbed by traffic noise etc. The pool was perfect to laze around all day or cool off after day out or at the beach. By far the best front of house staff we have met on our travels. Special note to Sam and William whose farang language skills were commendable, always happy and keen to help and ensure everyone had a great stay. Having to leave.

Es ist von Vorteil einen Roller zu mieten, wenn man etwas von der Insel sehen will. 7-Eleven und Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig und das Bad war nicht so schön. La toilette ne flushait pas bien. De plus, l’eau remontait avec des remous, et ce, même si on ne l’utilisait pas.

Die Inhaber / Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind sehr nett und Aufmerksam . Kostenloses Wasser täglich . Schöner Pool . Leider hatten wir ein Problem mit unserem Wasserablaif in der Dusche . Das Bad stand komplett unter Wasser , dementsprechend stank es nach Abfluss . Wir mussten leider 1 Nacht im Zimmer bleiben, am nächsten Morgen bekamen wir ein anderes Zimmer . Das Frühstück ist ok, aber nicht mehr . Dafür auch zu teuer . Der Pool ist schön, aber bei 15 Zimmern, teilweise belegt mit Kindern, ist an Ruhe und Erholung nicht zu denken . Dafür ist der Pool viel zu klein .

• Melissa (9/5): Super Lage, freundliches Personal - Sam und sein Kollege waren super freundlich und höflich, sodass man sich direkt wohlgefühlt hat. Das Hotel sieht aus wie auf den Bildern und die Zimmer haben alles, was man braucht. Die Lage ist super, in einer Nebenstraße und nur wenige Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Einzig die Bettwäsche und der Abfluss im Bad hat etwas merkwürdig gerochen.

Location de scooter possible directement à l’hôtel, restaurant sur place, piscine à bonne température avec des transats au soleil toute la journée. • Inna (10/5): Schönes Hotel zu empfehlen! - Herzlicher Empfang von dem Manager Sam und anderen Personal. Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Schönes sauberes Zimmer. Im Bad alle Duschprodukte. Es gibt ein Restaurant mit gutem Essen direkt im Hotel. Schwimmbad mit genug Strandtücher. Ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ist ein Strandbar, wo man sehr gut essen kann und Platz für Erholung hat. Sogar mit Live Musik (nicht jeden Abend). Eigentlich nichts. Ein bisschen abseits. Man braucht einen Scooter.

• Hripsime (9/5): A wonderful stay - A wonderful stay! Ampha Place had all that you would need for a stay in Mae Nam - a beautiful beach within 3 mins walking distance, nice eateries, close to 7/11 and near the pier (for our travel to Koh Tao). The rooms were clean and spacious, and we were provided with water, coffee and tea. It had a lovely pool, with sun loungers, which you could enjoy at any hour of the day. Wanted to point out the really great hospitality from the manager, Sam, who ensured we had all we needed for our stay (including a super early check in, an upgraded room and extra towels for the beach). Thank you Sam - it was great to meet you!
• Jackie (9/5): Lovely little hotel in a lovely spot - The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Loved the pool. A lovely beach only a short 2 minute walk. Was also a good location for tour pick ups. Nice quiet location. I would be happy to stay here again. The surrounding restaurants weren't great but it's not far from Fisherman's village. Get a rental car or a scooter as transport is a must to get out and about. Driving is a little bit hairy to start with but you get used to it.

• Sandra (8/5): Fijn hotel, heel schoon en op een goede locatie. - Mooi hotel met een fijn zwembad. Vriendelijke staff. Heel schoon en netjes. Heerlijk dichtbij een rustig strand met een paar hele fijne strandtenten. Ook de massage op het strand was heerlijk. Goede locatie vlakbij het strand en ook vlakbij de doorgaande weg. Taxi's konden het goed vinden. Rondtouren op Koh Samui moet met een scooter (maar we zagen veel slachtoffers van ongelukken) of met een (behoorlijk) dure taxi. Goed om hier rekening mee te houden als je 'uit de drukte' zit, zoals in dit hotel. Ontbijt kon je bestellen, maar dat vonden wij wat tegenvallen (afbakbroodjes en jus d'orange uit een pak). Er zijn leukere opties op het strand of aan de doorgaande weg, bijv Sweet&Salty, Moonhut beach, Nana beach of Darin resort. Er zit een galm van beneden naar boven, waardoor het geluid van de telefoons van de staff boven ook goed te horen was. Daar zit je niet op te wachten als hotelgast. Ook een gesprek van de manager met zijn manager (?) was erg luid en op de 2e verdieping ook te volgen. Daar zou meer rekening mee gehouden kunnen worden. Er was 1,5 dag geen water. Er werd hard gewerkt om dat op te lossen, maar de wc moesten we zelf doorspoelen met zwembadwater. Er had pro-actiever een oplossing geboden kunnen worden.
• pauline (10/5): - Nous sommes restés 1 semaine à Ampha Place et sommes enchantés de ce choix. L'hôtel est très bien situé, à 100m de la plage, de nombreux restaurants et salon de massage côté plage qui est calme et belle. Si on se dirige côté route principale, à 400m, street food, 7/11, tout est là ! L'hôtel en lui même est propre, décoré avec goût. Piscine au top ! Nous y avons pris nos petits déjeuners : un délice !! Bravo en cuisine ! Bravo et merci aussi à toute l'équipe, en particulier à Sam présent tout au long de notre séjour, qui nous a bien conseillé pour nos sorties, et avec qui nous avons pris plaisir à échanger. • Sebastien (7/5): - Séjour correct dans l’ensemble, mais je suis déçue par le service. L’hôtel est bien situé et l’accueil de base est poli, Sam est très sympathique et disponible, mais pour un établissement affiché 3 étoiles, le niveau d’entretien et de suivi n’est pas au rendez-vous. Durant mon séjour, la chambre n’a pas été faite : pas de lit refait, pas de serviettes changées, poubelles non vidées (alors que le papier toilette doit être jeté dedans), pas de papier toilette remplacé sans demande, ni de bouteilles d’eau ou café réapprovisionnés. J’ai dû réclamer certains basiques à la réception à plusieurs reprise ( papier toilette , eau ) ce qui n’est pas normal pour ce niveau d’hôtel. De plus, même si le personnel est présent, il semblait souvent plus occupé par son téléphone que par l’attention portée aux clients, ce qui renforce l’impression d’un manque de professionnalisme. C’est dommage, car avec un service d’entretien plus régulier et une meilleure disponibilité du personnel, l’expérience serait bien meilleure et plus conforme à un vrai 3 étoiles.
• Roger (8/5): - Good boutique hotel close to the beach, perfect for having a relaxing time in Koh Samui. No major luxuries. For the price, I was expecting to have free water at least per day and for sure better coffee in their breakfast. Also, the mattress was extremely hard, and the bathroom was leaking water, not expected in this kind of hotel.
• Mariela (9/5): Heerlijk - Heerlijk plekje, vlakbij een fijn, rustig strand. Ontzettend lieve en zorgzame managers, altijd in voor een praatje en een grapje. Heerlijk ontbijt en hele fijne bedden. Je voelt dat dit plekje met liefde wordt gerund. 🙏
• Sylvine (9/5): Great value for money!!! - Great little place to stay! 2min walk to the beach and several restaurants close by. Sam the concierge was amazing and really made the stay wonderful for us. He had great local knowledge and went above and beyond!!! Thanks Sam! There are random steps at this place and stairs to the upper rooms so if you don’t want to be on the ground floor right by the pool be aware.
• Anna (10/5): Absolute Empfehlung für Familien - Personal ist außergewöhnlich. Sam kümmert sich um jeden Wunsch und jedes Problem. Die Frau die auch noch an der Rezeption ist ist auch sehr bemüht. Würde das Hotel Freunden empfehlen. Betten sind bisschen hart.

• Jiri (9/5): Supernice - The hotel was perfect for our family. We had the 2 rooms downstairs with a connecting door and three steps from the pool - very nice. Tastefully equipped, much nicer than the pics suggested ;-) Once we took a coffee just the two of us for a short while on the Main road and we knew that kids (14,7) were on the radar and safe, as the hotel is very small and extremely kind staff. Only 50 m from the beach and great breakfast. All thumbs up!

• Colleen (10/5): Perfect beach stay! - We had a great time at Ampha place! The location is perfect- just a 3 minute walk from the beach which was not busy at all. Good restaurants nearby but not crowded. Great pool and chairs with umbrellas. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating! They even helped us out after our stay! N/A
• Caitlin (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing stay all round. - Quiet, clean and well kept. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to help you and make you feel like family. You will enjoy the tranquility, the short walk to the beach and Main Street. You can buy coffee, breakfast, lunch and early dinner if you wish, and it’s all very tasty. You can also hire a motorbike from them for a very decent price. Will definitely stay again! Nothing I can think of. Sad to have left.
• Caterina (10/5): Exceptional - I usually don’t write reviews but I had such a lovely stay! The location is great—just a short walk to the beach and close to a few nice restaurants, which was ideal since I wasn’t riding a scooter. What really made my stay special, though, was the wonderful staff/owners. Sam, Arissa and Yannick (hope I spelled all names right) were incredibly welcoming and kind, and as a solo female traveler, I really appreciated how safe and at home they made me feel. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. And the pool area is beautiful, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the island!
• Kirill (9/5): Absolutely amazing place, good staff. Worth your attention - Everything was fine. The host equals owner was amazingly hostile and kind. He gave us all info we needed. The hotel is new after renovation. A clean beach is nearby. The location is far away from noisy streets and bars. Excellent for calm and peaceful resting. Far away from the parties and markets. If you like activities you need to go long by taxis or bike. For someone it’s not the reason.
• Margus (9/5): Superb - Ampha Hotel is a true hidden gem in the Mae Nam Beach area, just 50 meters from the beach. The hotel is located on a quiet street, yet still close to the center. Our room was on the ground floor, allowing us to enjoy the Thai sun while lounging on the pool chairs. The room is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need. While the bathroom doesn’t ventilate moisture very well, the room is generally of good quality. The hotel staff is incredibly helpful. Our flight arrived early in the morning, but we were still able to check in early.

Helped us with boats to other islands and taxis and sorted us out with a bike hire. The owner gave us a lift to the port when we were leaving! Such a lovely property. The room was so beautiful I would recommend. Great place to stay for a bit of a quiet vibe but in the centre of everything. Nothing
