• Philip (7/5): First time in Thailand and got the location off a friend who had booked for a week whilst I was in Thailand so I booked - Location to the beach and centre.. Much more basic than anticipated and every room should have air con as standard.. some nights were hard to sleep.. my friends had me stay for most of the time with them plus I badly bruised my middle toe coming out of the bathroom..

• Felix (3/5): - Die Lage der Anlage mit Swimmingpool ist sehr gut und schön,! Hatte einen Bungalow gebucht , und ein Zimmer in einen 2 Stockigen Gebäude bekommen. Aber als ich die Dame darauf ansprach wollte sie mich für dumm verkaufen und erklärte dass das ein Bungalow sei!!! Die Zimmer sind minimalst ausgestattet, es fehlen Sicherheitsbox, ein anständiger Tisch und Sessel und ein Gestell zum Badetücher trocknen, weiters sind am Swimmingpool keine Auflagen für die Kunststoffbetten vorhanden!

• Hamed (7/5): Un Hôtel Idéal pour ceux qui aiment Lamai ! - La chambre dans un bungalow, spacieuse et au pied de la piscine. La piscine est grande, chaise longue à disposition. La plage est à 20 mètres à gauche en sortant du resort. Toutes les commodités (Boutiques, restos,location motos,ATM, seven eleven...) sont autour de l'hôtel. Lamai beach n'était pas du tout un endroit pour moi. Trop de bars, trop de restaurants et de boutiques, trop de touristes et trop de bruits ! Mais l'hôtel était correcte. Pour quelqu'un qui aime cet endroit de kho Samui, le best Resort est idéal.

• Nikola (10/5): Good place for great value! - Big pool with warm water, beach is like 1 minute walk away. Bungalow was clean and we were given water and toilet paper every day. Staff were always nice to us! Restaurants are just walking distance away. Room has just a fan, no AC so can be very warm. Also no blanket or duvet but since it’s very hot you don’t really need it or you can use towels as a blanket like we did haha.

• barbara (8/5): Bon rapport qualité prix , piscine et emplacement pas mal . - La piscine qui n’ a pas d’horaire on a pu se baigner très tard c était sympa . Chambre tout à fait correct : Clim, frigo , de quoi ranger ses vêtements. La plage est à côté . Je ne suis restée qu une seule nuit au final car il y avait des méduses sur Lamai. Rapport qualité prix plutôt bien je trouve. Personnel sympathique. Matelas trop dur je ne suis pourtant pas difficile , j’avais l’impression de dormir par terre .

• Chloe (3/5): 1 STAR - They had a swimming pool amd it was close to the beach and the strip area On arrival, we showed the staff our booking which was 2x rooms with a fan. They did not look happy at the price on booking.com and refused to take payment frpm us on arrival. They then took us too a room and then asked for the payment 2 days afterwards to which we tried to hand them the correct amount as stated on booking.com. they told us they had upgraded our rooms to air conditioning rooms and we owed them a further 1800 bhat £42ish. So they done this on the sly thinking we would pay more by upgrading our room without telling us it was upgraded. We refused to pay them more and they were not happy with this. The staff came across as very rude. I was by myself when paying and there was 2x adults laughing infront of my face whilst speaking thai which made me feel very intimidated. Beds were also very uncomfy and very hard!

Пожалуй больше плюсов не вижу Грязно в номере, даже после просьбы убрать номер, полы и предметы интерьера покрыты слоем пыли, ходить только в тапочках. В санузле нет заявленных в описании предметов гигиены. В общем, номер и санузел требует ремонта.

• Harriet (7/5): Great location, pool was nice and good size. Rooms cleaned every day - Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. Pool was clean. Location was brilliant, seconds from beach and loads of bars and restaurants. Visit the office, a few doors up. Owner is lovely The pool area could have done with being weeded and the sunbeds were a bit old and grimy.

But this is like a homeless persons put things together, filing cabin that didn’t open, no place to store clothes bar a hand rail Bathroom shower drain is far corner behind toilet so must soak entire bathroom to get clean Loads of broken items Though I put bin out its wasn’t emptied till even when I left a whole week of dirty nappies lay there Only one light fitting in the bungalow so when need the loo must turn on main room light waking my baby I don’t watch tv but not even tuned in nor a remotes

• Amelia (7/5): It was great for us because we only stayed in Lamai 1 night so we could explore the whole area as we were close to every - Cosy bungalows. Really nice swimming pool. Perfect location very close to the beach, shops, 7-11, atms, restaurants and all the markets. The shower smelled really bad! To the point where we had to let it run for a bit and it still smelled a bit. The staff weren’t very welcoming; they just handed us the key showed us to our room but didn’t say anything.

• Bella (10/5): - The location was amazing, 30 seconds to the beach and loads of restaurants. 2 minute walk the other way to the main street with shops, food etc. Big pool with a couple sun beds. Only a fan in this heat was just about bearable, we knew this when we booked it but definitely would pay the extra for AC as it was too hot to sleep at times. Everything else was amazing.

What disappointed us this year was the very dirty beach or oil sand :-( (only in some places, unfortunately it was impossible to tell where)

La piscine était aussi formidable,un peu trop chlorée mais niquel , beaucoup mieux que si c’était un bouillon de culture comme je l’ai déjà vu. Nous n’avons pas aimé la façon qu’ils font les lits .il n’y a pas de drap qui enveloppe la couette , ils n’ont pas aimé lorsque nous avons demandé des draps uniquement sans la couette mais ils l’ont fait en rallant,
