• Camisha (1/5): zero stars - After, checking into the Hotel. I went to my room, and the room was dirty, it had a smell and the carpet had a bad odor. I asked, to be put in another one. I was told by front desk staff that there wasn't any more rooms available. I asked, for a refund, and I was told that The GM-Lynn would have to give me a refund on that Monday when she returned to work. I called Lynn and she said, she just got to work and she will give me a call back. I never received a return call from her. I reached out to front dek staff and she stated, she would give Lynn the message to give me a call. Now, it's two weeks later and I have not received a refund, partial credit nor a phone call. Thanks Lynn

We had a water buffalo roomed above us. There was screaming, a massive thud, stomping, and what sounded like furniture being drug around. After being awakened by it, we had to go to the front desk at midnight and ask them to intervene and do welfare check. The noise settled down for a while, but started up again by daylight. Soooo annoying!

• Nancy (10/5): It's a great place to stay. - The location is perfect for us. The food was average. This was one of the cleanest rooms we have rented ever. The bed was very comfortable. We have already made reservations for another trip in a couple of months.

• James (2/5): - We received an email asking if what time we wanted to check out. Everything from 7am - 12pm were given as options. I selected 12pm. We had the cleaning lady tell my adult kids, "If you aren't out by 1230am, I'll have to charge you. Also, there was no hot water. The comforter also had what appeared to be black mascara or ashes on it. We have stayed here plenty of times. Every time before this trip has been nothing but great.

• 684cws (10/5): Our favorite hotel in Slidell, LA - This hotel has the most friendly and courteous staff. They aim to please. It's also extremely close to many of the great restaurants in the area.

The pool was unavailable which is the main reason I booked there. We went to the lobby for breaks we were there maybe 10 minutes there were barely any food there they brought out bacon my daughter fixed bacon for her and myself the pantry/kitchen worker with the Dora The Explorer haircut told her to save some for others while the other guests cleared the breakfast bar out several times never once did she say anything to them when I addressed it to her she said she didn’t notice it which was a lie! I told the front desk manager but being honest I doubt she’ll do anything about it! I will NEVER book there again!

• Harlee (2/5): - Normally we stay here every year. But this year our room was not up to par. There was mold around the light socket, and you could see the water inside of the alarm on the wall. We had asked the front desk to swap room and they only had kings available. You would think that they would have house keeping come up and clean the mold, but they didn't we had to ask for a spray bottle to clean it. Then the fire alarm went off at 3am and you couldn't hear it from our room. You could only see the flashing light from the bathroom.
• reginam685 (2/5): Do not recommend - When I arrived at the hotel I was told I couldn’t check in because the internet was down. The clerk suggested I go down the street to Red Roof Inn to get a room. I told had already paid for three nights here and I had no intention on paying again somewhere else. He then told me if I came back in the morning I MIGHT be able to get a refund. I asked him to call management. He came back and said management said there was nothing they could do. A while later another clerk came and said he could check us in with his phone. Finally right before midnight we checked in. The air conditioning in the room did not keep room cool. We never had a housekeeper come to our room. Trash was running over. I had to ask a housekeeper in the hall for toilet paper and fresh towels. The dirty towels were never picked up. It was ridiculous. The pool was closed our entire stay. The only positives about this property was the location next to restaurants and stores. Definitely will never stay or recommend this property
• Pamela (6/5): Pool not accessible - We booked this hotel because of the indoor pool. The second we walked in, we were told the pool was closed for renovations along with the fitness center. This put a damper on the whole trip.

• Black (4/5): Great staff, great lobby, poor overall facilities. - The staff, for the most part, was great. Professional, kind, and responsive. The lobby set up and breakfast area were the best! Comfortable, large, yet well-sectioned off. We asked if it was ok for our group to hang out as our people came in, and got the green light. It was a great space for us to just be together while group members arrived before we headed to dinner. Also, the location of the hotel was convenient to restaurants and fuel, and not too far from our event. We had a group coming and attempted to directly book for our group and to have access to the meeting space. The reservation was declined by management with no call or email detailing an explanation. When attempting to respond via the email address sent, it bounced back. Thank heavens for Booking.com! We booked the rooms for our group and added a couple more for people in our group who were arriving early and late. Upon arrival, we learned the pool was not working and had been out for 7 months, and the free wifi did not work for any of us. This would have made a difference in our booking had there been an auto message or something saying this. The a/c in our room did not work despite being set at 67 degrees, there was hair in the towels for me and many of my group, the toilets had to be lifted up at the top to flush, and the breakfast and coffee were not great. There was also a bare shop (the area to purchase items you may have left at home and small snacks). The desk chairs in some of our rooms, as well as the business center, almost took you to the floor when you sat in them. These things being different would have made our stay awesome. Unfortunately, we likely will not return to this property nor recommend it.

I love the indoor swimming pool and gym. When I booked it supposedly it was available. When I want to check in after a 700 mile trip I was informed it had been down for several months for renovations. Really wish somebody would have posted on the website that the indoor swimming pool and gym was out of service. It is hard to take a family vacation when the kids have no pool to swim in. Coming all the way from Florida which my kids swim all the time. Asked if I could be compensated for the inconvenience? I was told we did not do that sir.
