The food selection was wide and well-balanced, offering both international and local dishes, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The dining area was clean, comfortable, and nicely arranged, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was great value and a perfect place to enjoy a satisfying meal. I would definitely recommend it and would happily dine here again. I would also like to give special thanks to Rabhel who was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Their warm service and professionalism made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

The entire staff is kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. A special mention goes to Raphael, the head waiter, who is incredibly attentive and genuinely cares about the guests. The breakfast is varied and very good, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. If you are gluten intolerant, you can simply ask and they will happily provide gluten-free alternatives. From the comfort of the rooms to the excellent service, everything is good. I would gladly return again and again, and highly recommend this hotel.

He arranged for Indian food for my family. Highly recommended. They are customer centric ! Kudos ! I must also add that their antique bazaar Indian restaurant is classic . The ambience is very unique and the food tasted awesome ! Must visit ! Prices are nominal and excellent hospitality. We all enjoyed it
- ye0n0hs (2/5): Not recommended due to poor overall experience. - We asked the concierge to call a regular taxi to the airport, but instead of arranging an official taxi, we were taken to a car that was already waiting in front of the hotel. It felt uncomfortable because the concierge staff and the driver seemed to know each other, and it gave us the impression that there might be a private arrangement between them. As hotel guests, we expect transparent and trustworthy service, especially when it comes to transportation. This experience left us feeling disappointed. there was no hair dryer available in our room. This is a basic amenity that guests generally expect to be provided, and its absence caused inconvenience during our stay. during check-out, we were informed that housekeeping confirmation was required in order to process the deposit refund. As a result, we had to stand and wait in the lobby for approximately 10 minutes, which felt unnecessary and poorly managed, especially at the time of departure.
- mfH7320AO (2/5): Extremely Poor Service and Unreturned Deposit After Stay in Dubai - I have never experienced such poor service at a hotel in Dubai. The price and the level of service do not match at all, and in my opinion this hotel does not deserve a single star. During my stay, the customer service was extremely poor. Housekeeping repeatedly forgot to provide clean towels, were very stingy with toilet paper, and took an unreasonably long time to respond when called. On top of that, when contacting the reception from the room, I was constantly transferred from one department to another instead of having my needs handled properly the first time. This level of service is completely unacceptable. After checkout, the situation only became worse. Once the money has been taken, it seems impossible to get it back. It has now been 21 days, and I still have not received my deposit. The hotel cannot be contacted via WhatsApp, and when sending an email, the head office responds only to forward the message to the hotel. After that, there is no response at all. I find it extremely embarrassing that a hotel chooses to keep 500 dirhams from its guests. This was my first and last stay at this hotel.

Everything was amazing especially Abdul. From the first day we met Abdul till the end he was amazing in every way. He helped us with all our needs and went beyond to make our stay pleasant. Folks at reception and overall service staff has excellent attitude. Rooms are space and with awesome views, try to select upper floors for panoramic views. Advice to Hotel Management : It is time to renovate the rooms and have the modern amenities, at times the room felt dated.

All necessities available on 24/7. All other attractions are easily rechable by the Red Line Metro. Breakfast buffet is superb. Room service is excellent. Will come back !
- emmanuelsm2025 (8/5): Great service and amazing views of The Burj Khalifa - Great hotel with amazing views of Dubai Downtown. The manager Mr Gopa understands customers very well. The 12pm checkout is quite convenient as it does not put guests under a lot of pressure to pack and leave and have breakfast. Furniture is great especially downstairs and reception area. Having 3 restaurants in the builiding and which close very late is a huge plus too. The recommendation I would give are: 1. To have more options on the TV channels 2. Round plug electric adapter for guests from countries that do not use square types. 3. Mentioning the 500AED deposit upfront so that guests plan accordingly. Other than that I give Carlton Hotel Downtown a full 5 Stars.

- 939keivans (8/5): Feels like your own apartment in the heart of Dubai! - I stayed at Carlton downtown hotel in Dubai with my friend at Nov 2025 and recommend it for a comfortable and affordable stay in Dubai. Good points: -Great location at Sheykh Zaed road,right next to the Financial center metro station. Dubai Mall is just one metro stop away. -The room had a nice view and was spacious(70-75 sqm) with a full kitchen (cooker,fridge,washing machine)making it feel like home. -Friendly staff and rooms were always clean -Breakfast had good variety and the team quickly refilled food and clean tables. Not so good points: -One day, there was no hot water, and I had to wait 15 minutes after pressing the boiler button. -elevators made a loud noise when we waited for them on the higher floor ,it was not annoying for rooms but not seems normal! Despite these small issues, they didn't affect our overall experience. For the price and location, this hotel is excellent, especially if you want spacious rooms, a kitchen, and easy metro access without paying a lot.

- sevah2025 (10/5): Warm Welcome and view to Burj Khalifa - Good afternoon. The hotel is quite new, and the lobby has just been renovated. Our room was cozy and included a studio kitchen and a separate bedroom. Our room was cleaned daily, and clean towels were provided. I especially want to mention the breakfast, it was varied, including European, vegetarian, Indian cousine. The pastries were very delicious, as were the fresh fruits and vegetables, porridges, etc.. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of Dubai. And on the 47th floor, there is a rooftop pool with a view of the Burj Khalifa,the tower was visible from our room as well. The metro is 2 min. away (Financial Centre metro station, just one stop to Burj Khalifa m.st. ) I want to specifically thank you for the sweet gift on my birthday, it was a surprise, and I was very touched. The staff is very helpful,we were provided with bottles of water every day. Thank you very much for your kindness.

A special mention to Shehzy from the team — she was incredibly helpful when we had to reschedule our trip dates. Truly appreciate her support! The location is unbeatable — just about 220 meters from the Financial Centre Metro Station, less than a kilometer from the Museum of the Future, and you even get a beautiful view of the Burj Khalifa from the hotel. Super convenient for sightseeing and getting around Dubai. The rooms are spacious, clean, and luxurious, with everything working perfectly. The hotel also has an Indian restaurant, Antique Bazaar, which serves amazing food — and guests get a 20% discount, which is a great bonus! Overall, everything about our stay was seamless and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai — you can’t go wrong with this location and hospitality!

- 87toniam (6/5): Ok stay - The overall stay was ok, however I had a few issues. I didn't have hot water, only warm water for 6 days. I complained to the front desk at least twice with no resolve. They don't have wash clothes, so please remember to bring your own or purchase a few at the corner store. The elevator waiting time is longer than it should be, but hopefully that will be resolved once they remodel. Also please keep in mind that microwaves are not standard in all rooms. Again my overall stay was ok, and it probably would have been worse if the staff wasn't nice.

His professionalism, genuine care, and ability to connect with people turned an ordinary dinner into a memorable and delightful experience. I would also like to thank the waiters Marwa, Qamar, and Anqura. They always greeted me with a smile, helped me with menu choices, and did everything to make me feel comfortable. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude added an extra touch of warmth to my stay. Thank you to the whole restaurant team! The restaurant was excellent, and what stood out the most was the amazing service and hospitality of the staff. A special thanks to Rafael, who I believe is the restaurant supervisor. He was super friendly, kind, and truly made us feel welcome with his positive energy. His colleagues (if I got the name right, Maruuae) were also very professional and warm, which made our time at the restaurant even more enjoyable. Now, that’s not a view – that’s theatre. You wake up, open the curtains, and there it is: the world’s tallest thing daring you to be unimpressed. Spoiler: you won’t be. The suite itself was big, comfortable, and frankly far too easy to sink into. The staff? Efficient without being robotic, helpful without hovering – exactly how it should be. Location is spot-on too; you’re in the middle of everything without the chaos creeping into your room. Overall, it wasn’t just a hotel stay. It was one of those rare experiences where everything just works. And in Dubai, where excess is the norm, this place manages to be impressive without trying too hard. I’d happily come back

The hotel is located in an excellent location, less than 5 min walk to the Metro and less than 5 min walk to Gate Avenue Mall ( which has nice fine dining establishments and other dining options) and DIFC Business Center. Less than 5 min walk to Tim Hortons, Starbucks , Pharmacies that are open 24hr. There is a free shuttle that runs multiple times everyday to the Mall of Emirates. The Dubai Mall is only one metro station away.The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable bedding.

Marwa, Angura, Rapael, Myo, Jane, and Sean were all so friendly and attentive. They made us feel so welcome, always checking in if we needed anything and serving with genuine smiles. It honestly felt like being taken care of by friends. A special mention as well to Miss Precious at the front desk, she is always so accommodating and helpful, from the moment we arrived, which really set the tone for our whole stay. It’s not just about the food (which was already so good), but the whole vibe the staff created. Definitely one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Highly recommend!
