- Nobuko Oti (7/5): - 「こころ温かなお迎えとお見送り」 接客が丁寧で心が軽やかになりました。 味スタライブ後の退場規制のラストになり、電車に乗れたのが10時40分。ゲストハウスには11時45分頃到着。間で連絡はさせていただいたものの、ご迷惑をかけてしまいました。にもかかわらず、男性スタッフの方に大変あたたかく迎えていただきました。お部屋まで荷物を運んてくださったのも高齢の身として大変ありがたかったです。 チェックアウト時には、女性スタッフの方が話しかけてくださって、前日のことを楽しく思い出させていただきました。 ありがとうございました。 「惜しい！」 バス・トイレルームがもうちょっとだけ綺麗だと良いなあと思いました。

- Lucile (10/5): Une superbe première soirée en toute sérénité au Japon ! - L’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires était incroyable. Ils m’ont tout de suite parler des environs pour que je puisse me restaurer ou me laver dans un onsen. On a discuté pendant une heure afin de faire connaissance et on a même fini par s’échanger nos contacts. C’était agréable pour moi qui avait le mal du pays en arrivant toute seule au Japon après 21 heures de vol depuis la France. Vraiment je recommande cette endroit à 100%. Rien

- Ronnie Saras (7/5): Great staff / location - Staff were super friendly and great location. The room's blinds were translucent so my much needed sleep after a long flight was broken just after 5am with sunrise.
- A (10/5): Great access to Haneda and Shibuya - The staff were very friendly and the property was comfortable. It was close to Shinagawa station and several restaurants and cafes (I’d recommend Kaido cafe). It was only about 30 minutes from Haneda which allowed a smooth trip in the morning for us (bar rush hour crowds in the subways). Nothing bad to say, we found the bed rolls to be some of the most comfortable of all of our Japan stays!

- Chin Peng (10/5): Great experience and top-notch service provided by the staff. - We came in late, yet we were greeted very warmly by the staff at the guest house. My room was on the first floor, and the staff helped me with the luggage to the room. I was really grateful for that. The owners also pay attention to a lot of details, like, leaving notes here and there at the amenities area, to help us settle in more comfortably. The room was a bit small and not sound proof.

- Samuel (7/5): Basic accommodations in a convenient neighborhood. - The location is very conveniently located near many good restaurants and historical sites, and within walking distance of shinagawa station and the Tokyo monorail to haneda airport. The facilities are very basic, with shared bathrooms and showers, but in line with other guesthouses I have stayed at.

We stayed here for 1 night due to the proximity to the Narita Express and bullet train. The building is older, so expect older rooms/washrooms. We stayed in the triple room (private) which was spacious enough for 3 people for 1 night, but there was only 1 real bed (bunk) and two single mattresses on the floor, which were very thin and uncomfortable (you could feel the floor straight through it).

The rooms are normal for this concept: showers and bathrooms are shared by gender. On my wish list is an elevator, but the person who checked me in took the luggage upstairs to my room

They were considerate, engaging, and can understand/speak English pretty well (at least, more so than my fluency in Japanese)! L équipe est charmante, gentille, attentionnée, à l écoute, donne de bons conseils et adresses pour les restaurants et bains publics. La chambre était très bien, au 1er étage un lit d une place, bon chauffage, Salle de bain et toilette propres et au 1er étage, réservé aux filles. Café et thé offert au petit déjeuner Petit lieu pour le pt dej dex8h à 10h et près de 16h à 2a ou 22h donc on peut prendre un pt dej et un dîner, micro onde, grille pain et eau chaude et bouilloire à disposition S Chambre très petite, pas de place pour poser son sac si ce n est par terre Même si c est calme, les murs fins, le matin, j'entendais les gens faire leur toilette très tôt Prix cher pour cette petite chambre maison edt au Japon, à Tokyo mais pas dans l humer centre!

I also appreciated the kindness of the staff, who were always attentive and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay. There was nothing I didn’t like. - James (10/5): Left wishing I had stayed - First and foremost the staff were all so wonderfully kind and friendly and welcoming and they engaged me and everyone in conversation and they spoke English like you wouldn’t believe and, stop, there’s free coffee every morning from 8-10am. When I went down for the free coffee, the staff invited me to sit down with the three of them in the common room. They asked me a bunch of questions. I forgot to ask any back. Heartwarming stuff. They even wrote me a surprise birthday card. I might have to frame it. I would have to lie to come up with anything bad, really. If you’re an irritable person or if being able to hear the person in the next room is your kryptonite, a hostel might not be for you, superman.

- Mohammad Muntaquim (8/5): The area itself has much to offer, and Shinagawa-shuku suited my simple needs for accomodation - Each one of the staff are warm and welcoming, and are very willing to help you out if you have any questions or queries. They each have their own specialty/recommendations as well, all you need to do is ask! There were quite a handful of activities planned out due to the timing of my visit, so I was lucky in that regard too. The room I chose was small and comfy despite the winter cold outside. The facilities are decent enough for my daily use, and there is a family market very conveniently located 2 doors away (for those late night snacks) and several my basket/ family restaurants nearby if you're moving about in the day. A train station is situated just a short walk away for your daily commute if that is important (kitashinagawa station). The location in general has a lot of history and interesting spots to explore, perhaps one of the staff may offer a guided tour, if you're interested...? ;) Til next time! I wished I could have stayed longer at the guesthouse, and in Tokyo in general =,)

- Kai (10/5): - 真面目でフレンドリーなスタッフが多くてゲストをかけがえのない仲間として誠心誠意接することです。 沈黙もまた余韻になるような空間は初めてお目にかかりました。 内輪でベタベタするのではなく一見さんに疎外感を与えないように気遣いする部分が随所に見られた部分に好感を抱きました。 例えばゲストで相性の合いそうな人を繋げる・地元のオススメスポットを紹介する・時間帯が合いそうなイベントを紹介する・相手の関心事に興味を持って耳を傾けること。 これこそホスピタリティだなと思いました。 壁が薄くて生活音が丸聞こえであること・トイレが臭うこと・ベットがフワフワしすぎて熟睡できなかったこと・洗濯しようとするものの洗剤が置いていなかったこと・冬なのに毛布がなくて掛け布団だけでは寒くて暖房付けてやっと丁度よくなったことですね。 私は日常生活で接することのない人と交流することや東京で生活している感覚を掴むことが目的だったので目を瞑りましたが、アメニティや機密性を重視する人はビジネスホテルを勧めます。
