• JoséLuisCruz (8/5): entre casonas y palacios - Se trata de un hotel bien decorado sin recargar en una casona antigua, en pleno casco histórico, a un tiro de piedra de todo lo visitable en La Orotava, y con buena salida a los alrededores y a aparcamiento (parking público Lercaro). Una calle especialmente tranquila y silenciosa por la noche, con el croar de las ranas de la vecina hijuela del Jardín Botánico y los gallos al amanecer como únicos y benditos "ruidos". En la azotea una buena vista del Valle y del atardecer. El encargado muy amable. Desayuno centrado en la fruta, café excelente (Templo) y platos calientes hechos en la cocina sobre la marcha. Se echa en falta una sala de lectura o de esparcimiento, una zona común de relax.

Persoon aan deze balie super hulpvaardig toen we problemen hadden met een poging tot inbraak in onze huurauto (niet in de buurt van hotel). Upgrade naar grotere kamer gekregen zonder meerprijs. Super goed gelegen in het hartje van La Oratava. Niets opgevallen.

• Jane (6/5): - Hotel is in a good location for visiting Orotava and surrounding area. We had a suite which was comfortable. If you have time visit the Teide Visitor Centre in the town with good explanation and graphics on the formation of the volcano. Map from the tourist information office has other places in the town to visit. We stayed in this hotel before when it had a good restaurant which unfortunately is now closed and this seems to be coupled with a general downgrading of the hotel. I would rate it good as a bed and breakfast but not as a hotel. Reception only manned a few hours of the day, info about when not correct in the rooms, likewise info on wifi posted in the rooms not correct. One of the towels in our room very worn and with holes in it. Replaced quickly but would expect better from a hotel. Told the hotel would be having a major revamp starting in the next year, hopefully this will return it to its previous standing.

They kept our luggage after we checked out which was perfect as we were not leaving until later in the afternoon. Nothing everything was very good.

• yamazaki55 (9/5): Stay in a great hotel in a great town between the sea and the mountains. - Breakfast was nice, with a fresh cooked choice every morning, eg. fried eggs, bacon, or an omelette etc. Good coffee as well. We had one of the two rooms on the roof with a great view of the town and sea. There are sun loungers on the roof too. Staff were excellent including the owner who is very friendly and the hotel manager is great as well. The bed was very comfortable (room 130 I think) Wifi - its okay. Bathroom cabinet is big and you can store all your things in there. Check out the mad frog noises at night from the botanical gardens down the road! Town is great - not touristy and close to everything, eg Teide and coast etc. Great running/hiking trails in the area. We could have done with hooks to hang things from and more coat hangers. Also more than one plug socket by the bed so you can charge mobiles etc. Parking is difficult in the street but there is a free car park 10 mins walk away.

• Marlene (8/5): Gemütliches stilvolles Hotel in zentraler Lage - Ein sehr gemütliches Hotel,etwas altmodisch,aber mit Stil. Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist sehr gut. Das Prei/Leistungsverhältnis ist besonders wegen des inkludierten Frühstücks ausgezeichnet. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es eigentlich keine Restaurants für Abendessen.Die Parkplatzsituation ist sehr schlecht.Für beides ist aber nicht das Hotel verantwortlich.

De erg kleine badkamer was aan renovatie toe. Vloerbedekking in slaapkamer is versleten. Kamer is erg donker. Parkeren is een probleem.
• ELISABETH (4/5): Cadre superbe mais accueil nul - L’hôtel était superbe Pas d’accueil à 15h pour un hôtel 3 étoiles ! La femme de ménage nous dit de revenir à 18h. On se retrouve en face d’une personne complètement débordée entre l’arrivée des livraisons, le téléphone… On veut réserver pour le restaurant le soir. Pas de restauration. Il faut redescendre en ville. Et pour le petit déjeuner, pas possible avant 8h30 ! Alors qu’on devait être au Teide à 9h15. On demande le remboursement. Pas possible. Dans 15 mn, j’aurais un peu plus de temps pour vous faire choisir. On repart avec 2 pains, du beurre, 2 minuscules tranches de jambon et de fromage et on demande des gâteaux en plus. Et on remonte tout dans la chambre… Et au retour du restaurant, on trouve porte close. On n’a pas le code. Personne ne répond au téléphone. Heureusement une jeune anglaise arrive avec sa valise et le code de la porte d’entrée. Enfin!

• Luis (9/5): - Nuestra estancia en el Hotel Rural Victoria fue especial. El edificio, un precioso inmueble del siglo XVI, está completamente modernizado y ofrece todas las comodidades sin perder su encanto histórico. La habitación era amplia y luminosa, con un baño en suite igualmente completo. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio y, como detalle inolvidable, desde la ventana se veía el Teide en todo su esplendor. El personal fue encantador tanto en el check‑in como durante el desayuno (incluido en la estancia). Nos facilitaron varios planos y recomendaciones muy útiles para disfrutar de La Orotava y sus alrededores. Además, el hotel cuenta con una terraza espectacular en la azotea, perfecta para observar las estrellas. Fue una experiencia preciosa y muy tranquila. Aunque dispone de algunas plazas reservadas para huéspedes justo en la entrada, aparcar en los alrededores tampoco supuso ningún problema. Como aspectos a mejorar, la ducha era amplia pero la mampara se veía algo antigua. También nos quedamos con ganas de probar el restaurante, que estaba cerrado la noche de nuestra llegada.

L'emplacement dans la vieille ville rend un peu plus compliqué l'approche en voiture mais les clients peuvent se garer devant l'hotel s'il y a des places, sinon parking pas loin.
