- Magdalena (10/5): - The location is perfect, around 3min from metro station (Jongno 5-ga station), close to Gwangjang Market (5-6min). Very helpful and friendly stuff. Great view from rooftop. Quiet and safe neighberhood. Near Hostel is grocery shop open 24/7. I was second time in OYO Hostel, and I recommend it :)

- JEN-HUNG (10/5): 因為員工所以還是很開心 - 員工非常親切，住宿點很好離地鐵巴士都很近 訂的是4人房上下舖，第一次訂上下舖很後悔，不管上舖或下舖只要一點點動作聲音就很大……因為不是穩固的那種床舖，4個晚上都沒睡好，浴室水量很小水溫也不太穩定，很可惜

- Daria (8/5): Оцінюю високо, повернулась би ще - Гарне розташування біля станції метра. Недалеко до Кьонбоккун Палацу, 30 хв пішки. Зручні ліжка, є кондиціонер. Небагато місця, але це не було проблемою. Наявність сніданку, не шумно. Є тераса на 5 поверсі, де можна посидіти навіть посеред ночі Вікно не відкривається, і доволі високо, через це доволі душно. На сніданку дуже не вистачало йогурту, але все інше без проблем. Відсутність ліфта, що доволі ускладнює ситуацію для подорожей з валізами. Якщо плануєте замовити прання: майте на увазі що перуть речі без речовин до прання, лише водою.

Everything was clean and the facilities were great. Would very happily stay here again. The room was small, and the bed was very hard, and the air con wasn’t functioning but, we made it work.

- Thomas (10/5): Comfortable, Economical, and Hospitable Stay - Our stay at Oyo Dongdaemun 1 was very pleasant! Staff was very hospitable and kind. On the day of our check-out, I wanted to pay for late-check out, however the receptionist (Haesa/해사) kindly waived our fee as we notfied them early enough. Our stay at Oyo Dongdaemun 1 will almost be a great memory from our first trip to Korea. We found the room a bit warm, but other than that there were no other complaints!

I found it relatively easily with the clear and concise directions that they gave. And when I got there, I was helped to bring my heavy bag all the way to my room. The bathroom, WiFi and breakfast facilities were everything you would need and more actually. Thank you so much!

- Yamaguchi (9/5): またソウルに行く際は、是非利用したいです！ - 朝食がしっかり食べることができ、屋上からの眺めも良かった。ゲストハウスにしては、とても静かだった。共有スペース等も静かだった。家族で同じ部屋を利用したので、ドミトリーの感じはわからないが十分なスペースがあった。スタッフの対応がとても良かった。雨の日も、使える傘があって助かりました。あと、連泊でもタオル交換あり、簡易清掃ありでゲストハウス以上のクオリティでした、ありがとうございました。 ベットが鉄パイプタイプで、上下にねてるひとは、どちらかが動くたびにベットが動いてしまっていた。(家族同士ならまだ大丈夫だが。) 建物に固定すれば、ある程度安定すると思います。階数が5階まであり、エレベーターはないので、上の階の人で大きな荷物があれば大変かも知れない。おそらく予約の時に知れるのでは

They also recommended some really good places to visit. Regarding the room, the underfloor heating was wonderful. The bunk beds were uncomfortable and the mattresses were hard. There was a peculiar smell in the bathroom. I suspect that there may be a smell issue with the pipes.

- douu (10/5): - Le personnel est très sympathique, souriant, présent, réactif au moindre souci (problème de valises perdues et livrées en notre absence par l'aéroport, température du chauffage au sol) et de bon conseil. Nous avons suivi plusieurs de leurs recommandations de restaurants et nous avons très bien mangé ! La chambre est propre, suffisamment spacieuse pour l'utilisation qui en est faite, idéalement placée (on peut faire beaucoup de choses à pied, métro à proximité). Nous avons apprécié le petit déjeuner proposé le matin. La température de l'eau dans la douche est parfois capricieuse, mais rien de bien grave.

Las habitaciones son MUY pequeñas. Nosotros solo estuvimos 3 noches pero se nos hacia muy complicado poder abrir las maletas en la habitación.

Super lokalizacja, bliziutko do metra i w dzielnicy gdzie też sporo się dzieje i jest gdzie się przejść (nocny rynek, markety, muzea, etc.) Miejsce reklamowało się dostępem do Netflixa, ale ten dostępny był tylko po Koreańsku 😅 Byłam tam tylko jedna noc i nie mam się do czego przyczepić.

- 郁婷 (7/5): 離地鐵站很近、機場巴士可抵達，服務人員態度親切且友善 - 2025/10/31-11/2入住兩晚 1. 離鐘路5街地鐵站非常近，走路3分鐘就到了，仁川機場巴士搭6002號線到鐘路6街下車後過馬路就可抵達，交通位置便利 2. 櫃檯入住跟退房都有給小餅乾，很貼心 3. 我跟朋友各訂一間雙床房，想要有自己的空間，整體比想像中舒適 4. 五樓有露台，很像韓劇會出現的場景，很漂亮 5. 早餐在五樓，提供簡單的吐司、咖啡，用餐後自助洗碗及歸位 6. 可免費寄放行李在二樓櫃檯旁走道 1. 隔音非常不好，我整晚聽到特別旅客收行李的聲音、朋友是聽到他隔壁間男生咳嗽的聲音，我們這兩晚睡得非常差 2. 床很軟，習慣睡硬床的人應該會腰痠背痛，但整體還算舒適 3. 廁所內沒插座，房間化妝鏡前也沒插座，對要吹頭髮、用離子夾做造型的女生來說有點不便，我是坐在床上用平板自拍鏡頭照著吹的 4. 位置在小巷內，如同其他評論說的，算是紅燈區，女生單獨行走時盡量繞大馬路，但入住兩晚都沒遇到怪人，安全性比我想像中的好 5. 我們房間位於二樓，要吃早餐或外帶東西回來分著吃的話需爬到五樓，距離很遙遠，樓梯爬得蠻累的 6. 房卡只有一張，房門又是會自動關上的那種，一旦離開房間就必須拔掉房卡（冷氣就會停掉），稍微不方便 7. 住宿沒有電梯，我們扛28吋行李箱有點辛苦，還好只住2樓，如果高樓層的話需三思 8. 五樓雖然是公共空間，但還有兩間客房，想在那聊天吃宵夜的話蠻不方便的 9. 為了看金碩珍演唱會去首爾，住宿都被訂光了，這間平時價格很便宜，但這兩天的房價高到不符合房間CP值（兩晚約5700$台幣/間），平日來住應該會划算一點

- Gabor (10/5): - 호스텔은 주요 관광 명소와 가까워 위치가 아주 좋습니다. 방은 깨끗했고 침대도 매우 편안했습니다. 조식은 숙박 요금에 포함되어 있었는데, 조식 공간 옆 발코니에서 멋진 도시 전망을 감상할 수 있었습니다. 리셉션 직원분들도 매우 친절했습니다. 정말 좋은 호스텔이에요. 강력 추천합니다 😊 가보르

- Gloria (6/5): Good stay, great staff, clean accomm. - The staff were great! Very friendly and helpful. The location was fairly central. And close to the PyeongHwa Markets. You could also walk along the Cheonggaechon Stream which was lovely at dusk. The breakfast was simple but very convenient when you don't want to head out first thing in the morning. Toast, cereal, milk, juice, and coffee. I didn't like the alley that it was located on. There were not many lights and the alleyway seemed a bit dirty and dodgy. There was a singing room next door which looked a bit sketchy. I'm sure it pretty harmless but still...as I was travelling with my teenager (mum and teen), I didn't feel particularly safe heading out at night. We got back pretty early most evenings to just chill in the room at night. The Myeongdong one did not feel like this at all as there were many shops, other accomm and other tourists nearby.

- celine (10/5): Excellente adresse - Le rapport qualité prix imbattable. À proximité des transports : métro à 2mn à pied, bus à 5mn à pied. La possibilité de faire laver ses vêtements. L’extrême gentillesse du personnel. Malgré quelques commentaires négatifs sur le petit déjeuner, celui ci est très satisfaisant : café, pain de mie que nous pouvons faire griller, thé, confiture, pâte à tartiner aux noisettes et beurre de cacahouète. Le rooftop. La climatisation dans la chambre. Pour un établissement classé comme auberge de jeunesse, c’est très bien. Dans l’établissement : rien du tout. Seule chose à signaler : la rue de l’hôtel qui n’est pas très accueillante au premier regard. Mais aucun problème à signaler durant les 15 jours où nous sommes restés à Séoul. D’autant plus que j’ai emprunté cette rue à 5h du matin, un dimanche. Rien à signaler.
