Guest Reviews
- liahelenlia (10/5): Nice hotel in the city center - Clean, up-to-date, and spacious room. The hotel is located in the city center with easy access to shopping areas and malls nearby.
The service was also very good 😊
- Wild_World_Traveller (6/5): Adequate, but aging........... - Good central location, without be too noisy. It is an old building that has obviously had partial renovations. Rooms had some new fittings, and some tired and worn parts. Hot water can take up to 10 minutes to arrive at room - but then ok. Buffet breakfast was very good. Front office staff quite helpful. The "privately" run spa is very porly kept - cockroaches crawling around floor during massage !! and Spa staff had attitude problems. Definitely more a value hotel , than quality.
- Raghavendra (10/5): - Good
- desmond (4/5): - Beer is a bit expensive
No hair dryer
- Raymond Joseph (6/5): - Very average
- ilGiangy (6/5): Medium - It’s a high tower divided into residential area and hotel area, essential services, kind staff, ample room needed some improvement.
Location: spacious, well-kept and clean lobby, the other common areas have some neglect, small swimming pool, really smelly and very neglected gym. Spacious and clean rooms, bathroom maybe a little small.
Food: The quality and variety is not bad at all, I really appreciated the breakfast buffet with different choices, the restaurant for lunch so and so.
Staff: very kind and friendly, always available, very good service
Price: is a very good option in Batam
Consideration: The area is not the best to walk around the island, however the taxi is extremely very cheap.
PS
The only strange thing was the deposit IN CASH for which they do not accept any credit card and until you give the deposit they will kindly ask you to hold your passport by the way an ATM is on the the ground floor near the parking area
- MichelleK4178 (2/5): worst than 2 stars hotel - horrible hotel, worst than 2 stars. wont go back for free.
-lift will drop 2-3 levels when going down
-toilet flush not strong, have to wait for 2-3 mins before the 2nd flush
-when you flush the toilet, you cant shower cos the water will be boiling hot
-no electrical plug beside bed, the whole room only have 3 sockets and 1 of them is in toilet which is useless
-no hair dryer, even if provided, its not workable
-wifi is weak, keep disconnecting
-tv not working
-aircon remote not working
- NEO JIA AN (6/5): - abit far from shopping centre
- Perry (6/5): - Hotel is convenient to Nagoya Shopping Centre (5-10 min walk. Room was clean. Was very frustrated with the poor internet as had to log in again almost every time I wanted to use it. Satellite TV was limited to what I was expecting.
Only two elevators and at times had to wait for long periods of time to use. Limited breakfast, compared to other hotels. All in all, o.k. but not sure if want to use again.
- Rockstones (2/5): Disappointing Stay - My stay at the hotel was disappointing... The shower had a slow flow with little water, and it took about 5 minutes for the hot water to warm up. The cupboard door was malfunctioning, and I'm not sure if the room was properly cleaned before our arrival. The phone didn't work, and there was noise from upstairs in the early morning for a short period of time, indicating poor soundproofing. Additionally, the WiFi was extremely weak
- lolok963 (2/5): Worst Hotel in Batam - The mini bar in the room is super hot inside instead of cold, the egg station at breakfast keeps giving first to the queue cutters. Truly terrible service. The only good point is the front desk, where everyone is well trained.
- ZAW MAUNG (6/5): - Wifi is not stable connection
- Auritot (6/5): Cheap Hotel Stay with Minor Issues - Overall, it is a good and cheap stay if you are planning for a night or two. I booked three deluxe rooms for myself and my friends during our vacation. However, upon entering the room, we realized that the door didn't have the usual hotel triple lock feature due to a spoiled door guard or a malfunctioning lock, which resulted in only two locks for redundancy. Despite booking a non-smoking room, we noticed a minor cigarette smell as we entered, and the desk and mini fridge cabinet had drink stains and cigarette burns on top. One of my friend's room had a faulty water heater, that can release water temperature equivalent to a hot spring, even though the handle was on the cooler side. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Nagoya Hill Mall, which is a large mall where anything can be purchased. Despite these small issues, we still had a pretty decent stay.
- HafizT2 (2/5): My first & The last - Run-down and dirty room condition. Old linen.
Facilities adequate. Rude security. Housekeeping >20 minutes slow service. Scary hotel policy eg No durian allowed or else be fined up to 15 millions rupiah. Crazy HAHA!
Breakfast was simple and good service.
Receptionists was polite.
5 minutes ride to Nagoya Hill Mall.
Unfortunately not best-valued place to stay.
- kyawkthi96 (2/5): Bad Experience - My family and I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Reached the hotel at the check-in time of 3 pm, was informed the room was not ready, they only have smoking rooms for us, and told us that we need to wait an hour more for our non-smoking room. It was nothing like the photos on the websites, the rooms were run down, the cups were not cleaned properly, and the towels were dirty. We were locked out of our room twice because of the door card reader battery (took them a long time to come up and change it for us, the last one they didn't even bother changing or coming up, just gave us a key instead).
- Didier (6/5): - pre arrival sent email to confirm all 6 rooms on same floor. Confirmation email sent to us. But they couldn’t give us sane floor rooms upon checkin. Very very inconvenient. Toiletries not topped up, no coffee cups no glasses. Toilet flush leaked, had to change rooms in middle of meeting !!!!
- Didier (6/5): - air con not cold, in room safe can’t be used, reminded twice but nothing was done. No menu in room, didn’t bring even after reminded twice. mediocre breakfast
- Burhan (4/5): - 1. Staff availability answering phone call
2. Request as per booking not fulfill.
(Example: we wanted for queen bed but when arrived,
no more available)
3. Aircon not cool.
4. Our room near to the lift, it was very noisy when the
brake catches or release.
- Mohd Jasman (2/5): Poor facilities - Very poor in services. Poor facilities. Dirty room. No utensil. No tooth paste. Noisy by other room stayer . Not going to stay here anymore
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ok just average. Could be better
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good Location - Good Location
- Happiness36355321932 (10/5): FANTASTIC PLACE FOR COVID-19 SELF ISOLATION - We have been here now for 3 months and we love this hotel. The staff are fantastic. Our room is fantastic. Everyone is doing the right thing in terms if the virus. I am looking forward to the gym being re-opened because it is really good. The pool area is lovely. The location is perfect and very close to many malls.
- bluele0parddd (6/5): Reasonable Stay - I stayed here for 2 nights during CNY. The room is simple and modern. Not very different from photos. However, for a Singaporean POV, this is definitely a 2 star for me. I have no qualms because the aircon is working well... hot water works well... reasonably clean. It comes with breakfast with an egg station and some variety. Not too bad! I have stayed in Batam hotel where tap water is yellow so this is considered good!
- Barmawi (8/5): Great stay - Location is good. Clean and all staff are very friendly.
- adelinerevehsha (2/5): Very disappointing - I had already booked 2 rooms ,and staff took so Long to check in furthermore I feel that staff are unfriendly to international guest ,this is unfair as we also had booked but they only attend to local more ,I really hope they improve their service.
My dad is on wheelchair and did not even bother to stepped up the process or make sure my dad is comfortable In the room this is a very bad service
- Frust1988 (2/5): Dirty linens and towels! - Stayed here from 26-27 Jan 2020. On the map, the hotel might seem near the Nagoya Mall but no, there are no walkways or paths you can walk to the Mall (unless you want to walk by the roadside which is dangerous). We got the top floor at Tower B which is quite a distance from the reception at Tower A. The room was constantly noisy in the day and at night as we got the room beside the elevator. Hotel room was not carpeted but the corridor was carpeted which was weird. The cupboards were old and dusty. Furniture stained. Bed covers were stained. Toilet mat was stained. Towel was stained. Toilet tiles were stained. Cups were dirty as well. It was disgusting.
Tried to order room service at 11am. Initially ordered 4 items. Room service called back saying item 1 is not stock. Room service called again saying item 2 “is finished”. Room service called the 3rd time saying another item is no available. In the end we decided to cancel our whole order and ordered GoFood instead. Food pickup was really far due to the layout of the hotel.
Around the hotel, there are no convenience stores to buy drinks and snacks. Only have a 24hr pharmacy which is 3min walk from hotel. The room service’s low stock dies not help either.
Overall very disappointed and will NOT stay here again. The dirty linens and towels were the last straw for me.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Can't use grab app through hotel WiFi...
- jjjoana (6/5): Near Nagoya Hill Mall - We stayed here as we wanted to be close to Nagoya Hill Mall. It's not really a walkable distance to the Mall but at least we were not too far away from it. Lobby was a bit sad looking however checkin was fuss free.
We stayed in an apartment with 2 bedrooms. It was a very simple place for us to bunk in for a night.
The breakfast buffet in the morning was okay - nothing to rave for.
The hotel needs some refurbishing.
- Susanti_eng (2/5): Worst experience - Good Morning,
I booked 1 room for 2 nights at Nagoya Mansion Hotel, Batam from Agoda but pay at hotel. For 2 nights cost around Rupiah 1.200.000+. There was issue that i want to share and i hope Nagoya Mansion can improve
That day on 4th January i went to Nagoya Mansion Hotel Batam, Once i go to the parking, the first impression has already annoyed Me. The security was not helpful, i couldnt Find parking and they are not even suggesting where i should park. After i turn for few rounds, i found a parking near rubbish bin. I even have to push the bin so i can park my car properly. So I settled the parking by myself already.
Second, when we go to the lobby, there was no usher or any guard to help us bring our luggages. I mean, i paid that amount and dont even get that kind of basic service, at least help me bring my luggage. After we checked in, we were walking to our room, the corridor has some kind of smoking smell and the carpet looks so dusty. So we went in to our room, the seconds we walked in, it smelled like dust and I saw some parts of the shelves were not cleaned. Guess they just wipe the part where we can see it. So I went to the lobby and ask the front desk if we check out, can we get our money back? I understand if I can’t get full payment but at least 50% because I am not staying there at all. They only answered ‘cannot, because you book from Agoda, not from us. But i book from agoda and pay at hotel, they suppose to suggest any other option or at least they can ask me for the reason why I want to check out. But they did not ask, they only ask whether I want to check out or not. That’s it! So I don’t say much, I just say yes because they don’t even care about the service at all.
Worst experience and disappointment.
- cscgoh (2/5): Poor experience - - Non smoking rooms smelt like stale cigarette.
- Grey towels have seen whiter days
- Sheets smelt bad of cigarette
- Furnitures in non-smoking room have endured cigarette burns
- Room wasn’t ready despite late check in.
- Picture on booking site differs from reality by about 70%.
-10 mins walk to Nagoya shopping mall
- some breakfast dishes was cold and some was spoilt, bad breakfast experience
Pls lower your expectations of room if you stay here.
- LiewKM (4/5): - Family suddenly feel like going for a day getaway. We didnt manage to book the usual hotel, got this hotel last minute without looking other reviews .This will be the first and last time staying in this hotel : First room not ready when we came at 2plus deliberately, given only one card causing inconvenience, water bottles x2 ea provided , towels x 3 ea when we mentioned 4 guests. Not to mention the hot water took quite a while. luckily the staffs are polite and professional in service, beds are comfortable , 2 out of 3 air conditioning system work very well , shower s' water pressure ok, both TV working, swimming pool nice but cosy, location near nagoya shopping mall. We feel it is not really worthwhile in term of $.
- guderachel_ (6/5): Average stay. - Stayed in the executive suite for a night, and given a choice, will probably not come back here to stay again, unless I am extremely concerned about the location.
Hotel is near to Nagoya hill shopping mall, approx 5-7 mins by foot. However, the room was run down and dirty. When we arrived at 3pm, we were told that the room wasn’t even ready yet. When the receptionist finally gave us the room key, they didn’t mention much about breakfast, wifi information, which tower is the room in etc. They just expected you to figure it out yourself (I guess). However, at least they were quite friendly and polite and will answer to your queries.
The room was considered big, but it was quite dirty. The walls had stains on them, the bedsheets and pillow cases also had brown stains on them. The cushion cases and the sofa had stains as well. Room was quite poorly furnished, with many amenities missing. My room didn’t have a hairdryer, no soap for washing your hands either, and the shower cap looks like it has been placed there for a long time. The furnitures were all quite old and the fridge in my room was leaking water. There were limited charging ports in the room as well. The elevators took a Long time to come due to the vast amount of people using it (coming from the residential units & hotel guests). The breakfast provided was average, food tasted a bit weird and most of it were cold already.
However, the air conditioning in my room was working fine and cold enough. The staffs were also friendly, from the Receptionists to the hotel Chauffeur, Housekeeping staff & security guard.
If the hotel management improves on the housekeeping & maintenance aspect, I will strongly recommend this hotel.
- Sim (6/5): - Bath towels were old and pillow and bedsheets were stale.
- amirdece (4/5): Reasonable but got RATS in kitchen. - I am going to give my honest review for this place. We stayed here for one night only. Total of 8 Pax and booked 2 rooms.
Service was OK. Alighted with 8 bags and the lady at the Lobby’s front desk just looked and welcomed us, with this kind of rate I think it is understandable that the service isn’t the same as a 4/5 star hotel where there will be staffs helping you. Not an issue just take note.
Staffs were all very very polite and accomodating, one of then even helped me to keep the Layer cakes that arrived at the hotel early (before check in time).
Room was OK, quite clean and reasonable. I would say very nice and comfortable apartment for those travelling with family! View was Ok too! Inspected both rooms to find the living room toilet in both apartments had locking issues. Both cannot be locked because they are fault or was fixed using the wrong parts.
Called front desk and they sent their staffs up. He looked at the door and said they will come up again to replace the lock and will take a look at the other apartment. No one came up until we checked out. We didn’t really mind because there is another toilet in one of the rooms too. Would be an issue to others if doors have locking issues.
Was sitting in front of their “open” kitchen near the pool for about 2 hours and we spotted rats! Spotted rats running inside their kitchen. Wanted to report immediately but would be best if I have the proof so while talking I recorded the video and the next morning, I reported it to the front desk staffs and they told me to send those videos to their management. Did that and they acknowledged it. Was too disgusted to eat their cooked meals after seeing those big rats running around the kitchen in the middle of the night 😭🤮
Overall apartment is nice, comfortable and price is very reasonable with the kind of service and quality.
Those who are going, be careful with what you eat there :)
- yogozoe (6/5): Convenient location - Very convenient location. 10 mins drive from Harbour bay ferry terminal, 10 mins walk to Nagoya hill mall.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was less than satisfying though. Gym was a bit stuffy, probably because of the aircon wasn't working
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Check in was fast and efficient and staff was friendly, smiley and professional. Everything was clearly explained to me. Am happy with my choice. Location is convenient and near to Nagoya hills malls
- Mummywee12 (2/5): Sink fell on my 5 y.o. niece when she was brushing teeth; we got charged 50% deposit for the sink. - My 5 y.o. niece was brushing teeth when the entire sink slid and fell to the ground. Thankfully my niece moved away slightly and it hit her left ankle, leaving a bruise. When the engineer came, he said no pressure should be applied to the sink at all. Showing zero empathy as to what has happened & pushing the responsibility away when it is clearly their negligence of not doing a thorough check on their facilities.
Upon check out, we were told we need to pay 50% of the deposit paid because of the following reasons:
1) When we notify the receptions on the incident, we failed to mention that a kid was hurt. Hence it is not counted. We panicked & did not wish to pursue further, but who knows they charged us on the deposit.
2) Staff mentioned we should've checked the facilities. Who would check if a sink would slide out??
Wifi & cleanliness were not as bad as I have read on several travel review sites. But this sink incident was unimaginable.
- 901siak (2/5): Disappointing! - We choose this hotel by reading those good review from booking.com, but end up very disappointing. Room is very dusty, no hot water for bathing, no hairdryer, air con not cold, n some of the furniture is not in condition.
We have informed the operator regarding these issue, but after 30mins later still no one turn up to fix it, which make us very frustrated. We're not trying to be demanding but the fact is this is not the standard of a 4 stars hotel. Definitely will not come back again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Is Central in Nagoya and hotel is quite worth for the money paid, quiet and a reasonable good gym workout area.
- yyan98 (2/5): Disappointing - The hotel was not clean. Rooms has baby cockroaches. Towels were slightly yellowish. Bed was dusty. Aircon controller was not working as well. Breakfast was so-so.
The Hotel Spa- “Aaram Spa”, has really awful services. Went for a 1 hr body scrub and it ended in 40 mins; massage was more like a caress, no strength AT ALL. Massage was bad and the staffs were rude. Total waste of money.
However, the hotel front desk staffs were quite helpful in giving us directions for the places we wanted to visit. Overall, would not recommend this place.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was average. Front desk was not very friendly. Not very clean.
- Soni (4/5): - Infected with ants. Despite changing several rooms, all rooms had full of ants. Staff are not friendly. Air con not working properly.housekeeping does not top up shower gel and shampoo or change towel. For everything they will ask you to pay be it extra pillow or shower gel and etc
- Regina (4/5): - I ignore what other people say before i book the room but after i arrive there i do relaise the room was small, air con are leaking ,the toilet water are slow and dirty
Some staff are arrogant as they are when you ask what was wrong with the lift, instead of asnwering they choose to be pretending not to listen ..we up the stair case since we arrive until we chech out.
Anyway we book the big room with 2 bedroom, living room n kitchen but the room are not as fresh ,clean and good as i thought
- ALASDAIR (4/5): - In desperate need of a refurb. Room was tatty but the bed was comfortable enough. Bathroom was minuscule and the towels. would rip the skin from your back. Staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful. Buffet breakfast was very limited and the fruit was tired looking.
My room overlooked the nearby mosque and the soundproofing of the windows did nothing to stop the 4am wake up call from the Muezzin.
- Leela (2/5): - Horrible, we went for breakfast at 8.30am and there was ay food left. Made a complaint to the floor manager and she smile n said that breakfsst is till 11am. U can open the cafe the whole day but with out even cereal or even bread what u expect ur customers to eat?
- Singaporean (6/5): - Hotel too old. Staff is very helpful. Taxi promotion by hotel is good
- Wendy (2/5): Disappointed!!! 4 stars hotel??? - Very Bad service or no service at all! Informed the counter to change the Towel cos it was very smelly but didn't rec new towel. Called housekeeping or reception few times but no one picks up call.
Only given 1 room key, so inconvenience! I wonder how do they rate as 4 stars? Will not go back again even if for free!!!!
- Suhaimi (8/5): - It was a very wonderful stay even though just a night. The room is cosy, bed is fluffy, spacious, toilet is well maintained, have variety of food for breakfast, hotel staff are helpful. . Overall is nice. Will come back again my next trip here and will recommend friends.
- Inn (4/5): - Booking for 1 exclusive double bed but was given 2 single bed due to so many people. Toilet was smelly.
Breakfast request for half boil egg with the staff and she noted. We waited for our half boil egg and did not send to us. This is not the first time. The last time I went they did the same thing. We request from the staff and even ask me how many we want but never send to us. They never top up the food and drinks. The service was no good...
- Jennie (6/5): - The facilities look old and there are no proper maintainence on the facilities. Our toilet door is faulty and can't closed and air-conditioning is not cold in a bed room.
- Teck Kian (4/5): Bad Service Hotel - The room has crocroch, the water heater is slow, takes more than 5 minutes of running water before feeling warm water coming. Bath water splasing out of bath area as bad design. Air con remote not controling the AC, informed front desk personally and nothing was done...very bad service, food was lousy too...
- Verified traveler (8/5): Room Service - It would be great if the hotel provide free ice cube.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location is good. Near to Nagoya Hill shopping mall. However, housekeeping service should improve. I have requested for hair dryer but it took about 40 mins to send to my room. Concierge service was excellent. The staff recommended us a few places for dinner and massage. Hotel taxi service is having 50% promotion. Superb worth!
- Verified traveler (8/5): SMELLY OLD TOWELS - The only thing i didn't like about this hotel are their very old smelly towels. I mean really old and smelly you wouldn't even use it as FLOOR bath towel. We had to use our clothes to wipe us dry after shower and had to go to a salon to wash our hair instead. Room is ok but bring your own towel if you decide to stay in the hotel
- Verified traveler (8/5): Worth the stay - For the price we pay, food is considered very good already. Bed is comfortable to sleep. 2 pillows provided which is important to me because i can't sleep with 1 pillow. Walking distant to Nagoya Hill shopping centre. However, we booked for double bed but no double bed available and given 2 single beds. Beside the building, there is a pharmacy. Opposite the building, there are food stalls which is cheap and good food.Free dropped off provided from 4 pm to the 3 shopping centre. Overall, still would recommend to stay.
- Kelly (8/5): Relax and Pleasant - Hotel are nearby all the shopping mall and seafood restaurant
- saharom (8/5): Okok - Only the shopping mall is mcuh away from the hotel.
- Crystal (8/5): - very nice and professional staff , gym is nice , but the pool was too small !
- Jacky (8/5): Decent hotel - Bed is very comfortable. Area is very close to city but not walking accesible. Breakfast was pretty much plain and simple. Price is cheap. Room view not to expect much. Room facilities is below average. Overall, still a pleasant stay.
- alee (10/5): Great hotel - Choose non smoking room but end up get smoking room but we had no problem with it. Only that the room toilet water temperature is mostly too hot, and if change to cold, the water pressure is lesser. And saw afew cockroaches in the room. Other than that its a great stay without the renovation.
- Randell (2/5): Run down and uncaring staff - Nahoya Mansion, Batam, Indonesia.....Yeah, should not have believed the reviews....Come to find out they were made by "Local Guides", not by people who have actually stayed at the hotel. This place is horrible! Checked into our 2br suite....curtains/blinds broken, one bathroom had no drain in the shower and the drain it drained to was blocked flooding the bathroom, also had a gap over the window big enough to place you hand in ALL the way to the outside of the building. The second bathroom had no shower curtain so water splashed all over the floor, water leaking from the ceiling, and there was absolutely no water pressure in either bathroom! The plugs for the appliances we're different from the wall sockets...had to call down and have adapters brought to room, and in general...the room was just in bad disrepair. What made it worse was the staff really doesn't care...As I was explaining what was wrong with the room, The manager just smiled/giggled and gave a very insinsire apology, never taking what was wrong with her hotel seriously.
So, after discussing the issues with the manager on duty (the GM and Assistant GM were not located on site) The hotel offer an identical room.....all the way down to the exact same issues of the first room, including the gap over the window where I could stick my hand outside! Yeah, Seriously! They have refused to move us to another hotel and refused a refund or any type of compensation.
- Isna (2/5): - Unsatisfactory. The room was dirty. Staff were unhelpful, inflexible and unwilling to help. No attentiveness nor service recovery even after I’ve voiced out my utter disappointment.
- Hui Min (4/5): Not so good - The hotel was older than expected. Towels had a funny smell and the room was dusty. Location is inaccessible and food options in the hotel was bad. General service quality received could be better. We were mostly ignored when we asked for something or called to request for extra toiletries. The only exception is this one lady who could speak various languages. She made it a point to make sure we get our eggs at breakfast and enjoyed our meal.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A good hotel with cleanliness and feels like home.
I will recommend this hotel to friends and families.
- Alicia (8/5): Review - Staff was amazingly friendly! Stayed in the 2 room suite and it was a lot bigger than I expected. It was more like an apartment. The room clean with all the basic amenities. The air con is not central so you can adjust it to your preference, only bad point is the the electricity shuts off if you don’t leave the room key in a slot and the room takes a while to cool down and is quite stuffy till it does. They are quite strict about check out, anything after 1pm is auto charged S$35 (but then you have the room till 5pm which is quite affordable.) The location is not the most ideal though, the mall is close by but not walkable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good stay - Very nice experience staying in the hotel. Clean and confortable. The hotel share the same facilities with the residence. Just be aware that people there are very hostile towards grab driver.
- Matt (4/5): Booked by mistake - Staff on reception were extremely slow to book us in first denying they had our booking. The corridors were scruffy. The room was old. We realised we had booked the wrong hotel at that point and immediately asked for a refund for our two nights or at least the second night. We were refused. We moved to the Nagoya Hills Hotel down the road - the hotel we thought we’d booked - which was almost the same price and absolutely faultless and in a better location.
- Frank (8/5): Comfortable Hotel within Nagoya Hill - Overall Hotel Stay was pleasant and comfortable.
5mins walking distance to shopping centre.
- LAWRENCE (4/5): bad location, bad experience - if you are expecting that this hotel is just beside or opp Nagoya shopping mall, nope is not.
you need to take at least 5-10min taxi ride which cost around 30-50k rph. by walking the route is not that convenient as well. manage to check in slightly early than 2pm, leave my luggage at concierge and ended up the bag got few scratches.
- jeff (10/5): best choice to stay in Batam. - the staff is 5 star and go out of there way to serve you the facilities are great and very clean the laundry service is 5 start and will have you stuff back the same day if you get it to them in the morning. the wifi is hard to connect but once connected it is fast and works great. the beds are too hard and could be changed but no springs or nothing like that sticking you in the back. the only improvement I could see is to add more selection with western foods to improve the menu. the room service is fast and 24 hours. Best place I have stayed in Batam its also close to shopping and restaurant's plus easy access to ferry terminal harbor bay which is quick to Singapore.
- Zahirah (10/5): Nagoya Mansion - Everything was great, the bath mats didn't look the cleanest but oh wells, it is just for your feet so I don't mind too much. Hate that getting a grab/uber there so hard tho. Overall, good stay .
- firo (2/5): No Gud location .. - Not so Gud location ..didn't worth for what we pay..very small Swimming pool as it is common for residences and hotel rooms....lobby is so stinky..not a comfortable stay for us .....The safety measures are good..
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Limited food variety
10 min walk to the nearest shopping mall but quite dangerous
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay! - Great stay..room was very comfortable..however need to walk besides bushes to the nearest eating area..
- alex (6/5): House keeping - Ask for toilet roll from 0900hrs till check out still not yet receive.....
- Low (10/5): Comfortable stay for a 3D2N leisure - Comfortable stay with nice bed. Need to walk 5min to get to the shopping mall. Enjoy watching HBO HD channel.
- zurah (10/5): Enjoy very much - Never expected the hotel up to my taste...the room was huge very clean n comfortable to stay.....the staff was very friendly n we manage to check in before 2....breakfast was very tasty n i enjoy it every single food of it......i should make a comeback
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good Services from all staff. Comfortable big bed. - Greeted with good service by staff.
Housekeeper, front desk and maintenance are prompt when requested for service,
- Marwan (8/5): Leisure fishing stay at batam - nice breakfast
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay but able to improve - 4 of us went and we were given an early check-in even though the standard check-in time was in the afternoon. Staff were very friendly as we were greeted by many of their staffs as we walked around the hotel. Rooms were good but the hotel was quite stingy on things like bottled water as we couldn't request for more. Food in the restaurant is edible but not fantastic. Breakfast buffet wasn't too good as well as refill was slow and food was nothing much special. What's more was that there weren't sufficient seats to cater to the large size of the hotel. So if you're looking for a clean and nice hotel to stay in you can come here but if you're looking for great food this is not the place to come to.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very good service and helpful staff. - Had a good time and only about 10 mins walk to the mall. However the water from water heater is not even warm. Stayed on the 20th floor with view of Singapore
- Bak (10/5): Good location - The hotel staffs is prompt to my request and the facilities is excellent..Great location in Nagoya..walking distance to my shopping & eating destinations
- MOHAMED (10/5): Best Hotel - It was a tremendous stay for me and my friends as this is the first time we are staying there. Hotel is equipped with all the things that i need. Furthermore, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Congrats to all the staff of Nagoya Mansion. Will visit again soon
- Mohd Frey Farid (8/5): Breakfast - Overall it was a good place to stay. Nice location. But only thing that's lack was the breakfast as more staffs are needed to smoothen the flow of the foods replenishment and all, Esp during neibouring country on long weekend holiday.
- Jordan (2/5): Poor room services - Poor services
- MOHAMED (10/5): Wonderful Experience - It was a marvelous stay for me and my friends as this is our first time staying in this hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and what makes me please is that they even manage to get the room that i requested. What i can say is that the hotel is equip with everything that i wanted. Congrats to all the staff of Nagoya Mansion..
- SABBY (10/5): Great - Very nice
- Seman (6/5): - Friendly staff. Room's had bad odor due to dirty linens.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasant Stay - Pleasant stay with family of 4 with 2 young kids
- thomas (4/5): Almost closed the city but to much traffic - I stay 2 days in the hotel , the first day still accepted , but 2nd day I got the room toilet door was not able to closed properly , AC is not coolest enough , and for my friend room asking for extra cabin key , employed said not available as his girlfriend want to go out to other place ,so could not have her own key back to her room, and need to go reception again . And only have small swimming want to rate 4 star facility is so disappointed to me . Please Expedia checked your ownself thank you
- Wen Yu (6/5): Far from good - This hotel is a far cry from how wonderful it was in 2013. I guess the high occupancy rate has generated wear and tear significantly within a mere 2 years.
Bathroom leaks water like mad, no shower door to close. Towels stank!
We paid extra to book a non-smoking room with city view which they forgot to reserve. Compromised with a smoking room with a VERY limited view, facing the hotel pool and a forest (We were there for fireworks by the way). Had to stretch our necks to watch them. Not very pleased with this. The ventilator is shared by other rooms, so even if we didn't smoke, you will smell smoke.
Decided against swimming because the hotel staffs often had friends sitting together with them by the pool and smoking away.
I thought my 2nd visit would be awesome, but I ended up disappointed. So was my partner.
- Poh Tin (8/5): Family trip to batam - Quite happy with the room except a bit far to Nagoya Hill shopping mall
- Poh Tin (8/5): Family trip to batam - Price are good and reception is friendly.
- lily (2/5): Hotel with pungent urine smell - I stayed in the business two bedroom apartment for one night. The room is very spacious, with two rooms, living room and a kitchen. Room is spacious, and fully equipped. The night stay was fine. However, when we woke up the next day, the living room was filled with pungent urine smell (imagine a public toilet with multiple unflushed units). It is unbearable, we weren't able to stay in the unit much longer and checked out as fast as we could. We believe that the smell came from the hotel ventilation system, but did not bother ( nor interested) to find out more. If you want to experience staying overnight in a pungent public toilet, this would be the place to go to. Otherwise, you should look elsewhere.
- Angela (6/5): Hotel is faraway from town - Hotel is too faraway from BCS and not so near to Nagoya Hills shopping, still need to take taxi. Hotel staffs & hotel driver are all very helpful and friendly. Hotel rooms are clean and airconditioner temp are adjustable.
Overall stay is quite happy but swimming pool is too small and near to dining area.
Breakfast has not much variety of food but was happy that there are vegetarian food available. If you're a light sleeper dont take the room facing cityview in tower A as mosque chanting starts early morning.
- TENG TENG (6/5): Location not ideal - Location wise not very ideal, nearly not possible to reach the mall by foot despite it is not very far away as shown on map. Breakfast served is either too bland or over-cooked. Decent rooms and price though.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and comfort hotel - Nice and comfort hotel and within walking distance to shopping mall
- roger (8/5): - Average can improve
- Not Provided (2/5): Never Ever coming back!! - The worst hotel experience ever. From the service to the food to the spa to the rooms. Will be my families first and definitely the last time staying there.
