• Andrei (10/5): С удовольствие приеду еще раз - Отличный отель по соотношению цены и качества. Я жил в улучшенном номере. Отель находится на первой линии, вход в море хороший, без камней, глубина появляется не далеко от берега - можно очень хорошо плавать. С отелем граничит ресторан с хорошими завтраками (с 7:30) и обедами. До ближайшего круглосуточного 7-11 три минуты пешком, есть массаж у отеля на пляже и прямо у входа. Можно взять скутер а аренду прямо в отеле.

Right next to shops and restaurants, excellent beach bars Bed was very uncomfortable and I couldn’t use the pillows, too high, woke up with stiff neck. My key broke in the lock ( out of reception hours 8am / 5pm) no info to say who to contact when there was an issue out of hours, eventually found someone who spent over an hour trying to fix it and in the end gave me keys to another room for the night ( all I had on me was my beach bag) and a new lock ( which it needed as I had issues with it all week) was replaced in the morning

Cleaning staff to an amazing job, including lovely towel design with a fresh flower. Bad WiFi so difficult to do work calls. Low water pressure in the shower.

• Irina (10/5): - Sehr schönes, gemütliches und ruhiges Hotel direkt am Strand. Alles war sauber und angenehm, ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Einziger Minuspunkt: die Liegen am Strand sind alt und die Auflagen schon kaputt. Ansonsten absolut empfehlenswert – ich würde sehr gerne wiederkommen!

• Marlène (8/5): Sur la plage et calme - Super proche de la plage, au calme malgré que ma chambre était proche de la rue, et aussi localisé sur le coin le plus calme de la plage. La présence d'un balcon pour faire sécher ses affaires de plage et prendre son café le matin. Le ménage était super bien fait, avec même les serviettes repliées comme le premier jour tous les jours. J'ai pu accéder à la chambre avant l'heure officielle du check-in et profiter de mes vacances tout de suite :D Il y a une surcharge si on ne paye pas en cash, or je n'avais pas prévu le coup.

• MORIO (10/5): Super rapport qualité prix - Super hôtel idéalement situé, avec la piscine donnant vue sur la mer...pour une fois, l'hôtel était plus beau en vrai qu'en photo. La piscine paraissait petite sur les photos mais elle était très bien 👍 la literie c'était top ce qui n'est pas gagné en Thaïlande et la chambre était grande avec des rideaux bien occultant. Tout était parfait 😍

I bungalow sono veramente belli e sul viale che conduce alla spiaggia. Gli alloggi nella struttura principale sono nella media. Per poche decine di euro conviene fare l'upgrade La tenda nel bagno potrebbe essere sistemata meglio, si allaga tutto ogni volta che si fa la doccia. Mancanza di comodini e prese della corrente affianco al letto e sulla scrivania, così da poter utilizzare il bollitore solo in bagno. Piccole cose migliorabili

• Iris (9/5): Affordable with great location - The location, a 5 minute easy walk to the beach is really good. I had a little terrace, which was nice. The rooms in the main hotel (not the cabins) are very dark and out-dated, but reasonable for the price I paid.

• Anonymous (10/5): A hidden Gem - The Hotel is literally less than a minute to the beach where there are lounge chairs and umbrellas set up for your use. TT at the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful, rooms were cleaned daily. The room had a balcony with chairs and a table. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable. Literally everything you need, laundry, food (some of the best food in Samui) fun was within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel. It is a hidden gem. I will go back.

• Sumei (9/5): Lovely stay in Lamai - The location in Lamai was excellent. It is close to good restaurants, shops and has easy beach access. The beach was also very clean and they cleaned the pool daily. We booked 2 rooms and the one room was in the reception wing and the other in an adjacent wing. Both were nice. The water pressure in block C was not very strong but that did not bother us. It was great that there were kettles and bar fridges. The cleaning ladies folded our towels differently every day with a hibiscus flower. Such a nice touch. The wardrobes were large which is another bonus for me. Although other reviews stated the bad condition that the pool and beach lounges were, we found that it was okay. It will be great if the hotel replaces that. Communication with the receptionist was very effective. Their working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00. We booked in just before 17:00 and the lady was very friendly. If you want to have a quiet island experience that will not be the hotel for you. My reason is that there are lots of shops around the premises. It is really a busy street. We did not hear the cars though. It might be difficult for elderly people to carry their bags 2 or 3 flights up if their room is on the 3rd floor.

• Agnieszka (9/5): Perfect hotel for short and long stays - We liked the hotel's central location in Lamai Beach. You can reach Grandmother's and Grandfather's Rock with a short walk alongside the beach and enjoy further walk to Lamai Viewpont with a cable car and restaurant with spectacular coastal views. We liked the seclusion from the main street and quietness at night. On rainy days we appreciated the closeness of the restaurant, where we could have breakfast and buy some buns without getting wet. Hotel has the private beach access and free sunbeds/umbrellas what is a bonus. Rooms have big verandas with a table and 2 armchairs and balcony windows mosquito nets. A bungalow is spacious enough for 2 persons. You get 1 water bottle per person for free every day. Cleaning personnel is smiley, kind and does the job excellently and the receptionist is very responsive and communicative. We were able to park our rental car inside the property, what was very helpful as parking in the main street is almost impossible. There is a noisy refurbishment work on one of bungalows from 9 am-6 pm, but for guest active during the day it is not a big problem. A hotel beach bar was not open.
• Dominik (10/5): - Wir hatten einen Bungalow, der war recht großzügig und geräumig. Die Betten sind wie fast überall in Thailand recht hart, das Kissen war gut, wir haben gut geschlafen. Direkter Zugang zum Strand, Pool ist vorhanden. Es sind zu wenig Liegen am Pool und Strand vorhanden, die Auflagen der Liegen sind schon sehr alt und sollten erneuert werden. Schön bepflanzter Garten. Direkte Lage im Lamai Zentrum und trotzdem nachts leise, zumindest in den Bungalows. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal !!! Der Nachtportier, ein älterer Mann (der eigentlich im Ruhestand wäre) hat uns nachts um 1 Uhr den Ersatzschlüssel für unseren Bungalow in Rekordzeit besorgt (da wir den Bungalow-Schlüssel verloren hatten). Mit Übersetzungsapp klappte auch die Verständigung mit dem Nachtportier sehr gut. 5 Sterne für den Nachtportier. Dafür dass das Hotel nahe des Lamai Bar und Rotlichtbereichs liegt kann das Hotel nichts. Am Strand 300m vom Hotel entfernt kann man Jetski leihen, ich fand das Klasse. Den Lärm der Jetski (die nur weiter draußen fahren dürfen) hat man eh am ganzen Lamai-Strand. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten für Roller/Scooter.

• Ian (6/5): - Accommodation and especially villas were kept very clean. The housekeeping staff did a great job, fast and efficient and diligent. Areas that need improvement, is the beach front. Sun loungers were pretty filthy and broken. Certainly there were not enough loungers to cope with the amount of guests. Very poor beach front in comparison to other hotel / accommodation offerings. The staff are very warm and friendly. Be aware the reception is only covered from 8am until 5pm. So any issues outside these times need to wait until the next day.
• Jolanda (8/5): Good location at the quieter end of Lamai beach - Right by the beach, and very quiet with no loud bars nearby. The property needed more sunloungers, there weren't enough and some were quite broken. There wasn't any policing of the 'no towels' on sun lounger policy so even in early morning most were occupied by invisible people on their towels!
• Katie (7/5): Good value for money - We loved the location and the beach access from the bungalow! Unfortunately there were nowhere near enough sun-beds for the size of the hotel, and half of the sun beds on the beach were broken in half!

You must try “Will wait” the restaurant Our checkin was just giving us the keys this is really rare in Thailand we’re they gave you a very warm welcoming. -1Wifi doesn’t work well on D rooms. What I really do not understand is that people “reserve “ sun beds but they don’t use it more Than 1 hour per day, I know this is not hotel fault but they should do something cause there re enough for everyone. You can see the photo about 8/9am all empty just w towels.

The cabins have little sound protection, morning birds wake you up very early

Next door to Marina Beach Resort is a resort with similar name (Marina Villa’s) the resort we thought we had booked. I would say Marina Villa is slightly more modern but the large separate bungalow we ended up in made up for it🙂
• Jeff (6/5): Good location with okay facilities at an okay price - Good location (right on the beach and also the main road so you could get to places either route), good, cheap (<150 THB) local food nearby (Cafe Bamisi, Will Wait), 2 min walk to 7 Eleven, comfortable mattress and pillows, clean sheets, good housekeeping service, friendly staff. Weak air conditioner (had it on 16°C but it only ever got down to ~22°C), ants invaded my bathroom and got into my toiletries bag when I left it unzipped, ocean and views didn’t look good at all due to extreme haze from burning season (still going in mid-April), Lamai was pretty dirty and walking around you’d often get huge whiffs of sewage smell (not a deal-breaker but made it a little less pleasant).

It is right on the beach and easy to walk to bars and restaurants. There’s a small pool that is great to jump into to cool down. Excellent spot on Lamai.
