Fresh made to order eggs along with multiple types of breads and jams along with the best orange juice I've ever had, tea, and coffee. You won't need lunch afterwards! The mint tea was the best we had in Marrakesh. The riad host was great about giving recommendations. There's a rooftop bar/restaurant which serves wine and alcohol not far from the riad. We would have coordinated with the riad to hire a porter to help us with luggage to get to the riad - not an easy roll/walk from the taxi drop off area if you have suitcases. It's about a half mile through busy shopping (though we had a porter on the way back and it was PERFECTLY simple). We learned. The bathrooms had a pretty overpowering smell which comes with the territory. The cleaning staff did a great job of cleaning and we had all needed items.

It was a beautiful Riad in the middle of the old part of the city , amongst the souks . On arrival , we were made to feel very welcome immediately by Ismail , who gave us the best service I’ve ever had whilst abroad , and I’ve been to a lot of countries . We will definitely return , the hospitality was out of this world . All staff were pleasant , it was a well maintained , clean , traditional and had everything we needed for our stay . • Bianca (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in questo riad e l’esperienza è stata davvero bellissima. Il riad è stupendo, accogliente, un’oasi di pace in mezzo al caos della medina. Tutto è molto pulito e curato nei dettagli, ma la vera differenza l’ha fatta il direttore, Ismaîl. Fin dal nostro arrivo ci siamo sentite a casa. Già dal secondo giorno avevamo un’escursione molto presto e Ismaîl ci ha fatto trovare la colazione pronta fuori dall’orario previsto, un gesto che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo. Durante il soggiorno ci ha anche aiutato a prenotare all’ultimo momento due massaggi, trovando due massaggiatrici bravissime. Inoltre, la cena che abbiamo fatto nel riad è stata pazzesca, la migliore di tutti i giorni a Marrakech. Per concludere, avevamo il volo di ritorno alle 5 del mattino e Ismaîl si è occupato di organizzarci un transfer alle 3. Non solo: è venuto personalmente ad accompagnarci a piedi fino alla macchina, nel cuore della notte. Un’attenzione e una gentilezza davvero rare. Siamo rimaste davvero colpite dall’accoglienza e dall’ospitalità. Questo riad è come una grande casa, dove ci si sente ospiti e non clienti. E trovare persone come Ismaîl, che rendono l’esperienza indimenticabile, è la cosa più importante. Lo consigliamo senza esitazione ❤️

It has a lot more personality and charm than a standard hotel, and that's exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast was enjoyable and the staff were very accommodating and warm throughout our visit. For travellers wanting an authentic riad experience in the medina, this is a great choice. We left with really fond memories of the place and would recommend it to others seeking something with genuine character.

Fijn dakterras waar je fijn kunt ontbijten en heerlijk relaxen. Erg genoten. Als je met de taxi aankomt is het even zoeken in de medina waar de riad zich bevindt. Ik moet zeggen dat onze riad redelijk dicht bij de plaats lag waar we met de taxi afgezet werden. Het zou fijn zijn als je wegwijs gemaakt kan worden.

• Esther (8/5): Very convenient, would stay here again - Beautiful riad, great location, the breakfast was rich in variety and delicious, nice view in the terras, the shower was perfect after a long day of walking. There’s no key to the main door so you have to knock at any time to have the manager open, even in the middle of the night. Also the doors of the room have holes and you can hear everything outside.

The riad itself is located in a very good location - quiet and close to the souks. The breakfast was very tasty, and the beds were some of the most comfortable I have slept on in the last few years. Given that we missed the 3-day excursion to the Sahara, the team was very flexible in assisting us with absolutely everything so that we could enjoy our stay. In addition to helping us with the logistics of our luggage, they were also able to quickly provide us with a SIM card that worked perfectly. Whatever you need - just contact the team and it is 100% certain a solution will be found. I would like to thank the entire team for their warm welcome and if I come to Marrakech again - I would certainly visit this Riad.

Ismaël est d'une extreme gentillesse et bienveillance, nous avons pris notre premier dîner sur le rooftop, la cuisine de khadija est délicieuse et surtout très copieuse! Sans parler des petits dej! Le riad est très bien placé au calme et d'une propreté irréprochable! Nous n'hésiterons pas a revenir.

Tout petit bémol, pour la chambre qui donne dans les escaliers car on est dans le passage donc ça peut être parfois un petit peu bruyant avec les allers-retours des autres clients (pas toujours respectueux en terme de bruit).

The location was good, breakfast was great and tasty, the riad was absolutely beautiful and the room had the exact type of feel we were looking for our stay in Marrakech. To find the riad from the maze of medina can be a little confusing at first. We booked the airport transfer in hope to make it easier but the car can only get so far and then we were on our own. Some riads offer staff to guide you from the taxi drop-off point to the riad, that would have been helpful.

The bed was sumptuous, super comfortable with the best sheets and duvet. There were plugs, USB and USB-C on both sides of the bed. The room was large and super well designed with great lighting. The shower was hot and amazing and there were even robes in the bathroom. it was very centrally located in the medina and the staff was so kind and gracious. Even the breakfast was delicious and amazing! Highly recommended! Nothing. It was all superb.

De Riad ligt in hartje Medina. Bed is aan de harde kant. Maar dat troffen we overal in Marokko. Het is wel iets gehorig doordat onze kamer aan de straatkant zat. Hiervoor lagen oordopjes klaar.

• Dewa (10/5): Amazing - Our stay at Dar Alhambra Riad Medina was absolutely amazing. The riad is kept in a very traditional style, which gives you a truly unique and authentic experience of staying in the old city rather than a standard hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ismail. He greeted us with mint tea and delicious Moroccan cookies, which immediately made us feel at home. He then showed us our rooms and took the time to explain everything in detail, like where to go, where to eat, local expectations, how to get around, and even where to find high-quality organic Moroccan Argan oil. His advice was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was amazing - fresh, delicious, and something we really looked forward to each morning. On our last day, we had an early flight and needed to leave before the usual breakfast time (normally from 8:30 am). Despite this, Ismail kindly prepared breakfast for us at 7:00 am, which we truly appreciated. Everything about this place and the wonderful hosts was excellent. One thing future guests should know is that the riad is located in the old city, where cars cannot enter. You may need to carry your luggage for a short walk or hire someone with a cart for a small fee, which Ismail kindly organised for us both on arrival and departure. Also worth mentioning, though this has nothing to do with the hotel itself, is that the old city has narrow streets with many motorbikes passing through, which can sometimes feel a bit unsafe or annoying. It slightly dampens the medina experience, but again, this is not related to the hotel itself, which was excellent.

• Smith (10/5): Beautiful Riad with exceptional hospitality, definitely stay here! - We couldn't have had a better stay, everything from arrival to departure was absolutely wonderful! Greeted with mint tea when we first got there, shown to our gorgeous room which they had decorated with rose petals for my boyfriends birthday! The staff cannot do enough for you, saved lots of places to see and restaurants they recommended into my google maps so we knew where everything was, arranged us a guided tour of the souks with a local guide, and just generally made our stay magical. The Riad itself is truly beautiful, easy to find, and a peaceful escape from the craziness of Marrakech! Nothing, we had a brilliant stay.

• Thomas (9/5): Het was een heerlijk verblijf midden in de medina. - Ontbijt was rijkelijk met vriendelijk bediening, prachtig uitzicht en ontbijten in het zonnetje. Als een koning ontbijten! Niets was teveel voor onze gastheer. Kamers voldoende uitgerust.

• sarah (6/5): - Il ragazzo che ti accoglie in struttura, estremamente gentile Pulizia, nella camera c erano capelli per terra ed il lavandino era intasato. Abbiamo cenato in Riad alla sera.. due tajine di manzo e una bottiglietta piccola di acqua 50 dinari.. un po’ caro.
• Merja (9/5): - Erinomainen marokkolainen aamiainen kauniisti katettuna. Riadin sijainti keskellä medinan kauppakujia oli hyvä, mutta perille olisi ollut vaikea löytää ilman apua ja kun ei ole aikaisemmin vieraillut Marrakeshissa.
• Piet (9/5): Mooie riad met zeer lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt - Zeer lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel, goede ligging, prachtig dakterras Badkamer is aan een onderhoud toe, in de kamer aan de straatkant was er nogal veel lawaai van de straat te horen, de kamer aan de binnenkant was wel zeer stil maar daar was dan het nadeel dat er geen raam naar buiten was, toeristentaks moest contant betaald worden

• Sara (9/5): Gastvrije en sfeervolle riad op een toegankelijke locatie. - Ruimte, locatie en vriendelijk personeel. Alles was top.

• Yasser (10/5): Du vil ikke angre ved å velge dette stedet. - Skal du ha et sentralt sted og oppleve genuint Marokkansk kultur er dette stedet. Alt er i nærheten og du får kjenne på markedet og gamleby livet. Ismail og resten av de ansatt i hotellet var helt fantastiske og utrolig behjelpelige. Fra frokost, til beliggenhet, til trivsel, komfort, internett hyggelighet og mottaket. Skal du til Marrakech for første gang, er dette absolutt stedet å velge. Kanskje ikke så praktisk for små barn, men for par etter utsøkt sted Vanskelig å sette fingeren på hva som var så dårlig. Feilfri så å si.
