This place is very clean and you can not beat the price, 3 min walk to the beach , restaurants and more. Fellow travelers I advise renting a car . If you can not drive well , and I mean that , do not rent a car lol some roads can be “scary “ as the wife says but as a man I felt compeltly fine. Room was very very clean and really nice. Couldn’t beat the price tbh

- Brenda Lowe (10/5): - Pelagos Studios has a great location if you’re not wanting to stay amidst the hustle of Mykonos town. It’s conveniently located on a bus route and the rude to Mykonos town is about 15-20 minutes. The beach is a very short walk away, as are lots of dining options including coffee spots and a great gyro place. I really enjoyed my stay. The place was spotlessly clean with a great pool area also. Highly recommend!

At check in, the host helped explain the whole area to us including how to use the public transportation to access things like the main town, the beach, and various popular clubs. The room service was so helpful everyday and the hosts scheduled a ride to the airport for us for €35 and let us keep our bags at the front on the day of our checkout until our scheduled shuttle.

- David (10/5): wonderful - The apartment is in a great location, a block back from the beach. And Platos Gialos is a great location, we think the best of the beaches along this part of the coast, (perhaps matched by Ornos) - the beach is wonderful, some good cafes and restaurants, and bus to Mykanos Town (2 Euros each person each way, runs every 30 minutes, and every 15 minutes at busiest times). Taxis are few and far between, and extremely expensive. Uber is struggling to get in and is also v expensive. The pictures on Hotels.com shows different sized rooms, so can't vouch for them all. Ours was lovely, large, with a lovely large balcony looking out to the sea. Shower worked well. Self catering, with a well provided kitchenette. Reception is also a small convenience store with essentials for lunch, water, beer, and crisps! Clean, and cleaned every day. Pool area lovely - the pool is the perfect temperature, not too cold that it puts you off, and yet cool enough to cool down. Separate shower room to use once checked out but before a late flight. Busy, but not so busy it was ever difficult to get a sunbed. Wonderful family run place. Would recommend.

- Robert (10/5): - Pelagis is a family run establishment just a few metres from the beach. Their rooms are very comfortable and fairly priced compared to other hotels at Gealos Beach. The communication and help they offer is great. Arrival early was met with the offer of towels and somewhere to change before heading to the beach, or their own pool, before the room waS ready. They have a store on site. I've stayed here before, and will do again. Thanks

- Michael (10/5): - I give this family-run hotel my highest possible rating. It's located one minute walk from the beach and has its own convenience store. The room is large with a patio, chairs and umbrella overlooking the little harbour. Wifi is excellent , and it has a large fridge, sink and cooktop if you want to cook for yourself. The beach area has multiple high-quality sit-down restaurants, along with a baker and a souvlaki shop. The beach is excellent with paid lounge chairs and free sandy areas. When I come back to Mykonos, this is where I will stay again.

- Kim (6/5): Not For The Over 30's - Mykonos is not for the over 30's looking for a typical Greek Island holiday. It is very expensive,loud and mainly full of young people. Our hosts were very good and extremely helpful. However the shower and bathroom were very small. There was no microwave or toaster and few cooking utensils. Great pool and good location. Expect to pay 15 euro for one sun bed

- Robert (10/5): Great option - We arrived early due to taking the Fast Ferry. The property managers were very happy to store our luggage and give us towels to use at the pool or beach. They had a shower and toilet available prior to the room being vacated and cleaned. The Rooms were clean and tidy, and in our case, spacious and with an outlook to the beach. They are situated a very easy, short walk to the beach. There is a small onsite shop with most things available you would need. They will happily call taxis for you, or the bus is but a short walk away. The situation was very quiet at night, but very convenient to all the restaurants. We loved this location and were very happy with the property. They only downside at all might be the strength of the wifi signal. If you rely on working while on holidays, you might have to go onto the balcony. For me, I was glad to use the excuse for a detox. I look forward to staying again next year.

- Hannah (10/5): 4 nights - Had a great stay at Pelagos. Very modern compared to other places visited in Greece. The new pool is a great addition and was definitely a deciding factor for me upon booking. The owners were very helpful and couldn't have made us feel any more welcome. Beach is very nearby, bus stop a short walk away. reat to be away from the madness of Mykonos town, but close enough to visit.
- Anthony (10/5): Highly Recommend - Beautiful family run hotel. We were fortunate to get one of the newly renovated rooms, we tried one of the older rooms and it was nice too. Amazing value for money, we spent a lot of time on the balcony, naked 😉 as it is quite private. Very convenient to have a convenient store in the building open till late. We had breakfast every day on the balcony using the kitchenette, enjoying the wonderful water views, Applying suntan lotion before taking the three minute stroll to the beach, which had a choice of over 10 restaurants, with more affordable sun beds. 15 minutes walk to either Scorpios or Nammos .... which we did both. Highly recommend this hotel. We would come back here for sure. AnA
- RecentGuest (6/5): - Just two tiny bottles of body wash provided on day one and not replenished, and no soap supplied, either. Forced to pay a 10Euro deposit for a beach towel, and then had had to make a special request even to get a clean one provided each day. That might be OK at a budget hotel, but not at these prices... Dated decor, but clean, and a nice view and pool, though.

- lisa (10/5): Excellent value for money. - We stayed for 2 weeks at the end of the season and got upgraded after a few days as things were quietening down. We were very pleased with our sea view terrace. All in all a very good place to stay. Close to the sea and restaurants. Bus stop very close too and only 1 euro 80 to get into town. Cleaned and fresh towels every day. Would definitely stay again. Mykonos is beautiful but it is expensive so take plenty of euros and enjoy.

- Yasmin (10/5): Lovely apartment close to the beach - My boyfriend and I stayed at Pelagos Studios in September 2016. We were located on the top floor with our own private terrace and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room, which appeared to have been recently refurbished. Overall we had a lovely stay, with the beach and all of Platys Gialos's restaurants & bars located within easy walking distance. Definitely good value for money.
- Jay (8/5): Stock standard Hotel close to the beach - The hotel is a close walk to the best beach in Mykonos and has friendly helpful staff. However there were a couple of annoyances. The bottom level rooms have a bathroom that is too small. We were upgraded to the top level after a couple of nights and the bathroom was alot bigger but there are simple things like having to get up off the toilet to get to the toilet roll. I know its minor, but when your on holiday who wants to get up during a crap to get some paper. All rooms have 2 singles beds pushed together so the gap in the middle was a little annoying. The wifi throughout the hotel barely works as there is a lack of modem/ signal boosters and for the 5 nights I was there, I was online twice for only a few mins. The hotel has a shop which is very handy to buy alcohol and snacks and the balcony we had upstairs was a huge plus as it had sea views, also the kitchenette was handy. I would recommend but it wasn't amazing. Cheers.
- philip (8/5): nice studio - this hotel who is more like a studio was great, the little kitchen was not that equiped but was good. the location is so close to the beach and near the taxi boat so you go on every other beach on the island. we enjoyed our stay.
- thomas (10/5): Pelagos is wonderful. - The Pelagos is run by a friendly, charming, helpful, honest, reliable and responsive family of four. The price is well worth it. Location is great. They made us feel comfortable and taken care of. We were more than pleased with our accommodations. The wifi is spotty but it is like that all over the Island.

Once again great spot, clean apartment, friendly owners, beaches restaurants on your doorstep. Only criticism -pillows bit flat & mattresses hard. Other than that will probably return again next year.
- Damille (10/5): Beauty at its best! - My girlfriend and I had an amazing time in Mykonos and an even better time staying at the Pelagos studio, the pictures don't do the place any justice but I guess you know why. They don't want you expecting too much and getting disappointed but believe me when I say the location is perfect, the rooms are just what you need, whatever you need can be found around and all the good beaches and places to be are a quad bike away.

The only disappointing thing was that the wifi was horrible.... I could receive better wifi on the beach.... However the family at pelagos were helpful and made our stay a good one!

- Heidi (10/5): Lovely little studio apt in Platys Gialos, Mykonos - We took a week holiday in Mykonos to just relax, go to the beach and eat lovely Greek food near the seaside. We were so happy with our accomodation - location was great (only a 3 minute walk to the beach), walking distance to great restaurants and other beaches nearby, beautiful views of the ocean and most importantly it was super clean accomodation. We had fresh towels every day neatly folded on our beds. We had booked a studio apt on the veranda floor and loved having a fridge so we could put water and cold drinks. The little kitchen area has basic kitchen utensils if you choose to cook a meal but we opted to enjoy the wonderful selection of restaurants on the waterfront. - Sean (8/5): Nice place, friendly owners - Pelagos is a lovely hotel with a beautiful private balcony with an ocean view, and it is right next to Piatis Gialos Beach. The owner picked us up and dropped us off to/from the airport. Our only complaint is that the wifi really did NOT work reliably in the room. You could get on the Internet only from the store/office. Also, be aware that to go anywhere else on the island, like into town, you have to take a bus (or rent a motor scooter).
