This does not mean that I wouldn’t stay here again. I definitely would. But I think my suggestions would be helpful

The lady at the front desk seemed very frustrated when going to her about these things. So made me frustrated that when communicated about these issues, I was made to feel like a burden!!

- Verified traveler (4/5): They didn't give a crap my smoke detector chirped - Room stunk like it wasn't aired out after being closed all winter. I unpacked and was ready to relax, the smoke detector starts chirping. I took it down, (60 years old climbing on a flimsy plastic chair) walked to the office, and asked the person at the desk to handle it. He took it, then hands it back and said here ya go. It was a disposable kind, and he didn't even turn it off before handing it to me. I had to re-hang it. It started chirping again so I shoved it in the drawer, Another detector started a high pitch chirp I took it down and it had 2 different kinds of OLD batteries I guess they just found in a drawer. I left them on the table IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW so they saw it and fixed it. Same ones hung again. Then they told me I did it because I was smoking in the room. No, I live in a smoke free building. I sit outside, have a half a cigarette, put it out. There were no trash cans outside. I looked around the whole front and side area near my half of the building and nothing. Because it was windy I brought the ash tray in. They said they considered that smoking in the room and woman cleaning will decide if it stinks. I said it smells BETTER than when I checked in because I brought in my spray cleaner from the car and the place is cleaner than when I checked in. (Mrs Meyers Clean Day to the rescue). They refuse to give me a detailed receipt. I called from home and said there's extra charged to my card & got "at least we're not charging you for smoking".

- Donna (4/5): Very disappointed - I booked a 2 room condo and the room was given away, I booked for 2 people on line and was going to pay for the 2 extra people upon check in but they did not give me the room I booked, I was put in a small 1 bedroom with plastic outdoor table and folding old chairs and the 1 air conditioner did not work well and was not in the bedroom, it had a ceiling fan that only worked when the bright light was on so how are we to sleep. I asked for another room and the owner had an attitude and finally gave me another room under the steps with no view and no outdoor chairs when they had plenty of vacancies. the place was not what it was years ago. They put us in the no view room it seemed for spite. I was charged almost $400 a night for a terrible room again with plastic tables, no tv in the bedroom and again ceiling fan that only works when the light is on. I will never go back

- Anthony (6/5): Not Impressed at all. - Check in was nonexistent. No one at the counter guy comes from the back. Takes my name and informs me I will now have (2) rooms instead of the large room I booked there were * of us and we wanted to be in one big room. No instructions nothing. Rooms are outdated and not clean. I get it we are in Wildwood, and you should be outside, and this is just a place to lay your head but seriously now could have been better. Pool is locked at 7 and the hotel employee locks up and leaves. And you are on your own. Really nowhere to sit couple of plastic chairs outside your room. Pool was nice though. Again, for the money they charge and the location they have this could have been so much better. This is a one and done for me.

They also stated on there website that any additional children was 20 and they charged 35 for additional children. - Verified traveler (8/5): Clean & great location. - Great family ran motel. Location was a plus across from beach access. Our room was a Queen studio w/a futon for additional sleeping. We had a view of the pool & ocean. We had minor issue turning on our shower which needs a new fixture to maybe resolve the issue. Otherwise most everything in the room was new & clean. If you need additional bath towels or blankets be sure & ask before 7pm because the front desk is closed after 7; so we didn’t have a blanket, for our first night, for the futon. The room could use more outlets for the coffee pot & toaster. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was spotless even with a busy the busy July season. Over all the issues where minor and we’d definitely stay here again.

We had a coffee maker but there wasnt a coffee packet to make a coffee, so please check on that for the next guest.

Com the place is a dump beds are nasty sleep with clothes on didn’t shower because the bathroom was nasty looked like a crack room and was with my family and left one place that sold our room and try to give me a cheaper room, but had I seen the room be for I paid 591.00 dollars I would have sleep in my car but it’s just a warning stay very clear of the nasty place do yourself that favor

I’ve stayed in a lot of places all over north wildwood and I never had a rude experience. Normally everyone is happy to be down the shore and loving life. This man seemed mad at the world. I even saw him tell the fruit man to not come to his hotel before 10. Everyone loves the fruit guy. Lighten up dude

When I called Friday to complete the payment I advised that I wasn’t sure when I would be arriving because I would be out to sea fishing with no service. Showed up Saturday evening and was told my room was given away since I wasn’t there earlier and there are no refunds. Mind you, room was paid in full Friday-Sunday. Was told “take it up with Expedia” and Had to drive 4 hours home. Place is a joke don’t waste your time and money
- Kathryn (8/5): Close to Beach, well kept - We stayed for just 1 night. We received a call prior to arrival. When we arrived our air conditioning was not working. Within minutes the maintenance man was there to replace the unit with a brand new one. The room was cozy and comfortable. The pool was well-maintained with a nice separate kiddie area. My only complaint was that the pool didn’t open until 10 because “some guests are still sleeping.” It wasn’t stated anywhere, and it just doesn’t seem very family friendly that some guests are loud late into the night, but a family that wakes up at 8 can’t swim in the pool. Hotel was right across the street from the beach. It was a nice 2 minute walk to the water and just a short walk to the boardwalk.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Bit of a mess but right on the beach - This is obviously a family run business, and they seem friendly. I almost hate to say anything negative... the first room they gave me was under construction. Literally. It's not a big place how do you forget that a room is being renovated? Anyway, they moved me to the one next door. It had not been cleaned yet from the previous person, but they gave me keys. Insane behaviors during a pandemic. Anyway we went out for a few hors to give them a chance to clean it. Later, at bedtime, we realized they never changed the sheets! They were covered in hair. The maid probably didn't realize it was a new tenant. Obviously with coronavirus, this was an issue, but the office was already closed. We had to sleep on top of the beds instead of under the covers, and only after i sprayed disinfectant. Along with that, the room needed serious upgrades, dilapidated in some areas and was extremely small. And we couldn't find any outlets to charge electronics except the kitchen counter, which was super awkward. There were no carpets or mats anywhere at the entrance of the unit so you couldn't wipe your feet. Despite our best efforts some sand or dirt ended up in the tiled living area of the room, so we couldn't walk around our own room without shoes. Parking lot is a nightmare. Guy next to me had a scratch on their car because there just isn't enough room. Not all about it was bad: price was low (even w/kitchenette) and location can't be beat. But we decided to look elsewhere next time
