Guest Reviews
- scott (10/5): Memorable - Can’t thank mark and Debbie enough for making our stay the most memorable and enjoyable experience of my and my fiancée’s life.
- John (10/5): - The Sheridan House is absolutely unbelievable. Debbie and Mark are amazing host and the food was amazing. The property was immaculate and perfect in every way.
- Alan (10/5): First time in Arizona with my girlfriend perfect stay - Spectacular breakfast, wonderful location Nothing perfect
- Andrew (10/5): - Just WOW, what an unbelievable stay we had, exceptional in every sense of the word and made us feel very special on our anniversary . Lots of care & thought has gone into the whole package they offer. Only wish we had had longer to stay
- Peter (10/5): Fantastic hosts, scenic accommodation and wonderful breakfasts - Fantastic hosts, great rooms and tasty breakfasts. Nothing to do with the property or the hosts but we didn’t realise the town of Williams doesn’t have a taxi service.
- John (10/5): A pleasant surprise and a great experience. - The owners are super nice and always available on property. They went out of their way to make sure we were welcome and well taken care of. Accomadations were clean, updated and well appointed. Meal choices were varied, interesting and tasty. We will definetely stay here again when we visit in the future. Zero complaints.
- Dana (10/5): - Our stay was incredible! The property is beautiful and in a wonderful location. All of the amenities were top notch. I loved the sheets so much that I even ordered a set for myself. Breakfast was over the top outstanding. Prepared and served by the owners Mark and Debbie, and the friendly staff. They go out of their way to make your stay an experience not just a place to stay. I didn’t even want to leave.
Grazie!!!!
Nulla.
- albert (10/5): - Tout est parfait
Un petit paradis
Accueil plein d’attention et de gentillesse
- JAMIE (10/5): - Beautiful place, amazing breakfast and dinner! Mark and Debbie are the sweetest!
- Colleen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donald (8/5): Enjoyed our stay. - Enjoyed our stay here. Room was lovely with a great comfy bed. I’m sensitive to smells so had to turn off the machine pumping whatever the scent was. Food was very good quality and nicely served. We used this as a base to visit the Grand Canyon and found that worked well. Hosts are very known and helpful. Town is cute and worth a look.
- Kathleen (8/5): - everything was Amazing
loved the food
quiet & peaceful
- Derek (10/5): An exceptional place, which left us wishing we had booked for longer! - Without exception, one of the best accommodations I have stayed in in the US to date. The inn keepers went above and beyond to help when we had an issue with our transport. I can recommend the Sheridan House unreservedly. Nothing to not like!
- Samantha (10/5): We had a great wonderful stay and would recommend this B&B to everyone. - The room was beautiful! It had a sliding glass door that led out to a small sitting area. The food was amazing. Debbie and Mark, the innkeepers, err so welcoming and kind that they seemed like family. Like you have known them your whole life. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property.
- Blunier (10/5): Our hosts were so nice! Full of fun facts and suggestions for our trip. The place was clean and comfortable, and the foo - It was a beautiful place. They gave us a complimentary upgrade to a lovely room.
- Danie (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (10/5): Very nice! - Debbie and Mark obviously love what they do. so many extra amenities. Mark is an excellent cook.
- Yvette (10/5): A perfect BnB - Mark and Debbie were fabulous hosts, they have thought of every single detail to make your stay memorable.
Mark offered us glasses of wine that we drank in our patio overlooking the forest. Breakfast was beyond delicious.
This is one of the best BnB we have ever stayed. Leaving

- Kathleen (10/5): Come and stay to get pampered - Wonderfully charming and cozy It was perfect
- Marcus (10/5): Fantastic Experience at Sheridan House Inn - A stay at the Sheridan House Inn is a fantastic experience. Mark and Debbie had thought over every last detail for our stay. We stayed in the Oakwood room, loved the separate, private terrace where we ate breakfast every morning. The food is excellent and one of the reasons to stay at the Sheridan House. Mark takes the time to explain the details and if you have time, you must stay for a dinner. The food is five stars and such a personal service is given by Mark and Debbie. The inn is an easy one hour drive to Grand Canyon, we took Mark up on his secret place for a sunset picnic (also provided by Mark and delicious). Lastly, Mark has plenty of very useful tips on the local area which made our stay all the more easier. Can't recommend highly enough! There's nothing to not-like!
- Arthur (10/5): - The owners (Debbie and Mark) and staff are great! The Inn and grounds are beautiful. We felt welcome from the moment Debbie greated us upon arrival. The Inn is nestled up against a wooded slope at the end of a cul-de-sac and is both secluded and quiet. The breakfasts and dinners are wonderful, from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the signature dinner dishes. Debbie was very helpful in suggesting and arranging excursions to the Grand Canyon and an off road tour of the red cliffs around Sedona. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning soon.
- Wasielewski (10/5): Loved the meals! GF friendly was a plus!! - Rooms we comfortable with personal touches. Prepared breakfasts were delicious and included, dinners and cutlery board was conveniently served at your convenience in room, outside patio or beautiful dining room. Humming birds were in abundance at outdoor patio, fun to watch. They thought of everything. Can't say enough about this place. Pleasantly surprised. Be aware this property is at a 7000 ft . elevation with steep drive and steps. Lower level rooms avoid most issues.
- Ashley (10/5): - It was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast. We normally select hotel/motels when we travel. This was a special weekend as we are getting married in October and wanted to getaway for an overnight trip. Debbie and Mark who run the Sheridan House Inn were amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We are on the shyer side but felt relaxed while we're there. The dinner and breakfast was spectacular. I had to buy their whiskey barrel coffee. Yum! I highly recommend visiting and staying for a couple of nights. We will definitely be back.
- Steven (10/5): Faultless! Can’t wait to return! - Warm welcome, wonderful food, beautifully decorated throughout, lovely location, every little detail thought of to make the perfect stay Perfect in every way
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lavonna (10/5): We felt so pampered! - Mark and Debbie were amazing hosts. They had lots of tips and helpful advise for finding our way around the area, planning outings, and getting reservations for various activities. The breakfast menu created by Mark was fabulous and the meal itself was outstanding. I would go back just for breakfast! The room was beautifully appointed with everything we needed and didn't know we needed. I would have loved to eat out on the patio but it was still a little chilly in the mornings.
- Marco (10/5): - It was a perfect stay. Thank you.
- Diann (10/5): Great B&B come relax with trees/birds chirping - We had a wonderful time at The Sheridan Inn when we went to visit the Grand Canyon, Bearazonia and the Antelope Canyon. We stayed 3 days and enjoyed every minute including the delicious breakfast and dinner. Mark and Debbie were delightful and spoiled us during our stay. You know it must be a great B&B when they were featured on great places to stay and filming them while we were enjoying our stay. Trust me book your room!
- Meredith (10/5): - This was a lovely property - nestled on a very private cul de sac. Owners were exceptionally gracious and helpful. Great atmosphere, beautiful room, excellent food.
- Schwab (10/5): Exceptional -
- Regina (8/5): Very good -
- Jayne (10/5): Debbie and Mark created an Excellent B&B Experience! - Food, staff, property was EXCELLENT! And they are LGBTQ-Friendly.
- Stacy (9/5): Best B&B in the west! We will definitely be coming back! - Very personable, friendly hosts; beautiful home; all the bells & whistles; beautiful, peaceful tucked away in the woods; loved the private hot tub; all within walking distance to downtown shops & restaurants, but the best food is on the property! We visited for our anniversary and they made it so romantic and personal for us - absolutely amazing! The Rosewood Room, while private and the only room in the main house, is not very quiet being right off of the kitchen & dining room. You can’t sleep in easily, but a sound machine is in the room! Otherwise, no complaints!
- Adam (10/5): - We loved this place! The owners made us feel so at home and it was so perfect on every aspect. We hope to return as soon as we can.
- Corinne (9/5): Lovely place to stay in driving distance to South Rim of Grand Canyon - The location, quiet and comfort was lovely. The breakfast was fabulous. Loved the coffee. Debbie was charming, Mark was helpful but a bit verbose.
- Andrea (10/5): It was a wonderful and enjoyable stay throughout and no complaints here. - Breakfast and all the friendly hospitality Nothing
- Nereida (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (10/5): Way better than a hotel/motel! - Breakfast was awesome and hosts are lovely! Friendly, comfortable, & homey ;)
- Jaq (10/5): If there was a higher grading rate, our score would go up! Wish our stay had been longer. - Everything was incredible. Location, accommodations, meals and hospitality were all impeccable! Looking forward to our next visit! That we were there only a day.
- linda (10/5): - Debbie and Mark have thought of everything to make you feel at home! The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The location is quiet and simply beautiful. Highly recommend!!!
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): - Great food. Attractive furnishings. Comfy beds.
- Steve (10/5): A five star Bed and Breakfast! Can't wait to return! - The Sheridan House Inn is most definitely the best kept secret in the state of Arizona. My wife and I have stayed in hundreds of places around the world and this place was exactly what we were looking for in a Bed and Breakfast. It is charming, quiet, clean, relaxing and a great location for a visit to the Grand Canyon. Debbie and Mark are the perfect hosts! Their passion for what they do is evident everywhere you look, including their attention to each and every detail. We felt pampered from the minute we stepped onto the property. Absolutely anything you need or want has been addressed by them.
And did I mention the food? You will NEVER eat a better tasting gourmet breakfast anywhere else! Trust me on this. Definitely the highlight of our three days there. And if you choose to dine in for dinner one evening, Debbie and Mark will make it an experience you will never stop talking about.
Debbie and Mark clearly love what they do. They are not only great hosts, but they are great people. On your next trip to the Grand Canyon or Sedona, I highly recommend staying at the Sheridan House Inn. It will not disappoint.
- Power (10/5): Exceptional - Great breakfast
- nancy a (10/5): - Innkeepers were so attentive to the needs of their guests. Exceptional service and food choices.
- Jannease (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about our stay was above and beyond any expectations. There aren't enough stars to even count ! Exceptionally high rating.
- Linda (10/5): We felt relaxed, pampered and wish that we could have stayed longer. - The location is so beautiful and peaceful, tranquil. Our hosts were so welcoming and delightful, it's like staying with friends. The evening we arrived,we had the "Art-Cuterie Board" as our dinner. It was Amazing and Huge! We ate the leftovers the next day as snacks. Our breakfast was gourmet and absolutely to die for! There was so much that it was difficult to eat it all but somehow we managed. Lol My sister-in-law has dietary restrictions which were catered to precisely. The fact that the ingredients to use are homegrown and or locally sourced is just an added bonus for sure. Mark and Debbie know all about the local attractions and are a wealth of information. We will definitely be coming back for a future stay and definitely sending other family members and friends to stay there as well. Was absolutely impeccable! After racking our brains to try to come up with anything at all that could improve our stay the only thing we could think of is possibly a fancier shower head for the bathroom which would be nice but not necessary. The body wash, shampoo/conditioner that was provided in the shower was absolutely terrific.
- David (10/5): Great Place - Excellent facilities and very accommodating hosts. Thank you Mark and Debbie.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Experience I would enjoy repeating!! - Incredible hosts! Incredible food! Incredible attention to detail with accommodations! Comfortable bed. Clean facilities. In town with an rural atmosphere. We saw a gorgeous fox in back of the property!! Highly recommend!! nothing
- A (10/5): Absolute Perfection - There is a reason why Sheridan House gets 10/10 on its review - because it is absolutely perfect! Debbie and Mark, who own and run Sheridan House, take perfect care of you. From the multiple freshly made breakfast options, to the attention to detail in the rooms, you will feel thoroughly spoilt! We were staying for a very special occasion of ours and Debbie and Mark made sure that we would have the best experience possible. The rooms are all different, but ours was very comfortable with our own private patio where we were served breakfast each morning. The bed was large and very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and had everything you could imagine needing in a bathroom, including slippers and even special flannels for your shoes to get the Arizona dust off them. The food is cooked by Mark and he takes pride in offering a varied breakfast menu with a mix of traditional breakfast options, but also some unique offerings. Likewise with dinner, there is a varied menu which changes, so you can always try something new. The smoked chicken, in particular, was a standout! We cannot wait to stay again and have told our friends and family about how wonderful Sheridan House is. It is the perfect place to stay in and around the Grand Canyon (it is less than 1hr drive to the South Entrance).
- Rick (10/5): Exceptional - everything,staff,location,the dog
- Anonymous (10/5): Great hosts, food, very comfortable stay and great location. We will be back. - The location, cleanliness, exceptional food and above all wonderful hosts. There was nothing not to like. Our stay was great.
- Anthony (10/5): Best Inn Near The Grand Canyon - Fantastic quaint Bed N Breakfast with a variety of amenities. Debbie & Staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The property is amazing, room was cozy, the food phenomenal, and the advice she gave us about seeing Williams & the Grand Canyon made the trip even more enjoyable. Highly Recommended.
- Barbara (10/5): Best B&B Inn for Northern Arizona/Grand Canyon travelers who want friendly service + luxury&gourmet - Truly exceptional. Gourmet chef is the husband of the owner couple and he could be on Top Chef for tastyWe, innovative, well presented food. With 3 breakfast entrees to chose from each morning, there were no mediocre choices. Hard to choose between excellent variety! Could seriously find nothing that didn't meet the highest standards!
- Kathleen (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was exceptional. This was a return visit and I looked forward to the breakfast and the warm hospitality.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfasts, hosts, room, and travel advice was extraordinary.
- Andrew (10/5): - Fantastic! I stayed for 4 nights recently and had an incredible time. The property is well located for drives to all the key attractions. The room was beautiful and had everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The hosts, Debbie and Mark, are excellent - they helped shape our trip with good tour recommendations as well as cooking up some amazing food. In addition to the breakfasts, we had dinner on the property twice and would highly recommend! Overall a very special place and I’d love to stay again.
- matthew (10/5): - Property owners were great, very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and the meals were delicious. They offer several different meals for breakfast and dinner. Very helpful with places to see as well.
- Briana (10/5): - The hosts Mark and Debbie are very welcoming and friendly. The service was great and the breakfast was delicious!
- Charles (10/5): Beautiful escape into a peaceful environment. - The property was beautiful!, with an exceptional level of detail provided to the guests. The staff made us feel comfortable, the food was amazing, and the minute we walked through the doors we felt welcome. absolutely nothing

- Richard (10/5): - Great hosts, beautiful property, excellent food. One of the best B&B's we have ever been to. Highest recommendations
- Consuelo (10/5): - Like having a private little Condo in a beautiful setting. The owners were so welcome, kind and hospitable.
- Paul (10/5): Great adult only stay that will keep us coming bac - What a wonderful find in Williams. The B&B is nestled in the trees and the surrounding area is just delightful. We will definitely be back for another visit. The fact that this was an adult only property was a big plus for us. We've had our kids and it's now time to enjoy a bit of relaxation without children bouncing off the walls. Let the kids play, but us adults enjoy the serine quiet.
- Aaron (10/5): - From the greeting when we first arrived to our check out this was the best hospitality experience of our lives. Fully curated and unique daily breakfast menus that match the season, beautiful rooms, great views of the forest, and full dinner at the inn options are all highlights. We can not recommend the Sheridan House more highly. We will definitely be back!
- Mary Ann (10/5): - Mark and Debbie went out of their way to see that all requests were satisfied. Lovely accommodation in a very small town. Gave helpful advice on area attractions and how to make visit more convenient. Mark was a creative chef and did not disappoint.
- patricia (10/5): Hidden gem near the grand canyon - The service and hospitality were extraordinary! This place is a gem. We had a fantastic room
I wish we could have stayed longer!
- Diane (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Sheridan House. They gave us very good advice on so many things to make our trip better than we could ever have imagined. The room was clean, quiet and spacious-the breakfasts were beyond words beautiful and delicious. We would recommend to anyone! It was beyond any expectation!
- Lucy (10/5): - Wonderful place to stay. Great food
- Julie (10/5): - Wonderful place! Mark and Debbie are incredible hosts. The food was beyond exceptional.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cannot say enough about how beautiful & accommodating the Sheridan House Inn is, both in location & ownership. Mark & Debbie do a phenomenal job with every aspect of making you feel welcome & at home. If you are looking for a great B&B, the Sheridan House Inn is a must.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Takes your breath away! Too many little touches to mention. Peaceful, beautiful and the owners are amazing. The breakfast was five star good.
- Gregory (10/5): A Little Piece of Paradise in the Pines - An exceptional B&B which we visited for our anniversary over the 4th of July was outstanding. The Sheridans were wonderful hosts and kept us informed as to their B&B and going-ons in the immediate area. Daily breakfast was exceptional and a "special" 4th of July dinner with bbq ribs was outstanding. The rooms were well decorated and sparkling clean including the on-suite bath. The Sheridans have a labor of love in their place in the pines and it shows in everything they have built in Williams. We look forward to visiting the Sheridan House again in the future.
- John (10/5): LIVE UP TO THEIR 10/10 RATING!! - This place is amazing, by far the best B&B I’ve been to. The innkeepers are super polite, welcoming and helpful. Their food is amazing and they’re willing to accommodate any dietary restrictions. The rooms themselves are immaculately clean, modern and luxurious. (Splurge for the Rosewood room if you can, you won’t regret it!). The inn has an awesome homey feel, beautiful scenery and very private despite it being a B&B. 1 hour from Grand Canyon, but totally worth it. Don’t even think about booking another place, you will NOT be sorry!
