• Millicent (1/5): We needed to stay there because we had already booked the hotel and the booking can’t be refund. - I don’t like anything about the facility and it was horrible to be in that facility. When we reached there if not our money cannot be refund we will have canceled our booking and go to another facility. Their service was horrible. They don’t clean the rooms and when checked out they accuse of making the place dirty.

• Robin (7/5): 3 sisters stay - Room was new and clean. Breaker flipped ran out of hot water while showering. A small stand between beds for phones and such would have been helpful. I see an ironing board but no iron, but most people would not need one. Location was OK but didn't like it at night I ran to the corner store didn't really feel safe so I didn't go out at night. We ran out of towels before the front desk was open.

Although there were free rooms and they could verify that I had paid for my reservation, they took a long time to fix the situation and give me a room. 3 hours took nightmare with my wife and little son waiting. I would never go back to that hotel.

• Kristen (4/5): - Communication with staff was pleasant and responsive prior to check in. The location was convenient. I understood that the hotel changed ownership, and was in process of being renovated. The room where we stayed in felt unfinished - there was no nightstand between the beds, and there were no hangers in the exposed closet. There was a strong chemical fragrance smell in the room. The door did not fully close which was concerning, but we were able to lock it at night. I suspect we got the last room because of our late arrival from the airport. We sucked it up because it was one night stay before moving into an Airbnb for the remainder of our visit in Lake Worth.

The site pics are not what it appears to be. The air conditioning unit was small and didn’t seem as effective then what were used to. The shower had a tub mat that definitely looks like it had mold on it and it grossed me out.

Clean and quiet, though. - Room and bedding were clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable except for the pillows - we both struggled to get comfortable as the pillows were so stiff and had neck pain. The fridge and microwave worked fine. Location felt fairly safe and there were cameras on-site - hopefully working - so we felt decent in that regard. Air conditioning worked well and we could cool the room off. Also quiet and couldn't hear neighbors, which is appreciated. Hot water was almost non-existent - in almost 2 weeks of stay, we had maybe 4 hot showers between the two of us. The rest of the time the water was maybe warm at best. Had to shower at a family member's place. Lack of a hot shower in the morning is a definite dealbreaker to us. The TV did not work - couldn't get any channels, streaming or anything to come on. The room was very bare bones - a small bedside table for your phone or a drink would be nice. For the price I would expect at least the expected basic amenities to be reliable - hot showers in particular.

Miguel explained the entire hotel was going through a transition. They are doing a good job, going through some 'growing pains.' The amenities could be better. Breakfast was only grab and go, but decent options.

The second room (for us parents), on the 1st floor, was not renovated yet with no bed lights, no curtains and a bed which had seen better days. The swimming pool was not accessible (a part of my choice for this hotel as my kids enjoy being able to swim). Breakfast : just coffee and cereals, a snack really.

• Marise (7/5): Goed voor een kort verblijf bij het PBI vliegveld - Kemer #2 was gerenoveerd en netjes. Alles werkt goed en het was erg schoon. De lichten zij erg fel en daardoor is de kamer, die geheel wit is, erg ongezellig. Verder is het dekbedje van systetisch materiaal gemaakt en daarom oncomfortabel. De auto maakt veel lawaai en het filter moest vervangen worden. Het zwembad was dicht en het ontbijt stelt heel erg weinig voor.

I needed a comfortable, quiet, convenient, safe place to stay and the Palm Breeze met every expectation. Fast, friendly check in, key coded door (no key to keep track of) comfortable bed, adjustable AC, large mini fridge (oxymoron, I get it, but on the large end of small fridges) desk, light, coffee maker, microwave. No complaints.

• June (10/5): Palm Breeze was comfortable and convenient. - The room was comfortable and near the pool. Palm Breeze is near downtown Lake Worth for dining and entertainment, also close to the beach. The sign for the hotel still reads Scandia, so I was a bit confused when I arrived at the hotel's location.

• Mia (9/5): What this small, 22 room hideaway lacks in amenities, you cannot beat the conscientious care you will recieve from the m - The Staff are outstanding. Give this newly renovating little gem a chance. New management has a lot to do bringing this small, independent hotel up to new standards. The front desk is extremely helpful and accommodating. I’ve stayed multiple nights, different days of the week and my rooms were clean. I smelled bleach when I opened my door and that’s a good thing. Ample parking and exceptional lighting make this a safe place to maneuver at night and keyless entry on the doors was a great idea. Continental breakfast is free albeit limited. Minutes from the beach and shopping. If you look on this website, you will find incredible rates. Try finding a hotel in Palm Beach County that’s under $100 per night AND safe and clean! Best Western in central WPB was more than double the price. The photo below is my newer room. So bright and clean - and I didn’t see 1 creepy crawler in this room at any time. Not a roach, ant or lizard which is a miracle in south Florida! It even in the middle of the night when I turned on a light to use the bathroom. I also checked the AC filter and it was clean. I was shocked. That’s almost always neglected by ANY hotel. Rest should be restful, not a lottery. They are in the middle of renovating from the previous owner, who obviously didn’t care about anything. I had both an older room and a newly remodeled room. Improvement is needed in the quality of the mattresses (below average) in both and older, dysfunctional appliances need to go.

• joseph (9/5): awesome staff, very clean room and the best pillows I've ever had at a hotel - The staff member that checked me in was wonderful... she was very courteous, and more than helpful considering my late arrival. She made me feel right at home. she should be given a raise and/or promotion. There was a small leak in the bathroom ceiling due to heavy rains that evening... but, this was easy to overlook because the staff and the rest of my accommodations were so good
