• Zhongyi (8/5): - 入住的几天挺开心的，孩子们很喜欢那里的蹦床，我们使用了烧烤设施。各方面还算中规中矩。 卫生状况有待改善。餐厅的餐巾很旧已经起球了，而且不太干净。房间里的椅子上有头发。为了保持卫生，我们使用自己带的床单，同行的朋友说他们床单上有头发。 由于房子设计的原因，房梁上有两片黄色的玻璃会投进外面的太阳光，导致每天早上六点房间里就亮了，显然影响睡眠。不过这样倒是可以让孩子们早起。

• LKunst (7/5): Great for a few (5) days Drakensberg! - Good location. The place was cleaned almost every day. Friendly staff. We cleaned the BBQ ourselves. Tip! The Valley Bakery nearby offers a delicious and affordable breakfast. The Valley Bakery Also, Thokozisa Restaurant is beautiful! And relax at Drakensberg Chocolate Memories. There’s also a spa on the premises—great massages for a good price. Winnie is really good! Fantastic surroundings. Take a day trip to The Cascades ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/d834kX7RiFxPG8D66 ) amazing with kids. It did feel a bit “smudgy.” The doors were dirty, there were ants in the bathroom, and the pool had algae. The floor inside the cottage was clean, though.

• Gerda (8/5): Great value for money stay for the family - Views & tranquility Spacious rooms/units It was quite cold in the unit. The heater stove helped a lot, but did not smell good with wood burning. Someone had used the fridge for storing fish. It had a bad smell to it!
• Kavir (9/5): Long weekend getaway - The room was comfortable with all the necessary items for a two to three nights stay. Plenty of activities for the kids. The resort is also close to all amenities. Nothing to do with the property itself but the roads leading to Champagnes Valley are deteriorating. Lots of potholes and uneven road surfaces. Try and use a vehicle with good ground clearance like an SUV.

• Usha (2/5): I would not book there again - .Didn't like much. would not recommend if coming as a couple. the entertainment room felt like it needed a total revamp. smelt and dirty carpets. The breakfast was fair and basic with limited options. You were compelled to take the dinner buffet or order a pizza. The dinner buffet was also pretty sad. If you looking for a mountain view this is definitely not the place for you. The rooms are extremely standard with yellowed sheets and smelly carpets.

• Robert (10/5): One of the best i have experienced. - We arrived late and the receprion was already closed but constant communication with the staff was in progress until we got to the place. We were warmly welcomed by the security guard who had the room keys and guided us through and gave us the short tour and guidelines of the place. I can't think of anything, all was in order.

Poor maintenance on courts, game room was filthy, our room was hardly properly cleaned until we complained. Restaurant menu is limited and they tried to shove a buffet down our throat.

• Andreas (8/5): Gute Lage und tollem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Zimmer top. Essen so lala. - Check-In war problemlos und schnell erledigt. Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer haben eine angenehme Größe und sind sehr sauber. Sehr schön gelegen direkt am See. Größe des Badezimmers ist ok. Anlage generell sehr schön. Lage des Hotels super, um Wanderungen in die Drakensberge zu unternehmen, z.B. Sphinx-Trail. (keine 15 Min. vom Parkplatz Monks Cowl entfernt) Badezimmer schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und hier und da schon gut Schimmel vorhanden. Abendessen (Buffet) kann ich persönlich nicht empfehlen. Fand ich qualitativ nicht gut und auch vom Geschmack her nicht wirklich gut. Hatte am nächsten Tag ganz schön Magenprobleme. WLAN hatte man im Zimmer leider nur mit minimalem Signal. Man flog auch meistens wieder raus. Eigentlich hätte man auch Netflix etc. aber leider ging das auch nicht. Selbst der normale TV ging immer wieder aus bzw. mit schlechtem Signal. Da gibt es noch Verbesserungspotenzial.

• Johan (10/5): Can't wait to go back! - Ideal location and a great place to stay. Offering great value for money. But honestly the best thing about this place was the staff. Always helpful and always smiling. The restaurant was a really pleasant surprise. All the meals from breakfast to dinner were just amazing. They didn't just look good they were made of fresh ingredients. The malva pudding comes highly recommended! Charmaine and her staff are the best! Absolutely nothing. Could really have stayed longer but the damage to our waistlines would have been even more.

It was beautifully presented and awesome value. I also had the pleasure of Nkosi communicating with me regarding arrival and assisting in extending our stay. The resort was quiet but the staff were ever ready to make our stay memorable. Friars Tucks was super accommodating serving up a scrumptious breakfast in record time to get me on the trail early. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt well taken care of by some amazing staff.
