• Rcmc85 (6/5): Not a 4 Star Hotel - Room was extremely hot, windows only opened a crack. Staff said they were unable to do anything about switching the heat to air conditioning as it was too early in the year. I requested the fan which they made seem like was impossible though eventually found one. Cleaning woman would close the window while we were out each day and the room would be sweltering each evening upon our return. Staff was also not friendly or especially helpful. Facilities were updated but everything was very dark and strangely laid out. Room was very small. Breakfast was pretty decent though. Overall, overpriced and too hot. I would not go back

Bagno ben strutturato, con wc e bidet separati da doccia (molto ampia) e lavandino. Prodotti di qualità e dotazione completa. Personale attento, professionale e sempre disponibile. Comodo anche il servizio di deposito bagagli sia prima del check-in che dopo il check-out. Colazione varia, abbondante e di qualità, con piacevole allestimento a tema pasquale. Posizione ottima. Consigliatissimo!

• Johannes (5/5): not good enough - This is kind of a sad review as all started very well and could have been a 10 out of 10. We arrived early before 11am and still one of our rooms was already ready. We had very nice rooms with comfortable beds, bathrooms with good showers, really nice rooms. One staff showed us everything, really attentive. So perfect start. Furthermore, the hotel is in a great location, close to a lot of attractions, so you can walk to a lot of things. However, when we came back, the downhill race started as our second room was dirty. Dirt on the floor, hairs in shower and toilet, a sink which did not really work. We told this the afternoon concierge which did not apologize but just said: Don't worry, we will fix it (which sounded like uwhat do you complain about). Two minus points for dirt and lack of attention. Next day, the nightgown of my wife was gone and again she did not apologize but just asked whom they should email if they would find it again (no use if you are travelling and have limited amount of night gowns with you). Two more minus points for lost nightgown and another renewed lack of attention. The breakfast is really nice, many gluten free options, great cappuccino, really nice staff, so great breakfast which would have maintained a good review. But another minus point comes for the unattractive hotel bar which looks like a unused acquarium. This brings our vote to: no, we do not want to come back as 5 out of 10 points is not enough!

• RedShoesNottingham (8/5): Lovely Hotel - Lovely hotel. Only 48 rooms so feels relaxed. Staff are friendly and helpful. They left us some champagne when the realised it was our anniversary. Breakfast is good with plenty of options. Room is very clean and nice size. It was a bit noisy late at night from neighbouring rooms and from outside, but Rome is a noisy city! The bar area is nice but a bit claustrophobic with no windows or views - and Rome is so pretty! Would stay again.

• JosephM4703 (4/5): Not a 4 or 5 Star hotel at all. - Currently staying at the hotel here for another two nights. Completely disappointed by the stay in the room we are in. We are in a triple and the third person is actually sleeping on a couch, not a pullout couch, but rather, well I think some people call it a “fainting”couch. Since we’ve been here, the sink has clogged, the lights have flickered, the shower didn’t work, the internet does not work in our room (only lobby), there is no room temperature control and the pillows are nothing short of rocks. None of this is an exaggeration and all true as can be. I am actually typing this from the lobby because that’s the only way we can get Internet connection. We cannot in our room. I believe this was advertised as a 4 to 5 star hotel and it is very very short of that. Our triple rooms in both Venice and Florence had a full-size twin bed in them so they were set up for our teenager. This one had an unfitted sheet, laying on top of the couch and propose that as the bed. Needless to say, we will be staying here for two more nights and not again

Our bath had a poor repair done on it so we dare not have a bath. We found underwear in the draws of the wardrobe which definitely wasn't ours! We found Breakfast was poor. The bacon, scrambled egg and potato was stone cold. I ordered a fried egg on one day which actually cost me 6 Euros!!!! As it was my wives Birthday they did leave a bottle of fizz for us which was a nice touch.

Lo mejor la amabilidad de todos los trabajadores del hotel. Sin duda repetiremos. Las habitaciones están genial y muy nuevas, lo unico es que no están muy bien insonorizadas unas con otras.

• Harris3xfamily (10/5): 10 out of 10 - A central location within walking distance of many attractions, otherwise near bus stops and Metro stations to go further afield. We had two rooms between three of us and they were well-appointed, very clean and 'refreshed' daily with towels etc. We found it surprisingly quiet for a city hotel but we did stay Sunday to Thursday if that makes a difference. We were made very welcome by all the staff and Giacomo at breakfast is a true professional in his field. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. There are numerous eateries nearby for evening meals. We would thoroughly recommend the Rome Life Hotel and would happily stay again.

Staff molto gentile e ad eccezione del numero uno. Letto veramente comodo Colazione nella norma, tranne l’ultimo giorno che era migliore. Purtroppo abbiamo fatto tutti i giorni e tre notti senza wifi,non funzionava Internet, i ragazzi dello staff sono venuti tutti i giorni,hanno constatato che il problema era irrisolvibile.

• stevemH3956SA (8/5): Almost perfect - We stayed for 4 nights, there are some good points but unfortunately we did have some issues. Firstly the good, all the staff were fantastic although special mention to Alberto who without his communication I very much doubt we would have stayed here. The room was nice but a little tired and the location was perfect to get to all the attractions. The room we were allocated (505) when we arrived was very noisy, it sounded like a generator running constantly and even though they moved us to floor 4 it could still be heard all night. When I booked the hotel my credit card was validated and the first nights accommodation was taken $160 (it took 2 weeks for it to be returned) I didn’t have an issue with this but 7 days before arrival the hotel tried to take it again (no idea why) but they reckon they couldn’t even tho they had validated the card previously and sent a nastily worded email threatening to cancel the booking if I didn’t sort it out. As previously mentioned it was only with Alberto help I reckon that would have happened. I did receive an explanation but this isn’t in the terms and conditions. To be fair this was used to pay the balance but if you have validated my card once why do it again? Good breakfast and the cocktails in the bar were amazing.

• andrzejgS3799FX (10/5): Amazing staff - We had the pleasure of staying at Rome Life Hotel, and we highly recommend it. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels replaced every day. The entire hotel was maintained to an excellent standard of cleanliness, which made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh, high-quality products served in a continental style. There was a wide variety of options, ensuring that everyone could find something to suit their taste. The staff truly made our experience exceptional. All team members were courteous, welcoming, and professional. We would especially like to recognize Giacomeo, who is truly the heart of this hotel. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care for guests create a wonderful atmosphere and make you feel valued and well looked after. An employee like him is a real asset to any hospitality business. On our daughter’s birthday, the hotel surprised her with a small cake and a candle, despite us not making any prior request. It was a thoughtful and touching gesture that made the day even more special. The hotel’s location is another great advantage – most of Rome’s main attractions are within walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. In summary, this is a clean, well-managed hotel with outstanding staff and an excellent location. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to others.

• Alan_and_Gill_Booth (8/5): Brilliant location and nice hotel just noisy at front - Room was at the front and was noisy all night, even with the window closed. So my advice would be to ask for a room further in the hotel. The location is brilliant, very close to most sights. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel bar didn't have any draught beers only bottles. The breakfasts are very nice although if you want something off the menu such as pancakes or an omelette then it's extra. Cuacallio (sp apologies) sorted us with a lovely coffee on arrival every morning which was a nice touch.

The location is great and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The air conditioning mode is pre fixed and locked. The temperature was too hot and the window was locked. They offered to change the room but it was our last night so we declined.
