• Gordon (8/5): Says what it is, an Okay Guesthouse. - As the name suggests, it was OK. The room itself was a little basic but clean. It is budget friendly accommodation and conveniently located for an enjoyable tuk tuk trip to Angkor Wat. The restaurant and pool area, however, could have been from a different hotel, very nice. Once we got back to the hotel in the evening we didn't feel the need to leave as it was a great spot to relax and unwind. The city view and satellite TV were not as described. In fact, the TV didn't even work, I don't travel to watch TV but it is quite nice to catch up on the news in the evening. Could only find one plug socket so the fridge needed to be unplugged when charging phones.

We changed rooms because the first room had ants and a giant dead bug. The next room had no air-conditioning. The third room was barely cool. We booked massages and the therapists showed up over half hour later than our appointment time. Stayed 4 nights and no room service. Had to ask for toilet paper, water and fresh towels on the third day.

The pool is great on the roof but the bar up there closes at 4 PM. The breakfast was basic. No one cleaned my room. The power went off in the middle of the night which made sleeping a bit difficult in the heat.

Pool and restaurant seating both a great space for down time. Room didn't have a ton of natural lighting, but most visitors are out at the temple all day anyway. Tuktuks waiting outside entrance for $2 US around town. ATM at entrance gives both USD & riel. Same day laundry service. Plastic bottles of water, so not great on the eco part of the survey. Comfy bed. Very quiet at night. Elevator. Large room. Modern facility. I would totally stay here again.

• Jonathan (7/5): A lovely base from which to explore Siem Reap. - The room was basic but suited our needs adequately. The hotel itself is up a small side-street, so quieter than other places. The pool & restaurant are on the top floor, offering a lovely view of the city. The breakfast was not a buffet, but it was quite nice. When we went out to early tours, they made us a box breakfast of bananas, water, & hard-boiled eggs with salt & pepper. Other places nearby had much better restaurants, so we didn't use the hotel restaurant for anything except breakfast.

You can only turn off the lights from the furthermost point from the bed. No electrical outlets near the bed. Internet in my room in the corner was about 25kb per second. Closer to the lobby it was 15 mb.

The hotel is old but bery well kept, no damage anywhere and you can tell they take care of it. The toilet in our room blocked so we reported it to reception, within 5 mins guy came in and sorted it. Facilities are clean and tidy. They clean the room everyday if you require. Rooms are well soundproofed you can hardly hear anything outside (we were next to the lift and it didn't bother us). Crap WiFi/Internet.

The building looks super authentic and a lot of effort was spent on the details. If you need a tuktuk driver to e.g. the angkor temples I would recommend Smey! His whatsapp number is +855967270752. He speaks perfect english, is 50 years old and knows a lot about history (ancient and war) and politics. You get unlimited free ice cold water. Very cheap price. The restaurant was closed (probably only open during peak season).

Even letting us use the pool after our chek out time. The rooms were comfortable and clean. If you need to go anywhere there will be tuktuk drivers right outside.

Could get refills of filtered water from reception to save on plastic waste. No restaurant / bar/ breakfast. Wasn’t the cleanest place (rubbish under bed on arrival.) Shower kept falling off wall.

The outside decoration with panel carvings and statues, balconies wrought iron work, is really beautiful and very Cambodian. They should have enough staff to manage the swimming pool bar. If there was the possibility of getting drinks and food there it would have been lovely. It's a shame as the bar is set up there but there's nothing in the fridges and no staff available. A shame that my window was onto another house !

Hotel is squeaky clean, rooms are good size, beds are comfortable, air conditioning works well, drinking water is provided, shower pressure is good all day. Rooftop pool is small but very nice. View form the pool is great especially during the sunset. Location is outside of the Siem Reap center, in a side street of a quiet neighborhood, with a variety of good restaurants within 10 min walk. For Pub street and river walk you need a ride that is only 5 min by tuk-tuk or Grab - both are always available and very cheap ($2 or less). 1. There is a temple right next to the hotel. If you are so unlucky (as we were for 2 days) that someone orders funeral services during your stay, you would be awaken at 4:30 AM by prayers that last until 9pm. Hotel isn't at fault but it is hard to swallow 2. Restaurant is closed = no breakfast. Next door is Cambodian eatery where you can get scrambled eggs. You have to walk for 5 min to get real coffee. The closest European/American breakfast that we found is 10 min away. 3. Warning - tiles in the pool are slippery

Friendly stuff, quiet at night, room was clean, air-conditioning was working fine, hot water in the shower. For us it was walking distance to the center but if for someone 20 minutes walking is too long - there are always some cheap tuk-tuks waiting in front of the hotel.

• Ei (9/5): Superb - We have a happy and wonderful moments for a stay. The staff are really helpful and friendly ,and they make us to stay comfortable. On the front desk, we always get a reliable information from them. Swimming pool is also clean and great.
• Paul (10/5): The lady on reception had such a beautiful presence. The price was great. The restaurant on the corner serves great fo - The staff were a joy. The pool area was amazing. I’d definitely recommend too other travellers.
• Chun (10/5): A budget choice for a perfect comfy holiday! - The staff are extremely welcoming and caring. They helped me out with every tiny aspect of my stay. The roof-top pool is also a perfect place to relax. The bed is very comfy and the room is very well equipped. It is also very close to many restaurants and within walking distance from the pub street.
