- renee (1/5): - Location and room was fine. The guest in the next room was yelling and screaming all night. A first she was yelling she felt unsafe, and didnt want to be here anymore, this sounding like a DV situation i phoned reception to call police, then it continued so I called police, when police arrive they asked her name DOB and address, the guest did not have a permanent address to exit too, they then asked if she was OK and to keep the noise down, also to pay for the milk and energy drink she had stolen from the kitchen pantry, police then told the guest if they came back she would have to leave, this was when it was clear this was not a DV situation as there was only 1 guest, she went quite for a couple of hours, after mightnight she then continued to yell and cry in the hallway every half hour. The guest's behaviour was evident she was not in a great mental state, and should not have been alone in a motel room.

- Robyn (7/5): Well located in busy commercial centre - Proximity to medical treatment rooms, shopping mall and cafes. Availability of an inhouse restaurant. Paid public car park parking effectively adds $15 a day to the cost of the accommodation. More than that parking places are hard to find because the carpark is adjacent to the Canberra Institute of Technology, shopping mall and a busy construction site.

- Ant (3/5): The worst Accommodation I have stayed in in Canberra..definitely not value for money - Location was convenient that’s the only positive Lack of facilities… no gym … outdated room decor… uncomfortable bed … the smell of cleaning chemicals was very unpleasant… old carpet pillows on the bed only 3 I asked for an additional pillow it took 2 hours to arrive….

- Geoff (5/5): Will not go back due to the parking issue. - Room was clean and comfortable but lacked some normal inclusions such as a phone. Netflix was included but you have to go through the motel's server which requires you to disclose your personal information. Parking was an issue, there is no motel parking, you have to hope there are spots in the paid parking area opposite the motel. We returned to the motel at about 6pm on Friday night and only found a car park because a car happened to be leaving as we went past them. Many people missed out and the only alternative was to try and find a parking spot at the Woden Shopping centre then walk to the motel.

- Julian (8/5): Good stay in hotel marred by unprofessional conduct of in house restaurant. - Handy location for medical appointments in Deakin and Woden. Reasonably price, clean and comfortable. Our stay was spoilt by the in house restaurant #10 closing without warning. We ordered and paid for room service dinner which never arrived. Next morning we were told they had processed a refund which has not been received a month later despite contacting them several times.

Good Kitchenette for longer stays. I did not request a Disabled Room. Hard Couch and only 1 seat. Hard Desk chair. No Drop off or Pick up Parking. No Bottled Water in Room or on QR Menu. I had to go downstairs to the Bar. Water pressure in Shower was low.

- John (7/5): Overall a good spot to stay. - The location was good and very convenient to shopping and a variety of places to eat. The hotel was quiet and mostly well maintained. The on site restaurant was not open for the entire weekend and it would have been good if this was pointed out before the booking. A bit of attention to cleaning would have been good particularly the elevators as there was nasal and throat ejections dried on the wall and this stayed for the entire 3 days.

- Rhon JG (9/5): Woden Abode good value - Changes to our plans meant we had to return quickly after already being here 4 nights and leaving for home. Staff helped us with booking, were very understanding and rooms as always very clean and comfortable with great facilities. It takes a little while to go the right way into Woden and not follow your GPS and ending up driving through the Bus Only interchange lanes and roadworks nearby. These roadworks have been going for at least 12 months and probably longer, but are not noisy, just annoying.

- Rhon JG (9/5): Abode at Woden always a comfortable stay - We are return customers here as the rooms are large with kitchen facilities and washing machine/dryer. Beds are comfortable and all is very clean. Easy walk to Westfield shopping centre with lots of food options. First stay of 4 nights this trip was well-priced through booking.com... we actually left for 1 night then had to return unexpectedly and stayed another 4 nights, booking daily. Not the best price each night but staff were understanding and helpful and it was worth a few extra dollars not to have to check out and check back in between 10 and 2. Recommend. It has taken us a while to get used to the parking which is a busy Council carpark across the road. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to run across at 8.30am and pay the machine for parking through the day. Nights, public holidays and weekends are free.

- Mike (8/5): Great location and presentation. - Great location, next to the Hellenic club. Lovely big room, very clean. The restaurant No 10 wasn't open for breakfast or dinner. Yes it was a public holiday, but just put a surcharge on . Huge crowd at Hellenic club, so they would have got the overflow. Please fix lift number three. Makes horrible scary noises.

- Nigel (7/5): Anzac weekend - Close to shops and transport links. after issues occurred, upgrade was provided Internet didn't work , then wifi kept cutting out when other room tried to connect to their devices, not advised on booking or checkin restaurant was closed friday evening till Tuesday morning. no instructions available for washer dryer, dryer didn't work.

- Adam (7/5): The Abode was good value for money for three of us and easy to access. - Good value for money. Parking was easy (across the road) and room was relatively clean. Dining chair was covered in chocolate stains. Queen bed was two single beds pushed together with a large divet in the middle of the bed as a result, so hard to sleep on. Towels smelt off. Bathroom had no exhaust fan.

- Susanne (7/5): I’m taking my own pillow if I stayed again. The above issues , aside from the parking , could make the stay much nicer - Good quiet location not far from Canberra central. Parking wasn’t a problem across the road however we were there on a weekend so not charged .. different story through the week. Don’t see the necessity for a washing machine ?? Nothing to wash or dry cups or cutlery & they were not replaced daily.. milk & tea or coffee not refreshed daily . Towels not refreshed either so annoying that you dried with a damp towel. Only bin was in the bathroom. Only one pillow each and one spare fat pillow.. don’t understand why big fat pillows are the only option so you wake with a sore neck

- Harding (7/5): - Close.to roads for travelling around. Close to woden athletic. Close to a park run and walking distance to big shopping centre and resturants No hotel gym No hotel parking. But tge parking across the road was suitable. Luck we didnt rack up bug parking bill
