- Verified traveler (8/5): Good budget spot - This is a nice budget resort. It’s a bit older, but the staff makes up for it. Really amazing and caring people. In our room our bathroom door didn’t close and one of the lights went out. The rest of the room was fine.

- andrea (8/5): Pics are misleading and needs a good scrubbing - The hotel pictures are misleading. It's not as nice as it looks, needs a good scrub. But, the pool was a great temperature. Family run business I think. They seem to live there. If I'd wanted to stay with a family that's what I would have looked for, not a hotel. But, we didn't chat to them so they pretty much ignored us. We had the do not disturb sign on the door, it was ignored. We didn't see a bar or restraunt while we were there
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable and inexpensive - We stayed in an ac room for 2 extra dollars Pros: staff was friendly, room was clean, and environment was quiet. Staff was nice and accommodating. Cons: expensive (all of koh samui is compared to the other islands). Just add about 10 baht to food and drinks and thats how much it is from koh tao or koh phangan to koh samui. Not hotels fault at all.
- Andrew (8/5): Charming place with a warm, homely feel - This hotel has character, charm and a very warm, homely feel. The online photos are very good but in reality it probably needs an upgrade of it facilities which are a little bit tired in places. Even so, I had a generally very pleasant stay and felt welcome here. The staff and family were very nice and helpful, they did their best to make me feel looked after. Unfortunately, the only exception was the young teenage girl who sometimes worked on reception in the morning, swept the floor and helped with breakfast. This girl perhaps should not be left to deal with customers, she possibly seemed too young to understand the importance of customer service. I had a few dealings with her along with other customers which could have been better. The rest of the staff were fantastic and always helpful.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great staff! - Not much in the area, but beach is a 5-10 minute walk away and you can get everything you need around. Good for relaxing.
- Leili (2/5): Avoid this hotel - Everything was poor, reception unhelpful, i just book this hotel with breakfast but thay do not give us breakfast :0 and hotel manager answered me by Lowliness, just the room was ok and pool is too small and not useable.
- LH (2/5): Not good enough - This is the second time I'm writing this review. Maybe bad reviews aren't allowed on? Especially if they complain about the service at hotels.com? We paid and booked in advance, then for an unknown reason got moved to the worst hotel imaginable. It was awful and we managed to get a refund.
- LH (2/5): Joke - We booked and paid for this hotel a month in advance, in anticipation of the busy Christmas period. For an unknown reason we got moved to the dirtiest, loudest and most unsavoury hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. As we arrived late at night we had no option but to stay the night at the alternative hotel. The hotel blamed hotels.com. We left for Bangkok the next morning and got a full refund. Don't trust Chaweng Noi.
