- Mike (1/5): Gross rooms with kind staff - The convenience and size of the rooms. Our room upon entering had urine in the toilet and a sticky substance on the sink. The beds look made but were obviously sleep in with debris and stuff on the pillow case. We did request to change the sheets ourselves and that was what we did. The second room we had was for my in-laws and the wifi didn’t work as well as the tv. Customer service tried to come fix it with no avail. She said they would send someone to fix it and didn’t send anyone. The room was very musty and stinks horribly. We have stayed at this hotel for a few years when we travel. This time we had the worst experience ever. They did say we could talk with the general manager and when we went to see the gm they were in a meeting. So much for that. Everything is documented on our rooms by the front desk staff.

- Heidi (1/5): Worst stay possible - The front staff was kind. The bathroom and beds were not clean. Upon entering the room there was urine in the toilet, sticky substance on the bathroom counter. The beds looked like the sheets were and pillowcases were dirty. We found hair and debris on the sheets. We had to request for new ones and change them ourselves. While sitting and chatting our light in the lamp started smoking as if it starting to catch fire. We took it to the front desk and shortly it was replaced. This is all documented by the front desk as well. We are frequent customers and have never experienced this kind of thing before. We will no longer stay at Comfort Inn when we come to visit family.

- Kim (2/5): The second shift front desk was amazing - We were given a room that was not clean. I’d rather nasty. My husband went up to the front desk, asked for another room, and the girl told him no that they would send to him down to vacuum our room. We had to leave to go to an event and we stopped at the desk and the Night Shift person with our own and she has us look at another room moved us right away. I explained to her we stayed back in January and had a wonderful stay, no problems. The girl who switched rooms was amazing. Dirty room and attitude of front desk
- Donald (4/5): Lack of cleanliness - We have stayed at this hotel for 4-5 days in April for the past three years. Cleanliness has definitely gone downhill over these years. Common areas were not clean. There was a spill of what looked like a soft drink on the floor by the ice machine when we checked in. It was still there when we checked out 5 days later. We did not see a single cleaning cart being used. Our room was never cleaned, despite the sticker on the bathroom mirror stating that for longer stays, rooms are cleaned after the third night. We will be looking for another hotel to stay in next year when we visit.

- Joel (3/5): 100% friendly staff, executive double bed suite was very spacious, great access to Fairfield Marriott hotel. - The staff was super friendly and the lemon water in the entrance was always cold. We totally got catfished by the photos on bookings dot com. The photos on bookings looked so fresh and clean. The pool and jacuzzi have been OOS since last summer and you will only find that information out on their direct website and not on 3rd party websites such as bookings and hotels dot com. That was such a big deal to me that I went next door to Fairfield Marriott and booked a small room just to use their facilities and eat their breakfast. Fairfield was far superior in every way and we will book there next year. The staff at Fairfield Marriott told us that Comfort Suites had been bought by Hilton and they are not making any improvements until Hilton takes over. While the rooms and hallways and main areas were decently clean at Comfort Suites, they were very dusty and outdated. A lot of rust around the vents, a ton of nail pops, mattress seems popped/ripped, wall stains, old (but cleaned) stains on carpet and curtains etc… Sounds like nit picking but you’ll have to see these things for yourself. The hallways smelled like a casino with cigarette smoke in the evenings.

Whole staff in this hotel is super nice. My room was clean and I was able to get a workout in the gym. Great experience and hope to comeback in the neat future!

The location was ideal for our needs, as we were visiting family in Marietta and Parkersburg. The interior is getting very worn. We have stayed here every year for the past 4 or so years, and it appears to be wearing down. The pool and spa were closed. The breakfast variety was minimal compared to years past - no sausage, no bacon, no eggs - the service personnel said they were waiting on the truck.

The staff was nice considering the card issues they were having for the room keys The room key card reader was not working. It would not let us in our rooms no many how many keys they made and tried. I know it was hard for the employees as well to have to keep unlocking doors for everyone to get back in their rooms.

The room was decent sized and appeared to be clean. the bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The sink was cracked which I mention because my "yardstick" is this. would I tolerate it in my home? nope. The bed was clean and comfortable. room lighting was good. The room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker and a decent sized TV. There were enough outlets for charging items near the bed. The AC worked well. Much to my disappointment both the pool and the hot tub were closed. That automatically loses a point when the website shows an amenity like that and it is not available. - Vanessa (1/5): I could never recommend this hotel—even to my worst enemy. - Close to downtown Marietta. That’s it. Dust covering every surface. Stains on sofa and bedding. Bedding NOT washed (ewww). Literally, black mold was growing in the walls (behind outlet in bedroom and in bathroom) Outrageously expensive for such a disgusting room.
- Linda (9/5): The room was quiet and comfortable and it was a pleasant experience. - The manager was extremely friendly and was working hard with other staff to make sure the property was ready for guests to check in and keep it neat and clean. The site was away from the highway and located near a golf course so it was quiet and scenic. There is easy access to I-77 and restaurants and gas stations. The basic breakfast items were there, but wished there had been prepared hot oatmeal instead of the packaged kind, and access to hot water to use that item was not convenient.

- Douglas (4/5): - Location The first day, the TV only had one channel. The person at the desk said there was nothing he could do. Then, the toilet wouldn't flush a piece of toilet paper. The desk person then changed my room. No hand soap, tv remote batteries were low, and there were areas in the hallway where I thought I was going to fall through.

- Brent (8/5): - There are no outside electric outlets anywhere to charge my boat. Cannot stay there anymore when fishing bass tournaments in that area. I fish around 10 tournaments in that area every year. So you are missing out on the tournament field of 40 boats. And there are two people per boat. Could be a lot of people looking to stay in area. Money missed.

The property surrounding the hotel was rather lacking in care. Many plants dead and others on their way. This property is definitely not high on their list.

Would have liked a first floor room as I had my little dog with me to take outside for a break a few times. - Max (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the hot tub! Slight smell when you enter room. I assume it's from wet feet from pool walking on carpet. Needs deodorized regularly. Black flakes in the bed between the sheets possibly from office chair which was peeling badly. Otherwise clean.
- Adam (4/5): - We have been stopping here for years, maybe 8. The last 2 years we have noticed a decline in condition. Dirty carpet, stained sheets, smell. The pool and jacuzzi were disgusting this year. The hot tub was like sitting warm toilet water. Unfortunately, this was our last time. With that said, better than other bargain hotels in the area and staff has always been great.

- Sharon (9/5): Good - Breakfast great. Good location to other businesses The fact motorcycles took over downstairs and parked under canopy. They roared bikes noise came in rooms. Had sleeping children. Did not feel they should have been that close to front of building.
- 430PaulW (10/5): We would stay here again. - We wanted to stay near Marietta, Oh. This hotel is minutes away and a straight shot to the downtown area. It is clean, friendly and comfortable. Breakfast is the normal fare. We liked the step in shower. Texas Roadhouse is a short walk across the parking lot. We would stay here again.

- Brenda (9/5): Meeting up with family - The hotel was easy to get to. Clean quiet at night. Breakfast was a standard as in most hotels. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. My only dislike isn't against the hotel but a Large, very loud family taking over the entire swimming pool and outside area. But I didn't complain to the staff as it was what it was...only 1 night for us as we passed through the area.

- Kay (4/5): - Room was a pet friendly room. We traveled with no pets. The room reeked of dog. Carpet stained in many places. Regret not requesting a different room thinking it would dissipate (old enough to remember smoking rooms), it did not. Public places also tired and in need of a refresh. That can be overlooked. A room stinking like wet dog, not so much.

So when we get home we have to wash all of our clothing to ensure we didn’t bring anything home with us
