Something that was also great about this place was the sky at night. The sky was black and filled with stars: it was just lovely!!! I will go back to this hotel in the future!

- Cynthia (8/5): A couples review - We really love this location, the employees were friendly for the most part, the accommodations were nice, the only thing I would suggest is that this hotel invest in better beds, I was aching every night, because it was uncomfortable to sleep in the bed. And the air conditioner was loud, making it hard to sleep. Everything else was fine.

- Maila (6/5): - When we arrived after 2 p.m. at the hotel, our room wasn't ready, although the hotel was almost empty (only us and another couple).The swimming pool area is under repair, but we wasn't informed previously about this situation. It looked totally abandoned. The waiter at the restaurant was in a hurry and served us coffee and food at the same time without giving us time to relax and enjoy the view.

There are better, more inexpensive dining options a short drive away, however the breakfast included was amazing! We had a very enjoyable and peaceful stay, and look forward to visiting again in the future.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was a nice property in a remoter area of the DR. They helped arrange tours. We went on the island tour and also the mangrove tour. Skip the island tour but please take the opportunity to swim in the mangroves. The restaurant was a little limited and the bed covers were noisy. But I would recommend a trip out there at least once.

There isn’t much entertainment and the food is good but expensive. They should have a food plan for people who are staying for more than 3 days. I had a group of 4 people and I spent about $200 a day in food. the breakfast menu was very limited and they didn’t have the yogurt and the fruits on the menu. Also the management is very rigid . I paid for 5 people and the manager refused to refunded the $99 for the extra person. My advice, they should try to keep the customers happy. I usually travel with 7 people in total and would go back if if they had more reasonable administrative staff. I spent a lot of money in food so they shouldn’t have a problem refunding the $99.

The price seemed excessive for this part of the region, but it's probably justified because they are most likely the one with the best quality installation, nice pool, nice deck, the staffs were great. The WiFi sort of sucked thou. And no WiFi service in the rooms. They have No nightlife activities in the hotel such as live music. The food/breakfast fell a little short. We even skipped breakfast the following morning & ate somewhere in the town. Overall, is a very nice hotel, not cheap, offers the Mediterranean feelings, privacy and quietness.

- yuk-fan renee (8/5): Don't miss Nature orchestra in El Morro - El Morro is a hotel situated right in the National Park, 5 min. drive to reach the top , from there you will see the cliff, sedimentary rocks and red-fine-sandy and unpolluted beach! Hotel provide ATV rental USD 8/hour, free bike rental and some eco tours. Manager can speak English, French, Spanish, nice and friendly. Food at the cafeteria is reasonably priced and delicious. Breakfast is included, can order eggs any style. Nature orchestra from unknown insects, birds,rodents are beautiful, conducted from night to early morning.

The hotel would have a nicer view of the ocean if the trees were trimmed down since there is not much to at he hotel. We dis have a freat dinner at a restaurant that is close by before arriving at the hotel called costa mar. The food there was really good. I
