• blythe (5/5): - Laundry service available. Staff very friendly. Shower was moldy. Water flies out of shower and onto floor and you can see that has caused a lot of damage. Room was too hot and no screens on windows.

• Amanda (9/5): Comfy stay, nice staff - The hotel is a bit outdated but facilities are comfy and make you feel at home. Very comfortable and spacious bed. Clean place. Breakfast was ok but extra for eggs. Mathias from reception was very kind and supportive. Rooms can be a little bit noisy when opening and closing doors. In my room there was a light outside just across the window that was never turned off so the light came in the room. Temperature of shower was hard to balance.

• Ingo (4/5): Not again - It seems to be a nice place from the outside. The were ok. Too far away from the city center. The breakfast was really bad. The toaster was broke. So you have to choke on dry bread because the place has only one toaster?? Get on from the surrounding hotels maybe?? No eggs. Some fruits and fruit loops. For 100EUR the night… not good at all. At the check-out nobody asked if it was fine. Sorry, but that was our expirience.

• Sabrina (2/5): No volvería - Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación y que afortunadamente solo fueron dos noches. El ruido de la habitación, me tocó la primera y hay una puerta donde pasan todos los huéspedes a sus habitaciones. No podía dormir ya que se abría y cerraban todo el tiempo. Ruido del techo por los que caminaban en la habitación de arriba. Ruido de los autos que llegaban o se iban. Ruido de los pájaros. Me alojé dos noches y fueron las peores ya que nunca pude descansar. El trato del personal. Desayuno escaso. Por el precio de la estadia fue malisimo que ofrezcan mini rodajas de frutas. En el baño se estancaba el agua. No cambiaron las toallas, puse a cambiar una toalla y la doblaron sucia y húmeda.

• alex (1/5): Mala experiencia - Lamentablemente nada. Mala la atención, no se respetó el precio de Booking, de seguro la pieza que reserve se la dieron a otro. Fui con mis 2 pequeños (5 y 2 años) y como éramos 4 tuve que pagar un adicional y eso que siempre hablé de 4 personas. la señora de lentes en la entrada no es cordial, la del desayuno tampoco(la canosa), la habitación la plancha del techo está que cae, baño no tiene ventana ni extractor, está lleno de bichos parece insectario, arañas, tijeretas, baratas, mariposas muertas. El hotel queda lejos del centro, no te puedes tomar un café o algún espacio que puedas compartir algo más relajado. Estacionamiento acceso malo, una cuesta empinada que solo 4x4 te ayuda en caso de un vehículo pesado.

Amenities provided were good .the staff were excellent and a shout out laudinha who went out of her way to assist in our evey need ..always smiling pleasant and helpful .the bed linen was pristine clean and crisp. The breakfast was adequate and sufficiently filling . There was no hot breakfast .but even the dining staff were extremely pleasant and helpful .I would recommend this hotel The hotel is on the main street however it is a 10 to 15 min walk from the cbd. Having a car made the stay even more memorable.adequate parking. Check in was easy and fast It was an alpine lodge and as one would expect of an alpine lodge has certain quirks The 10 to 15 walk from the cbd But I was aware of this at the time of booking.

• Shalini (8/5): We spent 4 lovely nights in this property and all the staff were brilliant. Mathias, Ramiro and the 2 ladies at the rece - The location and the staff!! The view from the reception lounge is amazing and the staff (reception, breakfast and cleaning staff) are extremely service minded, friendly and helpful. The location of this property is lovely and it has so much potential but the rooms need a bit of love and attention. Broken window latches and dustbins are easy fixes. The rooms are clean and the sheets nice and crisp.

• Sophie (7/5): Gut für einen kurzen Stopp - Die Nähe zum See, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, es gab von allem ein bisschen was. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in El Calafate ideal. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, Richtung Straße, das war leider sehr laut. Generell war unser Zimmer sehr hellhörig, gerade zum Gang hin. Unser Bett war sehr kurz, auch wenn wir nicht übermäßig groß sind, war es sehr knapp.

Muy pocas opciones saludables, casi todo panadería dulce, cereales todos.....con azúcar. Muy poco variado.

• Gilles (9/5): Lar Aike is a very nice hotel. - Lar Aike is a very nice, spacious hotel. The entrance hall and salons have these large chairs and divans with a wonderful view on the lake. The price to pay for this great view is that it is a little far from the downtown area. There are some nice restaurants within a short walk though and the boardwalk that goes along the lake is just across the street. There is a grocery store, bakery and deli not too far! Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good in a nice large dining room. The staff was very nice and helpful. I certainly recommend Lar Aike for the view and comfort.
