- SIXUAN (1/5): Got stolen, do not recommend - The house itself was very beautiful What a disaster, do not recommend. We originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying only the first night. My father’s watch, cash, pen, and even nail clipper got stolen on site. I have no idea how this villa qualified as a 5-star property. For the price they charged, the house and the pool were small and had no views. The cleanliness was way below standard. The bath towels were tired and had a foul smell. The bedding in my parents’ room had bits of dirt/sand and hair, and one of the pillow cases had black mold dots. The kitchen sink was not clean, and the electric kettle had a sheet of dust covering. Immediately the evening we checked in, I asked the staff to cancel my next 2 nights and left the property for dinner. When we came back, she told me I could cancel the entire reservation and pay the fine as for our first night’s stay and I agreed to let all the uncleanliness go as long as I can get my next two-nights’ money back. Yet in the morning, my dad realized his watch and cash (last seen in the villa) got stolen. We checked the house multiple times, refusing to believe anyone would do this. Finally I told the staff what happened and asked to see the owner, but the staff completely stonewalled me, refusing to let me talk to the owner – saying that he had a meeting in Jakarta. I told the staff that this was serious, and I needed to talk to the owner immediately. And this staff started yelling in a language I could not understand – it got very scary, note that she was a small lady and I am female, too. Finally the owner came (where was the so-called Jakarta meeting?), he and another staff took us to the police station and filed a report. The owner agreed to refund our cancellation fee as an apology. And yesterday when we left Bali, still there were no news. Frankly, losing grossly 7000 USD worth of belongings in a so-called 5-star accommodation is unacceptable. This property is not safe based on my experience, and definitely not worth the price.

A small scale operation with amazing staff! - Amazing service, beautiful, quiet, secluded location where you can hear insects and birds sitting outdoors. North of Ubud town, so away from the hubub. The staff make a lovely breakfast every day - highly recommend the Indonesian breakfast. There is no restaurant on site, but you can easily order grab (or other) delivery and the kind staff at the villa will bring the food down to you.

Some sculptures are freaking scary, the smell of old furniture is all around. We booked for three nights, but we only slept one.

The room we booked should have been 350m2 according the Booking.com profile, however it was not even close. 2 small bedrooms and a living room - and only the 2 bedrooms had aircondition. Another note is that the profile also stated that the place had a restaurant but thats not true, as the staff is taking orders and then you'll have to wait 1,5 hours to get the food. That didn't work at all with 3 small kids.

Bathroom basin tap is flimsy and toilet is very dirty and lots of stain mark. Overall the there are dust in the property. I think the owner needs to be addressed and money I’ve spent is not worth my stay.

Sometimes ants and birds found their way to the villa)) but we didn’t see it a problem. it has kitchen, so we even cooked there. It was nice to have dinner with a family in front of the the pool. The pool is good for kids. villa is surrounded with rice terraces、situated in a quiet place, within a reach of grab taxis. The staff was very attentive and kind, they prepared nice breakfasts for us and even earlier than normal breakfast time when we had to leave for the airport. safe and cable TV didn’t work
- Nadia (10/5): Wonderful stay in a luxurious villa - Marvellous luxury villa in a quite area next to rice paddies fields. Very unique place all in wood , Balanise style, high ceiling. beautiful decorated, nice artwork, felt like spending the night in the museum.Loved the outdoor shower and the very special attached bathroom. After sweaty days visiting all the sites in Ubud, we really enjoyed cooling down in the small but reasonable size private swimming pool. But more than the place, was the staff Ayu and Putri, they made our stay so enjoyable with a very nice breakfast and afternoon tea trying local delicacies. They were very discreet but always there when needed them, so efficient. The only inconvenience was a very poor Wi Fi. Only accessible next to the router and only for one person at the time . was not a deal breaker for us as it forced us to stay off the web.

Well equipped Beautiful Villa with a private pool satisfying our needs as a family with 2 young daughters. Delicious Breakfast with variety of fresh balinese flavors that we enjoyed taking on the dining table of our villa every morning. Special thanks to Ayu and Agung who were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. They were always ready to take care of everything we ask for. Hopefully, We'll have the opportunity to visit Bali again and stay in this same charming place.

- Kara (10/5): A private and beautiful villa! - Private facilities. Historical and cultural decor. Every part of the villa is so beautiful! The hotel can arrange everything from food, getting around with a driver, airport pick-up service and hotel transfer, and massages. The villa has drinking water, afternoon tea and snacks, and a kitchenette where guests can cook. We'll be glad to come back for a longer stay! Ayu and her staff are great!

The villa had a very unique Balinese style . it was very spacious. very nice sized swimming pool. the staff was amazing . everyone was friendly and welcoming . even surprising us with an afternoon tea and great banana bread . can highly recommend it. nothing . all was perfect
