- Omar (10/5): Quaint B&B. Comfortable Bed. Delicious Breakfast. - Rusty and Jennifer are superb hosts. The house is beautiful and nicely decorated. The bed is very comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyably delicious.
- Mike (10/5): Rockport Gem - Have been traveling to Rockport for many years, staying 30-35 days while flyfishing in the fall. Harvey dramatically changed the landscape and lodging and dining choices, and that led me to Angel Rose and Rusty and Jennifer. What a great surprise and delight - plan to stay there regularly !
- Brigette (8/5): Lovely Historic Home Stay at The Angel Rose - We enjoyed our stay very much at the Angel Rose. It was a lovely, quiet place to spend a couple of days, warm and inviting. We enjoyed visiting with the hosts and the guest, whom had many different backgrounds. The breakfasts were delicious, and hardy, with great coffee and served in the formal dining room of the home. The hosts were very helpful with information about the community, shopping and great local restaurants.
We have thought a lot about this sweet home on our Texas coast, and hope for a quick recovery for the home and it's owners. We highly recommend the Angel Rose, and will certainly return for another visit.
- Randy (8/5): All was very good - A very lovely and romantic B&B. All was very nice except the bed that was uncomfortable and noisy when either of us moved around during the night. The environment was perfect and lots to do nearby. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed it very much
- Ruby (10/5): Elegant Home built in 1800's - Beautifully furnished Victorian home. The owners are onsite and available, friendly and welcoming. And the meals are delicious.
- Rhonda (10/5): Short getaway to Rockport - Although we only stayed 1 night, we were warmly welcomed by the proprietors and got a local history of the house and area as a bonus.
- Loren A (10/5): A wonderful place to stay! - Very enjoyable stay. Beautiful home, fantastic history and decor, quaint rooms, and delectable breakfast. My wife and I will definitely be staying again.
- Karen (10/5): Angel Rose gets a 10! - Rusty & Jennifer were excellent hosts. The beautiful residence is in the center of town, near everything. They directed us to great restaurants and places for dinners, deserts, and refreshments. We look forward to visiting them again.
- Pegster (8/5): A Great Stay
- A great experience. Don't let the ghost stories scare you away. This is a beautiful Christian home. Breakfast was a tasty treat with the best cup of coffee, fresh fruit, and delish french toast. Save a little bacon for Lacey. She is a charmer. The pictures of the home are well represented to the website.
- Janet (10/5): Rockport gem!
- Welcoming hosts who are knowledgeable about Rockport and Gulf coast, as well as its history, and are eager to share what they know. We staying in downstairs bed with king size bed which was furnished in period furniture but I didn't feel like I was on a movie set! Private bathroom with 4 foot claw foot tub, with awesome water pressure for great shower. Breakfast was the best-ever fruit mixture and tasty eggs Benedict- hosts were good about asking for personal preferences. Look forward to returning!
- Linda (10/5): Angel Rose Bed & Breakfast - This is a lovely Bed & Breakfast in a great location, walking distance to trendy local shops and a Wine Tasting Room as well as walking distance to the gulf and bay. The owners were friendly and accommodating.
- Lisa (10/5): Lovely house, wonderful breakfast, great host. - Chose this place because my husband & I wanted a quiet getaway near Corpus Christi. The house is historic and beautiful. The proprietor captivated us with a tour of the premises and its colorful history. He was very friendly (and patient with us as we lost the key to our room during the first hour exploring the neighborhood! ) Delicious homemade breakfast and very clean accommodations. We enjoyed hiking the shoreline which is within walking distance. You can also rent bikes from the B&B. There are several small shops, local artist galleries, eateries and a cute local aquarium which is free. This place is great for a laid back weekend escape.
- Nancy (10/5): - This B&B was wonderful. Comfortable bed, quiet neighbourhood and excellent gourmet breakfasts. You even get a history of Rockport as told by Rusty after your first breakfast. I highly recommend this for your visit to any of the Aransas, Corpus Christ area.
- Sean and Michel (10/5): Could not have been happier. - We absolutely love Angel Rose! The home is gorgeous. Very clean, very comfortable. Breakfast both mornings was delicious, complete with a fruit parfait with grapefruit from the tree in the backyard. Jennifer and Rusty are two of the nicest people you could ever know. We are already planning a return trip to one of our new favorite cities, Rockport, Texas!
- Verified traveler (10/5): So Nice - Close to the beach, like staying at home if I lived in a Victorian Mansion.
- Brandon (10/5): Excellent stay would highly recommend - We were welcomed into their house as soon as we arrived. It was a wonderfully restored Victorian house. I am looking forward to staying again.
- Larry (10/5): Nice first time B&B
experience - Very well decorated with nice mix of modern convenience and reflections of the period of history of the house -very comfortable with friendly and accommodating hosts. Breakfast was great and coffee was excellent.
- Janelle (10/5): Gorgeous Victorian home in a great location - Just walking up to the hotel, we were impressed with the attention to landscaping, and the darling covered porch. The manager of the place was knowledgeable about the history of the building and could give interesting details about the home. It is just a block from the historic downtown area, that has local bead, art, gift, home, and coffee shops. Once we parked our car to register, we never started it again til we left. Everything is close enough to walk and even better if you bicycle. If you can't bring your own, they have rentals at the hotel. Our room and bathroom were clean and well-appointed. The only reason I could not give it a 5 for comfort was due to the bed itself. It was just not as comfortable and the bed was pretty squeaky. The proprietor made a delicious fruit salad, bacon, and blueberry waffles for breakfast. I have been to other bed and breakfasts that gave more variety each day and a bigger breakfast. My husband was not a fan of the waffles, but both of us loved the fruit salad. The other guests mentioned that he had made marvelous Eggs Benedict the previous day. Overall, we were happy with our stay and will enjoy a return stay.
