Morton and Una were very friendly and their hospitality was exceptional. They even gave us a lift to the wedding venue! The breakfast they put on was also fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

The best B&B we've stayed in - highly recommended

• Margaret (10/5): - This place is wonderful. Must be the 3rd or 4th time ive stayed. Large, warm comfortable room with everything you could need. Good nights sleep. Great en-suite with loads of piping hot water. Owner has just thr right level of friendly and welcoming, with unobtrusive and leaving you in peace. The area is quiet. There are shops, take aways and places to eat near by and its handy for travel to Ayr and around Ayrshire. Prices very reasonable. I love it. And as a tea addict, extra huge points for providimg not just tea and coffee in the room, but a tea pot as well! Such a happy stay. Highly recommended.

• Andrew (10/5): A nice little place - When we first arrived Una met us at the door and offered to help us with our bags. Shortly after that, we went for supper at a nice little restaurant down the street followed by a treat at the ice cream parlor. Both of these are a very short walk from the B and B. I have a few dietary restrictions and next morning's s breakfast was well accommodated and very delicious. Una was a super friendly hostess. 5 stars + for sure.

Una went above and beyond all expectations to meet our needs as tourists and we appreciate everything she did, The well appointed room was spacious, bed comfortable and the breakfast excellent. She was also helpful with suggestions of what to see and do. Thank you Una and Moreton.
• Ken (10/5): Convenient and comfortable - The B&B is close to Mauchline town centre and its Burns connections such as Poosie Nancies and the churchyard. It is a small family owned establishment with an accent on good service. Our room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
• Richard (10/5): Stay at Ardwell B&B - best in the area. - I can highly recommend Ardwell B&B and will stay there again. £35 per night for a Friday and Saturday is excellent value for money and beats many other Hotels in the area. This included a marvellous full breakfast with a cereal option. When I said how good the breakfast was I was given more. I said I was visiting the area to see family and eat slice sausage and is was part of the breakfast the next day!! Should really have kept this place a secret and not shared it with you. Will struggle to get in when everyone knows how good it is.

A pot of tea with cake and biscuit greeted us each day on our evening arrival, and we were given helpful information about the area. Breakfasts were brilliant.

• Alan (10/5): Lovely B&B with lovely staff - We stayed at Ardwell B&B and had a lovely and relaxing stay. Una who runs this B&B was extremely polite & pleasant and allowed us if possible early access. Their are stairs approx ten to the top and we had a very large spacious room too the left which has three beds in it, two single and a double plus an en suite bathroom. I was extremely pleased with all and we even had a pass key so if needed we could stay out a bit longer with know problems upon our return. Their is another room directly at the top off the stairs facing you but with both under lock & key their were know issues. The only thing I would say was that I did hit my head on the slanting wall which I know seems silly to point oint out but this I think should have been the only thing I can think off that was not mentioned. The breakfast in the morning was simply superb and I would given this, the house and its location was well worth the value.
