• Michael (10/5): Loved the hotel and friendly staff - It had old world Thai charm, although the decor would not suit everyone, the staff were super friendly and it was pet friendly, so our Pomeranian enjoyed it as well, breakfast was excellent, and the whole stay was very good value. We will definitely stay there again.
• Beata (10/5): - Beautiful and spacious rooms, very clean, nice and relaxed atmospehere. It is tucked away in a quiet street, far from any noise. There is a free shuttle service into the centre which was very helpful. The bed mattress is very hard.
• LL1978 (10/5): Hotel familial au top de la convivialité - Tout, personnel formidable, ils m ont invite a meter songkran 3 jours avec eux, me demande tous les jours s il faut me conduire quelque part, si je souhaite manger, etc je n ai jamais eu un personnel aussi attention. La piscine est top, l equipment est complet, seche cheveux etc...clim impeccable, ventilateur au dessus du lit pour ceux qui n aiment pas la clim, je n ai manque de rien. L emplacement est assez eloigné mais est au calme...le petit dejeuner est basique mais vous pouvez choisir a la carte moyennant supplement

Delicious made to order breakfast each day, even packed some to takeaway when we had a morning tour! Resort without the resort prices! We felt like family! • Elisabeth (9/5): Petit havre de paix pour quelques jours - Les hôtes sont aux petits soins, ils sont venus me chercher et m'ont ramenée à l'aéroport gracieusement. Ils parlent très bien anglais. La guesthouse est très jolie, tout en bois, elle est bien entretenue. La piscine est de bonne taille pour nager, il y a aussi des équipements pour faire du sport. C'est très calme. Le petit déjeuner est varié et délicieux. On peut déjeuner ou dîner aussi sur place, peu de plats mais ils sont fait maison et sont bons. Il y a la possibilité de louer une moto en très bon état sur place, utile pour se rendre en centre ville qui est à 10 bonnes minutes. Ils proposent aussi une navette gratuite pour se rendre dans la vieille ville toutes les heures. Rien

Le petit dej inclus dans la chambre est hyper basique et minimaliste. Il y a une carte avec de beaux petits dej à disposition sans indication de prix, c’est trompeur car tout est payant! Breakfast was excellent, as were other meals that i purchased. Great variety & free coffee, fruit & snacks throughout the day. • Kyle (10/5): Choose De Wiang Kum Kam! - They have a driver that will drop you off at old town. It was very convenient. The hostess spoke very well in English. I hurt my back just before I came to Thailand, and the hostess was able to arrange a traveling masseuse to come to the hotel. It helped my back and made it easier to move around the city. Overall, choose this place! You won't be let down. Best place I've stayed in Thailand.

Nette Fahrer, Zimmerservice, schöner Tempel nebenan. Es dauert recht lange, bis man das Frühstück bekommt. Man ist 15 Minuten Autofahrt ab vom Zentrum. Der Balkon, der Pool, die Außenanlage könnten mehr gepflegt sein.

• Dmitry (7/5): - The place is in a quiet remote location in the suburbs of Chiang Mai, next to a Buddhist temple and not far from temple ruins where ancient Chiang Mai was first built. The grounds are spacious, with ample parking, a clean swimming pool, and a large dining room for breakfast. The staff were super helpful! The main problem we had was shower+toilet+sink combined in one side of the bathroom with the drain next to the door in the other corner. There was no curtain, so I needed to take care not to spray any water on the toilet paper roll for example. After you shower, your feet will get wet every time you take a piss or want to wash your hands. Very impractical and annoying. The room in which we stayed had unrepaired water damage on the walls and on the floor behind the bed. There were a lot of plaster worms on the walls, which doesn't bother me too much, but it's obviously not getting cleaned thoroughly.

• Joe (10/5): The best place to stay in all of Thailand! - Mai and the other staff were so accommodating, they made us feel at home. Mai spoke very good english and was happy to help us with all of our requests and questions. The rooms were cleaned daily, they were very spacious and they gave us fresh bottles of water and topped up the mini bar every day. The pool area and restaurant were great. The breakfast was amazing and they offered free lifts to areas around chiang mai as well as bicycles, a trike and scooters. They also offer food at lunch and dinner time which was convenient, tasty and fairly priced. Not much of a view from the room, but everything else was so great we weren't bothered!

• Peter (10/5): - War erschrocken, als ich an der Straße vor dem Haus stand. Es sah aus wie ein Baumhaus mit schweren Holztüren, die mit einem Vorhängeschloss abgesperrt waren. Die Begrüßung war herzlich und als die Türe zu meinem Zimmer geöffnet wurde, kam ich aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus. Ein tolles Zimmer mit Balkon und sehr bequemem Bett und ein sauberes Bad. Herz, was willst du mehr. Frühstück prima und Abendessen gibt's auch. Im Parterre hat man vom Balkon keine Aussicht. Man schaut gegen eine Mauer vom Tempel. Hat mich aber nicht weiter gestört.

• Michelle (10/5): Beautiful laid back hotel where the owners go above and beyond for their guests. - If I could give this place an 11 I would. Mai & Kam cannot do enough for their guests. The hotel is amazing, bringing the outside in with an open plan, airy, free flowing laid back vibe. The room was spacious and spotless with a huge bed and private balcony. Breakfast is cooked to order and was delicious. Kam runs an hourly drop off into the old town as it’s slightly too far to walk. Really quiet and peaceful with a pool for cooling dips. Free bikes and buggy for exploring the local area and scooter hire. You can even have a massage if you want. Free snacks and coffee 24/7. Great value for money and would highly recommend.

• Audrey-S (10/5): Sérénité - Tout, l'ambiance, l'établissement, la famille qui le gère et que je remercie encore pour leur gentillesse. Chambre spacieuse, très agréable avec tv, mini-frigo et clim. Par contre, prévoir masque pour les yeux car les rideaux ne sont pas occultants. Pour le bruit, je ne sais pas, je dors avec des bouchons d'oreille. Le lit était dur mais ça ne m'a pas dérangé. Petit dej au top. Il y a même une desserte avec café, thé, fruits et biscuits à disposition jour et nuit pour les encas. Piscine agréable, un vrai plus! On a le droit à un trajet par jour (inclus) ce qui est très pratique que ce soit pour aller en ville ou à l'aéroport (pour le retour, les VTC font très bien l'affaire). En supplément, j'ai réservé un massage dans ma chambre et la masseuse était géniale, à l'écoute et efficace! J'ai adoré, je reviendrai! Rien

Die Lage ist wunderbar da es in der Nähe alte Ruinen gibt. Auch das man vom Hotel umsonst in die Stadt gebracht wurde ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Dankeschön für alles. Das Bett ist einfach zu hart trotz Topper. Ansonsten alles perfekt.
• Harrie (9/5): Sympathiek en rustig - Alles is aanwezig: fan, airco, hordeuren. Mooi vormgegeven, open. Verwacht geen 5-sterren hotel maar eigenlijk is dit veel leuker. Echt boutique. Vervoer naar de stad en naar het vliegveld is kosteloos. Het personeel is heel behulpzaam: wasservice, repareren van een broek, tips in de omgeving. Bed is beetje hard. Ook moet je geluk hebben met rustige buren. Het ligt buiten de stad maar in een mooi historische wijk. Staan filmpjes ervan op Youtube.

• Veronika (10/5): - The room was spacious, clean (cleaned every day!), comfortable and beautiful, the breakfast was great and on top there is a free shuttle dropping me off at the old city (the taxi on the way back is only 2 Euros, so the location was perfectly fine). The staff is incredibly attentive and kind, always going out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible, always with a smile on their face. I was able to rent a scooter whenever I needed it and was able to visit all the places I wanted to see whilst still chilling on the comfy lounge chairs at the pool reading my book every now and again. I really enjoyed my stay here! -

Ils nous ont amenés à chaque fois que nous leurs avons demandé à l’endroit souhaité. Le petit déjeuner est extrêmement bon. Un peu éloigné du centre, mais la gentillesse du personnel n’a pas de prix. La chambre très belle, est très mal insonorisée et les rideaux sont trop fins et laissent passer tout le soleil le matin, compliqué pour se reposer.
• Thomas (8/5): Will return - Great wonderful friendly staff. Nice cooked to order breakfast. Nice pool. Comfy bed. Smokers at breakfast. Noise from surrounding properties. Lots of kids running around. Small leak in ceiling of bathroom.
• John (10/5): Friendly. Incredible place to be - Wow where do i start. Arrived at the beautiful traditional / quirky home. I would not say hotel this more like a home. Mai who is just off the charts amazing made you feel so welcome, like a family member returning home is was that welcoming. The way this has been designed it's like they built it around nature not the other way round which makes you appreciate the attention that the owners have for the natural surroundings. The breakfast in the morning, definatley a great way to start the day a lot of choice and all freshly cooked. They put the guests totally first, there is nothing that they would not do or provide to make your stay the best time. I know all reviews are from a personal prospective but for me i could not have chosen a better place to be. Was very sad to leave but 100% will be going back very soon. Nothing, absolutely nothing to dislike.

• Damian (10/5): - Great hotel, rooms spotlessly clean and cozy, cleaned daily also towels changed daily. Delicious breakfasts, with bar open 24/7 with coffee and tea. Great pool to relax by. Very friendly and helpful personel. Good value for money. A small minus only is that it's quite far from the city center, but taxi fares are reasonable, around 200 baht. I definitely recommend it.
• John (10/5): - I'm now staying for longer. It's a wonderful, peaceful chilled place to stay. All in house staff cannot do enough for you. I cannot recommend highly enough. The design and layout is beautiful. Alot of tradition with quirks. Breakfast choice and all freshly cooked. Great way to start your day or walk 5 meters and relax by the pool. Definitely will be back. Nothing. Everything amazing.
