- Richard (10/5): - Cracking location, secure parking, several bar areas to choose from, lovely food and drink. My bathroom hadn’t been cleaned completely - the toilet needed a clean.
- Colin (8/5): - Food was good
- David (9/5): Comfortable accommodation in a central location - Great central location in a small Welsh town and our favourite hotel when we are in the area. Also very friendly staff. Could not think of anything negative except the weather but unfortunately the hotel has no remedy for that.
- Leonie (10/5): Brilliant - Lovely place to stay, the staff & owner Tracy were very welcoming . Room was super comfortable and the food by owner chef Dafydd was out of this world, we purposely came here for my 65th birthday while travelling the UK. And we were not disappointed. Highly recommend coming to this little town. We only stayed one night !
- Paul (8/5): -
- Williams (9/5): Relaxing and peaceful - I ordered scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and it was delicious, eggs done just how I like them. Didn't understand the Sunday lunch.and not catered for veggies.
- Arnold (10/5): -
- Duncan (9/5): Loved it, surrounding area is astonishing, we’ll be back. - Food good, staff were all lovely and kind, I made a booking error which they dealt with brilliantly.
It’s a great place.
- Stone (8/5): Exactly what we wanted - Great breakfast, superb evening meal.
I left my toilet bag in my room when I left and it was posted to me very quickly, well happy with the help I was given, great staff.
- Sabine (7/5): - Nice clean rooms and friendly staff Noisy neighbours
- Peter (10/5): - Plenty of parking, friendly staff, clean rooms and nice food. Will stay again.
- John (9/5): Comfortable, clean very enjoyable - Great attentive staff. Clean spacious room. An amazing shower, powerful and as hot as you can want it. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a good breakfast. Recommend highly and would stay again Noting really to fault about our stay.
- PETER (9/5): - Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Bar service was good. Would recommend this hotel. There was nothing we didn’t like about this hotel.
- andrea (10/5): - Very welcoming and friendly. Room was modern, well presented and had good quality refreshments provided. We took our two dogs and the hotel was accommodating and there was access for dog friendly walks. Nothing was excellent
- Amanda (9/5): Revisiting an old favourite and we weren't dissapointed - Revisiting an old favourite and we weren't dissapointed. We can recommend Room 11 - a large modern room in the new/separate part of the building. Staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel is dog-friendly and thoughtful touches were in the room for our dog as well as for us. It is an unusual combination but the pub/hotel seems to be the hub of the town and popular with locals, yet the menu is far more hotel than pub and really quite refined but quite excellent too! Well played Y Talbot - keep doing what you do. Having our dog with us meant we could only eat in the bar and not in the (posher) restaurant but it wasn't a problem on this occasion.
- Abigail (10/5): - Staff were amazing. Attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful and classic, everything you need under one roof! Nothing jot to like! Just be advised when visiting this area, taxis are hard to come by.

- Nicola (9/5): - Huge rooms, everything very clean, very friendly and accomodating staff. Nothing

- Kristof Geerts (8/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): -
- John (10/5): A real supprise. Professionally run hotel. With staff rooms and restaurant to match. - Modern rooms that include aspects of the building heritage. We never (ever) normally stay in hotels that mention ‘dog friendly’ we don’t want to sleep in a room that has had animals in or constant yapping. This is not a reflection on our experience here, I suppose it’s luck of the draw.
- Laura (9/5): -
- JULIAN (9/5): Excellent all round - Food and drink superb. Accommodation extremely comfortable. Staff absolutely lovely. The modern restaurant is a bit bright and formal. We ate (same menu) in the pub/bar which is cosier, has much more character, beautiful slate floors and open fires
- Hannah (10/5): -

I’m not sure if the room was supposed to be serviced on a 2 night stay but it wasn’t . Not an issue as we are fairly tidy anyway and there was enough tea and coffee to keep us going.

- Jon (9/5): A lovely New Year stay in peaceful Tregaron! - Great hotel with wonderful staff. Good sized en suite room overlooking the town centre. Very comfortable bed and good range of tea/coffee and biscuits. Parking at the rear for 5 to 6 cars and on street parking straightforward. The Talbot is clean and tidy with two bars and guest dining room plus other areas. Our (NYE) dinner was excellent! We liked everything about The Talbot and will consider staying there again.
- Kelly (8/5): Great stay and excellent breakfast - Fabulous hotel, it was our second stay here can’t fault it staff are lovely very helpful, we stayed in the penthouse this time and the updated rooms are worth that little bit extra. It’s a great location. Can’t think of anything not to like!
