• Paula (7/5): Correcto precio calidad - Ubicación céntrica. Entorno muy bonito, parece que estés en el bosque. Toallas limpias. Cocina correcta. Habitación algo pequeña y muy anticuada. Deberían hacer alguna mejora. Lavabos mejorables. En la ducha hay una cortinilla y se sale todo el agua, podrían poner mampara de cristal. Así como algún gel para la ducha. El último día nos robaron un bañador que teníamos colgado secando como el resto de clientes.

Das Zimmer verfügt über eine Kühlschrank, Deckenventilator, Tee, Kaffee etc. Genügend sanitäre Anlagen und kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden Sanitäre Anlagen hätten minimal sauberer sein können

• Karen Luara (10/5): - I really liked to stay at Magnum hostel. The location is exceptional, it is in the middle of everything and really close to the Airlie beach Lagoon. Stuffs were really friendly and Magnum's Bar was always busy and with Live music everyday, so you will never be bored. I really liked the design of the cabines, specially because is a shared bathroom, but very clean and never packed, because each cabine has it own bathroom. Kitchen was really clean as well. I will recommend for sure this place.

Bottom Floor/Noisy neighbour - upstairs footsteps were quite noticeable. I wish there was taps in the room. I wish there was basic condiments like salt, pepper, cooking spray, etc in kitchen. Saw a few ants in my room. Door was incredibly hard to lock and unlock, key sometimes got stuck

• Sean (8/5): Very pleasant stay in a great location - We had a really pleasant stay in Magnumns. The private cabin room we had for 2 people was fine! A bit small but it had a comfortable bed with AC and a fan. Maria working on the front desk was amazing! Shoutout to her. Helped us book our skydive, Whitsunday trip, and Hamilton island tour. She was so helpful. Location is very good for Magnumns. Bang smack in the middle of Airlie Main Street with everything you need around it. Big Woolworths literally a 1 minute walk away. Shared kitchen was just okay. It wasn’t 100% the cleanest compared to others hostels we’ve stayed in. Bathrooms could use a facelift. Quite small and one of our toilets had mould on the ceiling.

• K5938JBmattm (10/5): Incredible Stay and Thank You Jules for all your help - It is a lovely location in the heart of Airlie. The jungle vibe made it have a special vibe and was a joy to be living in. The atmosphere was nice, a lot of young people from different nations all respectful. Rooms have everything you need, there is a shared bathroom and kitchen. Value was great for what I paid. Jules at the front desk was incredible, helped me with every request I had and provided great detail about the area. I would certainly come back again.
• Zoe (8/5): - Lovely oasis hostel in the centre of Airlie Beach, perfect location. Shared facilities were clean and good to use. Room comes with a kettle and mini fridge which we loved. Attached to Magnus bar which is great for a drink of an evening. WiFi not available in rooms and needs to be used at designated WiFi zones. Rooms have a strong musty/ damp smell, stayed on multiple occasions and thought the same each time.

Great location, bedrooms were comfortable and complete, and the forest environment in the Hostel add - The location was by far the best, along with how complete it’s surroundings was, with bars, restaurants, pharmacy… The vibe was great. Additionally, the bush environment was a plus. I really don’t have anything to point out.

• Joanna (7/5): - Very tropical gardens around which gave it a great ambience with running water stream, a hammock, BBQ, etc. Absolutely central and great access to supermarket, bottle shop and cafes. Free guest carpark at the rear with gated access direct tothe accommodation. Well stocked kitchen including air fryer and sandwich toaster. Double rooms at the front are exposed to the live music from the front bar until 2.30am. I knew this and asked for a quieter room, but with no luck. If you could get a room further back, or the cabins, I'm pretty sure the noise would have been fine. The walls were pretty thin and people moving around upstairs early woke us up at 5am
• Caitlin (6/5): It’s okay for a budget option - The location is perfect and has a well equipped kitchen. It feels tropical and the cabins being individual were cute. The maintenance man also helped my friend fix her broken suitcase which was nice of him. There is a lively bar attached with live music. It had a mini fridge and kettle in the bedroom. The bathroom areas weren’t the cleanest and had lots of bugs and spiders in since they were outdoor ones, but since some spiders are poisonous here it scared us and it would have helped if the staff cleaned them out or relocated the creatures. Luggage storage came at s cost and you can only put it away and collect on the hour or at half past. There wasn’t a common room. The rooms were small. If you are bringing a suitcase it’s not easy to get it around with lots of not smooth paved areas and stairs! (Ask to be on the bottom floor)

• Larissa (7/5): Schöne Anlage mit viel Tropengefühl in guter Lage in Airlie Beach - Eine ideale Lage in Airlie Beach. Die Anlage ist echt schön, kleine Wege, teils mit Holzpfaden führen durch tropische Pflanzen zu den Zimmern und Hütten und man fühlt sich ein bisschen wie mitten im Urwald. Trotz recht lauter Bar am Eingang des Magnums ist von den Geräuschen (bestimmt auch durch die Pflanzen) kaum etwas bis zu unserer Hütte durchgedrungen und es war ruhig. Es gibt einen Kühlschrank mit gekühltem Trinkwasser im Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind außerdem mit Ventilator und Klimaanlage ausgestattet, sodass man das Zimmer nachts gut kühlen kann, um eine angenehme Temperatur zum Schlafen zu haben. Es gibt die Möglichkeit sein Gepäck in einem abgeschlossen Raum zu verstauen, wenn man schon auscheckt, aber erst später wirklich abreist. Die Küche ist offen und sehr sauber, Sitzplätze sind draußen und überdacht. Da wir zu einem guten Zeitpunkt gebucht hatten, hatten wir einen guten Preis für eine Hütte mit eigenem Bad. Die Dusche war etwas unangenehm, da sie einen sehr starken Strahl hat, der etwas auf der Haut wehtat. Außerdem muss man das Wasser immer erst einen Moment aufheizen lassen, bevor man warmes Wasser zur Verfügung hat und es ist dann auch recht schnell wieder leer und man steht dann unter der Dusche und muss wieder warten. Im Bad gab es ein paar Ecken, die etwas schmutzig waren und in denen kleine Spinnen gelebt haben. Das ist natürlich auch irgendwo zu erwarten und war deswegen auch kein riesiges Problem für uns. Durch das Holz, aus dem die Hütte besteht, roch es etwas muffig im Zimmer. Es ist in den Hütten etwas dunkel, was aber auch nicht dramatisch war, da wir sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren.

• 4363751c321f7127dc534ce172a51cb9 (9/5): Nothing short of fantastic! - Fantastic location, close to everything we needed in Airlie including Woolies and walking distance to restaurants and the marina where most tours go out from. We loved the rainforest vibe of where the accommodation was located and were very happy with our private ensuite room, it was spacious enough for us each to have our own space. Both of us are heavy and easy sleepers so we weren't bothered by the music at the pub but it was nice that complimentary earplugs were given to us. Staff were super lovely and helpful. A fantastic place for such a good price!! The lack of flyscreens on the windows discouraged us from keeping them open for extended periods of time which could cause the rooms to become stuffy. It would have also been nice to have a fork and knife in addition to the spoon. Both issues didn't hugely impact our stay and we were very happy.

Out double en-suite cabin was very roomy and had great facilities like a fridge and a tv and outdoor furniture. Staff at reception were lovely. Although the pub is very loud, we were at the back of the property and couldn’t hear anything, it was peaceful at night. We didn’t use any facilities such as kitchen but they looked well equipped. The bar is very lively however is you’re solo travelling it’s not very social as it’s full of people who aren’t staying in the hostel. Shower was a bit grimey. Bathroom had a saloon style door not a dull length door.
