- Alex (10/5): - Great location for what we needed. The accomodation is spacious with a amazing rooftop setting. There is a large cat enclosure with cute cats! The owner introduced us to many of them! She also invited us to ride some bikes and go to the park in the morning. The staff are very kind and considerate. The first night our room had ants, however we believe that was due to the storm / weather

This year I returned for a trip, and even though I only stayed a few days, the feeling was the same: warm welcome and kindness. The hotel is run by a very sweet lady, always available and smiling, and the entire staff is incredibly courteous. The rooms are simple but functional, perfect for those looking for a quiet and comfortable place to feel at home. I will definitely choose this hotel every time I return to Ho Chi Minh City. I had a truly wonderful time and recommend it to anyone looking for a sincere welcome and a family atmosphere.

The hotel offers great value for money with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff who made my stay enjoyable. One of the biggest advantages is its prime location—just a short distance from Saigon Railway Station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers catching a train. Additionally, it’s easily accessible from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, which was a huge plus for me as I arrived late at night. The surrounding area has plenty of local eateries, shops, and attractions, so you’re never far from the action. Despite being in a lively area, the hotel itself was quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend Minh Chau Hotel for both business and leisure travelers looking for a comfortable, well-located stay in Ho Chi Minh City. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

- Paul (8/5): Convenient for the train station - We needed somewhere to stay just for the afternoon as we were catching a late night train and a standard room here was cheap and convenient for the train station. The room was basic and had no windows but it was clean and relatively comfortable with a decent bed, TV, fridge and effective air con. The bathroom had a decent shower and toiletries were provided. The staff here are very friendly and we chatted with the young man on reception with the aid of Translate as we waited for our taxi to the station. The shower could have been a little hotter.

- Jessie (10/5): Very nice introduction to Saigon - Lovely hotel offering a more authentic experience in Saigon, away from the tourist district. The family who own the hotel are lovely and the room is clean, rustic + spacious. The location is 10/10, the street food is amazing! Just outside is Viet Cafe and a stall that sells delicious Bo Kho (beef stew) for breakfast. Also there is a supermarket, mini mart, laundry and many many food, coffee, and juice stalls in the street. I would recommend getting the room with balcony, as the street life is interesting to watch.

- Dmitry (10/5): Felt just at home! I can recommend this place for another solo traveler with a peace of mind. - I couldn't be more happy or satisfied, or both, with my stay at this hotel! Good location, it's just a walk (keep in mind, there's no pedestrian space in this area) from the Saigon Railways Station, this street has places where to eat or buy groceries, also a good idea to grab a "Grab bike/cat taxi" and reach the city's downtown without any major obstacle. I want to thank Ms Phu personally for her exceptional and humane hospitality attitude & good vibes and shared positivity; readiness to give a hint/advice/a tip on where to go and what to do around the city. You're a very nice lady, and I'm glad we met. Honored. Looking forward to coming to Saigon sometime next :) P. S. The room I stayed in is located on the very top of the building, there's a very beautiful garden, and five cats living - amazing; it just felt at home, very peaceful and calm. Sometimes it was hard to believe I actually was in Saigon at the same time (hustle and bustle city altogether with its zillions of bikes haha). The rooms were new, the facilities were new, and it was very clean. There's a school nearby, and kids were playing too hard and loud right from the early morning. This cannot be changed though. It's how to look at it, for me it was a good wake-up call, not to waste time and go explore Saigon city.

The staff were very helpful ordering taxis etc. The rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable The Wi-Fi worked fine. It has a nice atmosphere. An electric kettle so i could make coffee in the morning. Everything else was fine .The owner brought hot water for me to make a coffee.

Parking is inside the hotel gates.

I like that it's conveniently located within a short distance walk to the grocery store, restaurants, pharmacy, laundry places, coffee shops. The staff is attentive and sweet. Room is clean with a comfy bed. I especially like to hang out on the terrace in the evenings. Great value for your stay while exploring the city.

There is a small supermarket, a convenience store and a bakery within easy walking distance. All the staff were polite and really friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The A/C looked fairly new and worked well. There is a pleasant patio area on the roof where you often get a nice cooling breeze. Its about 30,000 dong by Grab bike to the city centre. Overall, it's good value for money. You'll struggle to get a cheaper A/C room in Ho Chi Minh City. Unfortunately, the room doesn't have any soundproofing. There's a lot of traffic noise. You can also hear noise from the surrounding rooms if they are occupied.

There are lots of plants and trees as well as swing chairs. Only here can you experience such an interesting atmosphere. My room is quite comfortable. Hotel staffs are very nice and polite. The location is very good because there are many steet foods stools near the hotel. It is also close to Vietnamese traditional medicine museum.

Ask for whatever you need and they'll try to accommodate. We got helped with a scooter hire, a dentist recommended, Sim cards, all spot on advice with best prices and service. All round, nice genuine people to deal with.

It has hot water continuously so that was a plus. The room was clean with air conditioner and has water electric heater. It’d be nice if the room has a microwave to warm up the food when needed.

We came a bit early and the room was not ready, so he lent us his scooter. The location is great. Ms. Receptionist at night shift is not so nice. We went out for the whole day and came back at night, so we didn’t request room tidying and ended up without clean towels. I was in the bathroom with my daughter, calling her to ask for 2 towels but she asked a lot as if I was her bad kids before giving me two. Very annoying actually.

- Michael (10/5): - Totally satisfactory. I am fastidious about cleanliness and I was satisfied with the room, which was very clean. No unusual odors or any other red flags. A/C was strong. The staff was very servicial and friendly . Upstairs on the fourth floor they have a breakfast area where they can make American style breakfast (fried eggs and coffee). And they can book a taxi or Uber-type car service to take you to the airport or wherever. Definitely would stay here again.
