- Richard (8/5): I would stay here again because of convenience & the extras that my room had +sm table & 2 chairs. - Laundry facilities was a bonus
Pleasant staff
Kitchenette was a welcome addition/full size fridge
WiFi had decent speed (40 Mbps)
4 min walk to McDonalds & gas Stn for convenience store
A/C was very efficient Price for Motel a little steep for what you get but it is in the center of the city & summertime tourist season.
No breakfast available.
Motel is very dated, but at least it was clean.
- Jan (3/5): Nicht empfehlenswert - ---- Heruntergekommene Ausstattung;
Zimmer nicht sauber/ unhygienisch;
Mausefalle unter dem Bett!!!!
Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr schlecht!
- Yuliia (1/5): Our first day was terrible! The room smelled strongly of cigarettes even though there was a “no smoking” sign. The carpe - Nothing Everything
- Karanvir (2/5): - Bedsheets were kot clean and the dryer was not working
- Manveer (10/5): - clean room best staff
- Cory (6/5): -
- Tamara (10/5): - good stay
- Stephen (2/5): - The bathtub had rust. The sheets were so old they had a wierd smell and the sheets had small holes. Walking on the carpet dirtied our socks. The picture on the TV had a lot of snow. The kitchen sink was leaking and had issues. I asked the manager to change the room but he said that they were all the same.
- Pamanpreet (6/5): - Too much noise around
- Paul (10/5): - This is not a three or four star hotel. This is a MOTEL!! The bed is as so soft & comfortable it was so hard to crawl out at 5am!! This motel is not in the middle of surrey’s homeless area so it felt comfortable. The towels are not super soakers but this is a motel. Not every room has refrigerator. Wifi included and speed was more than adequate. This place deserves your attention if you’re traveling to surrey and don’t need the luxuries.
- Gina (10/5): - It was a lovely 2 day stay I would have loved to have stayed longer but I had to catch a plane.
- SARA (2/5): - Bathrooms were dirty and unfortunately no one helped me or offered a discount
- Neeraj (10/5): - Good stay
- Angel (2/5): - Dirty rooms, very old & outdated facilities not a safe place, it should be not recommend in Expedia!!’ They scam people there don’t ever stay here !!
- Behzad (8/5): - This is a good and peaceful location
- Harpal Singh (2/5): - Don’t stay it’s dirty and no refunds
- Akashdeep (8/5): -
- Adi (9/5): It was fine. - It was what i needed at the time. There was no tea or coffee in the room. And a loud noise from the plumbing.
I didn't appreciate having to pay a damage fee of $200 . Even if it was returned on inspection of the room at checkout. Surely that is what insurance is for.
- vincent (10/5): - it was good night quiet and comfortable bed
- Dawn (8/5): - Our stay was good only thing was they gice ice bucket but dont supply any ice and i wasnt happy that i found hair in the tub about five long ones in the tub but otherthen that everything was good
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Staff are very very very helpful.
- Chris (10/5): - The staff here is amazing
- Gurmail (10/5): - Love it
- Tony (10/5): - good so far
- Khan (8/5): - Nice quiet place. Chairs were quite comfy. I actually fell asleep watching a movie in the chair, woke up at 3AM, crawled into the bed, and got a decent sleep.
It's definitely a decent stay if you can get it at around 100ish dollars. Location's not that great, but don't really know if the motel can be faulted for that. It's in Surrey. Traffic around & getting to the motel was pretty bad.
Furthermore, I smoked well over 7 meters away from my room. But lady at the front desk first made an issue of my clothes stinking like smoke, then about my deodorant/perfume. I didn't use any. In fact, I only used the soap + shampoo provided by the motel.
- Escudero (3/5): Fine - No breakfast
- Anthony (8/5): Satisficfaction - Convenient and quiet location,cleanliness,
Friendly staff. Should have breakfast included.
- kimysha (2/5): Bad service - Terrible service, the receptionist had a very bad attitude

- Oksana (8/5): Review for Linda Vista Motel - We stayed at the Linda Vista Motel for one night, and it was a great value for the price. The room was clean, though a bit dated, and came with all the essentials: a comfy bed, TV, air conditioning, microwave, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The kitchen was a nice bonus, perfect for a short stay. Everything matched the description on the booking site, with no surprises. The staff were friendly and checked us in quickly, which we really appreciated after a long drive. The parking was convenient, and the area was quiet, making for a restful night. Overall, a solid choice for a budget-friendly stay in Vancouver! Would recommend for travelers looking for a no-frills, comfortable option.
*Rating: 4/5*
- Roxane (2/5): - The clerk seemed to have attitude checking in, the room smelled like dirt. there was dirt bug in bed between sheets.
no microwave. we forgot glasses in room when leaving , was told going to charge $20 if didn't return plastic card.
- Payal (6/5): - It was nice stay
- Kelly (10/5): - Wonderful owners, rooms are clean and comfortable.
- Cynthia (2/5): Very poor -
- Lauren (5/5): It was okay but a bit overpriced for what it was. - Large spacious room with all the necessary facilities. The room was clean, tidy and the location is ideal and easy to locate. The room smelled like cigarettes (the kind that seeps into the walls and is impossible to get rid of). I'm really sensitive to cigarette smoke so it literally made me feel unwell being in the room. Also the pillows really need to be replaced as they were as flat as an iron a not very comfortable to sleep on.
- Serhii (6/5): - Very expensive.
- Karl (6/5): Slow return - Still waiting for my damage deposit back. Been 4 days already
- Anne-Marie (4/5): - The carpets are heavily stained. There are lots of corners in the bathroom with built up gross dirt and the ceiling in the bathroom is cracking. The toilet has dirt on the back part where the cap has come off for the toilet seat. There was loud water tap use multiple times and resulted in water puddles outside our room. When we asked the cleaner to stop, she told us no and when she was told to stop multiple times she put her hand up in a threatening way. Do not recommend. While it was one of the more affordable places, we did not feel comfortable not wearing our shoes in the room. There was no fridge in the room.
- kuldeep (6/5): - Rooms are basic average size rooms air conditioners are old broken and filters are not cleaned regularly one in my room was full of dust debris
- Abdullah (10/5): - It’s was wonderful
- Syed (7/5): Good -
- Kenneth (10/5): - Required
- Gurkamal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brent (2/5): - The bad reviews that I read for this property are legit. It looks pretty from the road but it’s not. The left side top floor had a fire at some point and it’s taped off.
Our first impression was terrible. Wife walked in the room and this is what we seen. Carpet not vacuumed and that was clear just by looking at it. Towels bunched up on a shelf that were most likely dirty as they were rolled up in a ball. She pulled back to sheets to take a look.
Blood stains, some other dark stains and black pubic hair all over the sheets and pillows. Burn holes and rips too. We had housekeeping come change the sheets. They did. They realized the new sheets were gross too and they changed them again. There was what appeared to be mold and either water stains or god knows what on the pillows under the pillow cases.
The entire mainland was booked solid so we didn’t have a choice but to stay the one night for just over $250!
The bathroom was not very clean either. I told my kids to not take their shoes off until we went to sleep.
We had a very sketchy man and lady next to us who appear to have lived there. Their room smelled like weed. At one point we left our door cracked so my wife could get back in to the room after visiting friends staying there too. As I laid in bed I heard the door open slightly then close again. Thought it was my wife. It wasn’t. It was the sketchy guy from next door taking a peek probably assuming we forgot to close the door.
Pull this place off Expedia!!!!!!
- Ray (1/5): Horrible. Worst hotel ever. Filthy. - Absolutely nothing. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Everything! They should not be permitted to rent rooms in their current condition.
We only stayed because the room was non-refundable.
While we have previously stayed in budget accommodations, this particular establishment is unacceptable and unsanitary. We will be contacting the local health authority to report the conditions.
There are numerous issues, but among the most concerning are:
• Presence of black mould
• Burn holes in the bedding
• Soiled linens
• Extremely dirty carpet
• What appears to be blood stains on both the carpet and ceiling, suggesting a serious hygiene and safety issue
• A malfunctioning fridge that froze and ruined approximately $100 worth of food
We accidentally closed the door to the kitchen, which then locked. We tried to call front desk & go to the lobby but no answer.
These conditions are not only unacceptable but potentially hazardous to guests’ health and safety.
- Naomi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Camellia (10/5): - The description of the room and the amenities were accurate, check-in and check-out process was easy and the staff were efficient and helpful.
- Kara (3/5): Poor - There was mildly food in the fridge at check in and none of the plugs in the hotel worked at all. Very out of date.
- Jack (2/5): - I wish I have researched by reading reviews from different platforms. This place is gross. It smelled like armpits perhaps because of the dirty carpets, the smell was so strong, none of us (my wife, my mother and I) fell asleep for more than 2 hours tops. And I had to paid $190 for the night. I wouldn’t sleep there again even I get paid $200 a night. Little did I know, there are really nice HOTELS closer to Vancouver, which would be so much nicer and convenient for me. I later found a nice hotel by Granville waterfront for $100 more than this sorry motel. I would avoid it with all cost.
- Cherry (3/5): very dirty especially the carpet. the comforter smells bad and the washroom is dirty too. - judt the location dirty and smell is bad.
- Azibator (10/5): - The property is very neat. The room was okay and comfortable.
- Sukhjinder (1/5): Bad -
- Aujla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Navdeep (2/5): - They charge me $200 security deposit on my card
Did not refund it. Without any reason .
I am calling and emailing them daily they are just ignoring everytime comes with new reasons.
- robin (6/5): - Average
- Kerry (8/5): OK for the price. - An older property with few amenities, very basic, clean, quiet, convenient.
- Marad (1/5): Bad -
- Kushminder (6/5): - The price of the room for one night was too expensive, they charged 230$ and extra 200 for deposit.
Everything was okay. But the receptionist made me felt bored ,asked alot of question and we had to stay in receptionist office for more than 15 minutes, even though Everything was already reserved online.
During check out, when I was at the reception , a guy told me in a rude tone"oh leave the keys inside the room" i told him why we already came out from there and again you want me to go in " so he was like no madam u need to leave the key inside the room. Even though i feel they need to give every instructions while customers is checking in, rather than making customer feel stupid. Morning guy was really rude. Bad customer service.
- Andrea (4/5): - The location of the place is fine, but the entire facility needs a much needed face-lift and clean up. I saw large rat outside the office, there were mice droppings inside under the kitchen sink, there was a mouse trap inside the bedroom. Bed linen not clean, carpet extremly dirty and heavily solied. Food particles on ceiling of kitchen. Door had opening at bottom, so didn’t feel safe. Refrigerator made strange sound often, so frightened my 92 year old mother.
- Tyler (10/5): - Was good for the price
- Hamidullah (8/5): 90 - Everything was good thank you .
- Rubanarayana (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (2/5): - Staff highly unprofessional and unwilling to help. The room was filthy and absolutely disgusting. The room smelt like cigarette smoke. It was very dark, lacking lighting to even see how dirty it was. When shining the phone light i could see burn marks all over the floor and damage everywhere, including the washroom. This shouldn't be on Expedia...
- Dianne (8/5): - Kind
- Joey (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kajal (2/5): - Bedsheets were dirty with hair and dirty marks on them and they were not ready to agree
- Vladimir (2/5): - Pretty run down place. No mini frdge in the room. Staff did not want to swap out towels when requested. Wanted to take $25 out if my deposit for checking out 5 minutes later than agreed.
- Gurvinder (4/5): - It was noisy upstairs and somebody was dragging garbage bins in the morning. Receptionists need training.
- Tim (5/5): Passable -
- Shane (4/5): - What did I like about this property? Not much. What didn't I like? The carpet had burn holes in it. The bedsheets had rips in it and the bedspread had burn holes in it. There is little to no heat in the rooms.
- Satvir (2/5): - Staff is nice but room conditions not good wet floor no light there
- William (2/5): Horrible rooms - This was a last minute booking, and the front desk assistant couldn’t speak English very well. We didn’t mind to much, it was just hard to understand. Our room was terrible when we got in it, it smelt off. It’s dingy and old. The sheets had many stains and wads of hair in them. On the pillow cases as well. The bathroom was disgusting. There was hair caked in the corners, on the bottom of the bathtub. The towels had stains and hair again. I don’t think the room had been cleaned in a while. There was sticky stuff on every surface. With this being our only option we had to run to Walmart to get sheets, pillows and a blanket to make it manageable. We even got disinfectant spray and wipes. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there, it was FAR too expensive for what it is.
- Amber (8/5): - Didn’t realize the area this was in. It’s a little sketchy. On the bright side the 2 staff members we had interactions with were awesome!!
- Paul (5/5): Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. - Location Dirty carpets , asked for 2 extra pillows but was refused ?
- Rajinder (5/5): Passable - On hiway, clean Noisy
- Osman (2/5): - .
- Elizabeth (2/5): - the whole motel is infested with rats, in the rooms, in the beds (i could see & feel them moving inside of my mattress, i could hear them in the walls, i could see the stains of their urine & poop) and i hate rats & mice. i couldn’t sleep the whole first night of my stay, i sat on the bathroom counter the WHOLE night, because every piece of furniture had rats inside of it.
i asked for a refund because a new room wasn’t enough, and the 2 men that were working at like 2/3AM were very nice and offered me a refund because i can’t be around the rats due to my own trauma, so they were like ok just wait for a few hours and we’ll get that to you, you can check out & go to new hotel.
morning comes around, and there’s a new worker at the front desk; darker skinned, young man, with big squared glasses, short & stubby & has ZERO care for how he treats his customers.
Him & his mother are condescending, unprofessional, entitled, unclean, and disrespectful, individuals.
they denied everything that the 2 actual good workers offered me, which really made up my mind for me to never support a company like that again, if it puts ANY money on the table for a family like those 2 lazy, dirty, clowns. the guy yelled at me for the door closing while i was changing rooms, he must have forgot what his job was? anyways, i advise you to go anywhere but here, do not support a condescending, cheap, careless family like these people, they are seriously disgusting & guaranteed you will get bedbugs here.
- Navleen (2/5): - Staff member was super rude.
- Frances (1/5): Bad Juju - Location would have been great if we'd actually been able to get into the room. That we were still required to pay a damage deposit of $200 CAD. Since our card was a debit/credit card, and we didn't have that amount in our account, we couldn't even complete our registration or see the room. Staff was not sympathetic.
- Jeenu (1/5): Bad -
- Rajinder (7/5): Good -
- Duncan (1/5): Bad - Rats and mice
- Darlene (8/5): - .
- Navneet (2/5): - Room was not clean and staff was not nice at all.
- Jonathan (4/5): Disappointing - Bedding didn't appear neat.
- Vicki (10/5): - Very clean and pleasant property with great staff.
- Harpreet (6/5): - Staff is very friendly nice helpful but cleaning is worst .. blankets and bedsheets are not cleaned. Even bath towels were smelled so bad
- Areeb (4/5): - Room is okay for the price, you get what you pay for. Staff is really bad at communication, I asked for an iron and I was told to wait 15 minutes, I waited for over an hour and they didn’t call me back. Asked the guy at front desk about it while checking out and he wasn’t apologetic about it either so they don’t care about the service or guests. I didn’t go back here after that.
- Lorn (6/5): - it was noisy
- Chidinma (8/5): - I love the building structure.
- Rupinder (10/5): - Good
- Charles (6/5): - Client service is poor
- Marvin (6/5): - Was ok
- Megan (2/5): - They asked for a $200 deposit and that was the most run down place I’ve ever stayed at it was very dirty. The bathtub had stains all over it. The carpet was a mess the beds like fell over when you sat on them. It was the worst day of my life. I will never go back highly do not recommend anyone who who likes a clean space to stay here.
- Marty (4/5): - Not a very clean place, pillow and sheet had blood on, didnt notice til morning. Carpet very dirty. Shower had garbage in it. I turned the key into the owner and he forced me to take key back to room or threatened me with a charge. Will try Motel 6 across street next time i come thru.
- Gerhard (4/5): - Unhelpful office staff, untidy property grounds, room overheated from sun when entered, very sparse room.
- AKASHDEEP (2/5): - Smoking smell from room
