TIGRAN (10/5): - The rooms are clean and nice and the location is very comfortable. But the best part is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. Especially a staff named 'Summer' was very polite and helpful. We asked her to help us with many things not related to the hotel but she still helped us a lot

Rut (7/5): Better to find another option in the city - The breakfast was good, although additional services were needed. The tables were dirty and in a couple of days we could not find a table for us. Quite disorganized The rooms were simply stinky, smelling cigarettes although we requested a non-smoking room. We spent more than one hour just changing rooms. Also we had to request in a couple of ocasions to have our rooms cleaned as we arrived from our excursions and found the rooms as we left them in the morning.

Minoru (8/5): 部屋は広く、快適 - 部屋は広く、快適でした。ただし、部屋に冷蔵庫はありませんでした。朝食は大体よいのですが、スタートが6：30なので、朝が早いときは食事できません。また、ビュッフェスタイルですが、肉類は、1種類しかありませんでした。朝食にフルーツはありますが、ヨーグルトはありませんでした。階段は、物が置いてなくて、ちゃんと使用できました。
MADELINE E GIST (6/5): - The facilities are decent, however, there is a big part of the hotel that is going under construction and out room was right next door to it. The hallways smelt like a very strong paint smell and there was construction dust on the floors in front of our room. The room was large and clean, but the air conditioning doesn't budge and we woke up sweating. No one speaks any English so it was difficult to tell them that our toilet had clogged, but they sent someone up and they sent for a maintenance man. Don't forget to ask for your 200 RMB deposit back because they will not remind you at checkout. Wifi is decent.
Gene (4/5): Served Its Purpose - The room was very spacious. For China, the bed was extremely comfortable. It was not incredibly hard like most beds in China. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The location, for me, was not convenient at all. No access to subway. The staff was friendly but English was poor or non-existent. For an American hotel chain, I expected better English. I did my best to use my little Chinese, but overall communication was difficult. Additionally, the hotel had no resources. For example, I asked for a map of the city or local area. They didn't have one, which is very poor for a hotel. The hotel was great for comfort and price, but offered nothing more.

BecomingaTexan (8/5): Awesome - The hotel was relatively new. I like the simple design. It generally meets the western standard but some details can be improved. The beds in standard room are on the small size. My family really enjoyed the buffet style breakfast during our stay.

LUIS R (4/5): Really bad option - The hotel is nothing like expected. Not at all holiday inn express type. Since you arrive you get the feeling you made a mistake. The price charged was very high for the area, you could book something similar for less than half, without holiday inn brand of course. Even the internet service was bad, necessary for a business hotel. I would never stay here again!
Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel but not in a great location - The hotel is new, modern, and clean, but the location isn't especially good - it's noisy and not close to the subway. Buses are close and there's lots of shopping nearby, it just takes quite a while to get to the engaging parts of Chengdu. Breakfast was provided but was rather bland.
FV (10/5): Nice hotel, helpful staff - The hotel is well designed, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet is impressive and included in the room Rate. The staff are very helpful especially if one does not speak mandarin. The hotel is well located and within easy reach to the city sites though a bit tricky to find if you use taxi's.It is best to carry the hotel card with you. The taxi fare to the airport is about 75 rmb.

Breakfast quite poor, though looks nice. Low quality. Terrible location and hard to find. Make sure you have hotel name and FULL address in MANDARIN / CHINESE characters on a card to give to taxi driver. They will not find this hotel with English address, as I spent hours trying to find it first time. There are 8 other Holiday Inns in Chengdu, so giving the hotel name only is a waste of time.

cph (8/5): Friendly hotel - Nice staff, a warm welcome. The hotel is not fancy, but the staff made up for it and it is clean and quiet. The location is OK, you are reliant on the cheap and plentiful taxis for getting anywhere and some drivers seem to need a bit of persuasion to take the job. I would stay there again.
