Thomas (10/5): Mayana ist eine Oase in Canggu - nur minimal abseits vom Trubel - Wir waren 14 Tage im Mayana und konnten in der zweiten Woche sogar in die große Villa umziehen. Beide Villen sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Betten sehr bequem. Die Bäder sind sehr großzügig ausgestattet. Der Support & Service den wir dort bekommen haben, insbesondere von Miss Putu, Dion und auch Harry vom Security hat es sehr leicht gemacht, uns dort sehr wohl zu fühlen. Fällt uns nichts ein

Breakfast at the neighbor was nice although based on the reviews and pictures we would have expected that they prepared the breakfast in the villa. We thought that we had booked a villa with a lawn. Might have been our bad, so please make sure you pick the right villa when making the booking.

Cosmin (6/5): Friendly staff - Location is behind a rice field, so very quiet. The staff were very friendly. The bedrooms were clean. The pool was amazing. Tasty breakfast at a cafe nearby. Pictures are real but old, wear and tear can be seen on the property. Breakfast is at a cafe nearby. The food quality was good, but there is a mismatch between the menu options presented on the villa brochure and the actual options available in the cafe. There is no option for room service as pictured on the property photos. The nets protecting the bathrooms are not well maintained, and the lizards are constantly in the bathroom. In the last evening, we even had a rice rat in the living room.

Gross (9/5): - The villa was very clean and. Even better than on the pictures. The staff is really good and reactive. The location is not perfect when doing a family trip. The breakfast was really good but I was not aware that you ll need to go 100m away in a nearby coffee to get it. So you need all family to be awake before to have it. Canggu is not really authentic Bali but a real tourist place. It is safe to walk even during the night. The breakfast location not inside the villa

Rebecca (10/5): - The staff organised a driver (Dion) to pick us up from the airport. He clearly communicated with me via WhatsApp and was always on hand and happy to take us anywhere and everywhere whenever we asked! Staff were waiting on hand to greet us on arrival and take us on a tour throughout the villa. Friendly, and helpful, facilities were beautiful and well kept. Will definitely be back! Some of the supplies in the kitchen had run out on arrival (e.g. salt, coffee sachets, body wash) and there were a few millipedes around the pool but that is to be expected in the tropics. But staff were helpful and were happy to rectify once notified. Nothing was actually an issue, everything was great.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and went out of their way for us on many occasions. The cooked breakfast every day is lovely and the complimentary driver for local trips is a great touch. The location could be better but the team more than makes up for it in in room services and complimentary transport.

Michelle (10/5): An oasis in Canggu - Lovely staff and beautiful villa. It is an amazing cafe just 50 meters away with great coffee and food. The staff accommodated my request for vegan food, and the chef came to my villa and cooked me Nasi Goreng with tofu, mushrooms, and spinach. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it. The staff were very helpful and respond very quickly over whatsaap. An oasis that was difficult to leave.... Nothing

Nicole (9/5): A beautiful villa, but too far from town for my liking. - A beautiful villa with a nice garden. Spacious and quiet. Loved the bathroom and the bed was comfortable. It has everything you need. Staff were so lovely. Not a great location. It’s about 3km out of Canggu and given the nature of Canggu, you cannot walk into town. Some cafes nearby, but you’re absolutely removed from the centre. It was cleanish, but it could be cleaner. The pool had dead bugs in it. (There was no net to clean it.) The pool chair pads were very grotty. When it rained they became soggy sponges. When room service would come, they’d leave the bedroom door open, which let in flies and mosquitos. The couch cushions needed a wash. When I arrived the pool was hot. Like heated hot. The staff told me the temperature was from the sun when I enquired. It’s possible given there was no shade over the pool, but part of me thinks the pool was in fact heated… it was only 30 degrees Celsius.
Belinda (9/5): Goed verblijf - Super lieve mensen die daar werken. Elke ochtend werd er ter plekke ontbijt voor ons gemaakt. Heel erg behulpzaam. Praktische keuken met een grote water tank. Thee en koffie machine. Wij hadden een bloemen zwembad geregeld voor de verjaardag van onze dochter. Geweldig wat een werk hebben ze hier van gemaakt. Zelfs haar naam stond in de bloemen. We kregen ook een verjaardag taart met kaarsje heel lief Eigenlijk wil ik niets onaardig zeggen omdat het personeel zo ontzettend gastvrij is en behulpzaam. Maar moet natuurlijk wel eerlijk blijven dus hier toch wat kleine dingetjes. Douche, druk van het water was slecht. Miste een lekkere lounge stoel bij het zwembad. Banken waren erg hard. Sommige dingen hadden echt wel een update nodig. Zoals de los zittende kranen in keuken en bij de wastafels. Wij hadden trouwens de twee slaapkamer villa. Volgende keer zou ik iets meer betalen voor de drie slaapkamer villa. Een stuk mooier en ruimer.

Pillows were a little hard and the TV was up a little to high and could have been a bit larger, we stayed in the 3 bedroom villa, the other 2 villas our friends stayed in were perfect
Stefano Maria (10/5): The best villa of our month in Bali! - the villa was just perfect. we were two couples with a little girl, and during our ten days stay we had no discomfort. the staff prepared breakfast for us in a very quick and discretionary way, organized home massages, laundry (obviously for a fee). they also surprised us by giving us a cake for our birthday. we absolutely loved it. the pool was large and clean, as were the bedrooms! The staff is careing, accomodating, and extreemly friendly. Putu and Katute are special people, big smiles and breakfast to our specifications in the comfort of villa each morning. Trima looked after our every need with 100% commitment and delight. We even loved our gaurd who greated us by name each day. If pissible we will be back. Thank you Villa Mayana!

Oxana (9/5): Quiet villa in Canggu - Exceptionally friendly staff. They were so helpful and caring- they were cooking us breakfast every morning and checking in advance what we wanted to eat. The villa is beautiful, well maintained, and clean. The swimming pool is huge and you can actually swim there. It is close to everything in Canggu but at the same time off the road and quiet: no chicken or crazy sounds at night. You can actually have a good sleep there. The only complaint is the water pressure in the shower: very low and took time for the hot water to run through. I know many places in Bali have similar problems.

Sally (10/5): A little piece of paradise 🌿 - We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa for 9 blissful nights with our daughters (20 and 16). The villa was exactly as the photos, so spacious, clean and comfortable. Our bed was firm and didn't have any dips or lumps. The pool was clean, well maintained and really big for a villa. Beautiful lush gardens created a genuinely tropical atmosphere and provided privacy. The villas are set back from the road, so were nice and quiet. The area had a good selection of restaurants and has a few day spas nearby, however isn't in the main town site of Canggu. If you're looking for night-life or want to walk to the beach, you will need to take the free shuttle in and catch a taxi or Gojek back. A delicious breakfast was cooked for us each morning in our villa and the chef and Putu were so lovely. We felt so comfortable with the friendly staff. A special mention to the super lovely Putu who kept our rooms so clean, made our mornings at breakfast a little bit brighter and has worked there for 10 years and Adi the driver who speaks great English and is great to chat to on our drives. We have no hesitation in recommending Mayana for a lovely relaxing getaway. While there was a good selection of restaurants and a few day spas nearby, there wasn't much shopping within walking distance.

Villa was nice and open although this caused a few insects to be in the lounge room area a lot although it was nice that the staff brought mosquito coils. The property is a bit away from the main area of Canggu so it was different to get a taxi from here and too far too walk

Kate (10/5): Beautiful huge villa w great hospitality - We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. It was very beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean and bathrooms and rooms huge. the pool and grassed area was awesome for our two kids (4&2). the hospitality was second to none, never hesitated to help and were very responsive. they organised a scooter, a nanny and the daily breakfast was wonderful addition. thank you for the comfortable portacot. it’s within a short scooter ride to places of interest like Wanderlust CrossFit and Finns. about 10’ to Canngu proper. we found the location a little far from shops and cafes. it’s not walking distance, certainly not w kids as they’re no footpaths, to any retail shops. pushing a pram is very difficult w traffic and no paths. however there are a few cafes and restaurants, at least 2 that are great but you don’t want to eat there all the time. Bulls is great for coffee, as is Kai’s for food and coffee. it’s also in a part which is more Berewa than Canngu so it’s busier and not as green as a couple of streets across to Canngu proper, where you can push a pram w less traffic. we also had to buy a baby monitor to be able to hear our children at night as the rooms are all very seperate and you can’t leave doors open because of the AC. not a negative, just something to be mindful of if travelling w little ones. we found the beds on the hard side and pillows very uncomfortable (too thick). we would have liked some kids plastic plates, cups etc
Dominique Holmsgaard Wedel (10/5): Best stay in Bali - Absolutely lovely and helpful staff. And the most stunning villas I have ever stayed in in my life! Good for families, friends and a romantic getaway. The staff helped with everything we needed and their English was very good. Everything was wonderful from the personal chef who came every morning to prepare a great breakfast, too, the sweetest cleaning lady and the best driver of Bali. My family and I got a very bad flu and the staff was so loving and caring they arranged for the whole family to go to the doctor. They drove us and stayed with us and checked in with us. We appreciate all the care we have gotten and will be forever grateful. 🙏 BOOK MAYANA VILLAS, EVERYTHING HERR IS AMAZING ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Anja (10/5): Memorable stay at beautiful, peaceful property elevated by responsive, great service team - Property - We stayed in the Villa Harmonis. The villa was off the road, well isolated from any road traffic. The property itself was beautiful - the pool is great for swimming & the villa offers plenty of spaces for reading or relaxing. Our favorite was spending evenings in the open living room space. In terms of facilities - while we didn't cook ourselves in the villa, the kitchen and rooms were well-equipped and plenty of drinking water was provided/ refilled. Breakfast - The great kitchen team prepares the breakfast on-site, with continental and Indonesian options - we liked both! One day, we went on a day trip & the kitchen team came early at 7am so we could have breakfast before leaving - greatly appreciated! Service - Really outstanding! The entire team at the villa was welcoming and responsive to any needs we had (for example, setting up an additional mosquito coil in the evening). We also asked to book a day trip to Nusa Penida at short notice the afternoon before and the entire trip was very smooth and memorable. Location - The location itself is peaceful, separated from the road by a rice field. There are plenty of great restaurant choices (Indonesian, Japanese, European, ...) and cafes within walking distance, including a couple of great upscale places for a nice night out. There are also ATMs and convenience stores right near the villa. We didn't have a car or scooter to get around, so we booked drivers through the villa team for any trips further out (e.g., Ubud). A welcome surprise for us was the new shuttle service the villa offers to get to closer destinations like Canggu beach!

camilla (8/5): Specious beautiful accommodation - Specious and beautifully appointed accommodation in Canggu. Close to everything but not on the beach. We stayed in a two bedroom villa with a private big pool and tropical surroundings. The butler service was discreet and wonderful and the staff was polite and very helpful no request too big or small. A wonderful place to stay! We will be back!
Elaine (8/5): Nice, homely villa located at a quiet area - Staying at Mayana Villa felt very homely, and the villa itself is big enough for 6 adults. Each villa has its own private pool, so it's really nice to be able to swim comfortably. But imo the depth of the pool is slightly too deep, a 163cm person had to tiptoe to stand in the pool. I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the staff at Mayana as they were all so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They spent some time explaining to us certain stuff, telling us where are the good places to eat (or mobile app for food delivery), and always want to ensure that we had a good stay. The efficiency of the staff is marvellous. They carried out our requests promptly, such as requesting for travel adapters, replacement of drinking water, and cleaning of the pool. Beds are comfy, but the bed located at the attic was too small for two male adults to sleep in, the size of that bed is clearly smaller than that of the other two beds provided. With regards to the water temperature in the toilet, the standing shower is alright, but the bathtub water wasn't hot enough and they did not have clear indications of how to adjust the temperature (the design of the tap is kind of weird, not intuitive enough for us to know how to turn on hot/cold water). The living room was unbearably hot so it could have been better if there were more fans provided. There were only two ceiling fans which were placed above the dining tables and not the sofa area.
