She was proactive about asking me about my needs for airport transportation and was able to set me up for a ride early in the morning. Not much. Everything worked the way it should.

• Nadiuska Tania (8/5): Prime spot to stay if you are looking to walk around the city and reach the souq. - Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff in housekeeping, F&B department, and of course Front Office… especially Wafa in the reception who went above and beyond to accommodate us for an early check-in and a lovely refurbished room. It was in the process of being renovated so one of the lifts didn’t work and all the load was placed on 1 lift so it took time, especially during breakfast. The surrounding area was run down but the location was excellent due to close proximity to the souq.

Transportation from the airport can be arranged through the hotel for 20 KWD one way. However, travelers should note that airport taxis charge approximately 10 KWD one way, which may be a more economical option. Currently, there is no rideshare service operating from Kuwait Airport to the hotel. • 433qaisera (10/5): Amazing experience - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carlton Tower Hotel. Our room was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. Ishtaiyaq and Sabre provided exceptional service, always helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel for its superb location. The value for money is excellent and they constantly checked in to ensure our needs were met. It’s also very close to most of the shopping mall, the Kuwait Tower and the Grand Mosque.

• Georges (9/5): A very nice, centrally located hotel in Kuwait City - The location was very good, just a 15 minute walk to Al-Mubarakia Market, and others landmarks. The room was spacious, with a large and comfortable bed. There was plenty of storage space, and slippers were provided for the bathroom. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, replenishing shampoo, soap, towels, coffee, tea, and water every day. The breakfast was decent but they can definitely improve. The girl on the reception, morning shift was very friendly and welcoming. The Wi-Fi was unstable on the 9th floor. The room was not fully soundproof; the noise from cars on the highway could be heard.

The location is good compared to the price you get in the middle of the city. It's relatively quiet, the bed is very comfortable, and the internet is fast, the staff are nice and cooperative, it's an old hotel some people might not like old ones but for me it's fine and there is a Korean cuisine restaurant. They sent me a driver to pick me up from the Airport they charged me 10 KD in which I found a bit high but they waited for me for around 1 hour since my visa took some time to be issued so the money was worth it (we set the price before the wait). The shower is nice, with hot water always. 1- The breakfast does not offer many options and is limited. 2- The AC is old you can not set a temperature and it keeps running and has 4 modes, OFF, High, Medium, and Low so you need to keep switching On and Off otherwise it gets so cold. 3- They serve the drinks in the room with plastic spoons which is not a healthy option with hot water, and don't offer milk. 4- I was looking for a steam iron device but the room doesn't provide one. 5- Not many options on TV.

• jjjhon (2/5): Do not stay here - Where do I begin? I booked a large double bed and instead was given two single beds adjoined together. I solely booked this hotel to rest and sleep but they had this idea of allowing a very loud party in their premises and the music was blaring out late hours. I made several complaints and staff reaction was that the Management would take action in the morning. The management even did not bother to respond or offer a simple apology. The only saving grace are some friendly staff but the hotel is disgusting given the price and provided comfort level.
