• Arseniy (10/5): I recommend - The hotel is close to the metro and train station and easy to find, right on the main street. The rooms have windows, which isn't common in many hotels. Even if you don't use them, they significantly improve the air quality in the room. Delicious food is available for ordering and quick delivery to your room. Friendly staff and excellent housekeeping make this hotel one of the best

No entanto, não encontrei o mesmo padrão de 10 anos atrás. Antigamente tinha até um lacre de limpeza no vaso sanitário quando cheguei no quarto. Banheiro inundado com perigo de escorregar. A água não escoava e fez uma piscina no banheiro. O chão estava extremamente sujo. Não tinha nada a ver com o padrão de limpeza de quando fiquei pela primeira vez há 10 anos. Elogiei a beça pro meu marido e fiquei envergonhada quando ficamos lá.

But to also mention the place is very secure, great security and the staff are always available to render help when needed. Well I liked most of the things, except that my room tv wasn't working so that's the only drawback and of course the beddings should be a bit more cleaner.

• Tatiana (7/5): Friendly, reasonably priced hotel - We stayed at Shelton for the second time - this time, we came with a big group of 15. We like the convenient position of the hotel, its friendly stuff, who are always ready to help. It feels like home, so we are very likely to return. Bedsheets were quite clean, hot water functioned mostly. Sometimes there are insects inside the rooms; the windows don't always close properly. In some of the rooms there was a problem with hot water.
• Anurag (7/5): Close to station but be careful of the noise from the street - Good location and very attentive staff, Shahid from the hotel team was exceptional Too nosiy rooms, could not sleep until midnight , we were only able to get a few hours of sleep once the traffic outside subsided. The windows need to be more sound proof and air tight
• Krizanth (10/5): By far the best given the budget. - Once you find the hotel in the area which is the task, everything else runs smoothly, the staff were very welcoming at the reception, especially Shahid, who helped me with my luggage and was very pleasant to speak to, respectful and polite. Shelton will be my hotel of choice when I visit Delhi again. It's just an obvious choice! Looking forward. The hotel location on the Booking.com maps was not accurate, had to ask around to find the hotel, apart from that everything went without a hitch.
• Tatyana (4/5): Disappointing - We didn’t like anything. The bed linens and towels in the bathroom were very dirty. They were replaced upon request. They also offered us another room, which was a bit better. However, the price for this level of service is very high. Although the hotel itself is decent, it is poorly maintained. The only thing that worked for us was its location. Its real rating is no higher than 4. The Wi-Fi was not working well

• Gerhard (5/5): Passable - My wife and me had been in this hotel already before several times. We know the market area and streets very well. First time I had booked the option SUPER DELUXE ROOM WITH AIRPORT TAXI for 3000 INR. The result had been a kind of disaster. The hotel like taken the whole 3000 INR plus 360 INR taxes on top and try to take that fee for the room only. I insisted immediately that the booked package is a SUPER DELUXE ROOM for 2000 INR and as well included a AIRPORT TAXI for 1000 INR !!! The Hotel staff at the reception promised me to book a black ECO VAN WITH AC for the fixed time next morning. Next morning a small tiny car arrived, would never be big enough for 2 persons and 4 pieces of luggage. My wife freaked out. Somehow the end of the story was, that we got a standard dirty 600 INR government MINI VAN who then dropped us with a small delay to the INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT NEW DELHI. Whatever BOOK ING COM offers, in India it doesn't work. The room itself has spots on the bed sheets. The hotel staff changed for freeh ones. Wifi wasn't HIGH SPEED at all!

• Sara (8/5): Very good - We booked a more expensive room, seeing other reviews that the cheaper rooms were not so good and it was well worth it. They let us check in early without even having to ask, the room was nice and clean, clean sheets, clean bathroom etc. The beds were really comfortable and the AC worked very well. Really hot water, geezer always worked. The bathroom was a bit rough around the edges, and late at night I noticed a few bugs crawling around on the floor, but this is India. Also the rooms at the front are noisy, but again this is a noisy busy neighborhood especially in the evening.
