Shouvanik (8/5): I am satisfied. - Location is very good and it is a beach front resort. Breakfast is also good but there should be many option of food.
Per (7/5): One of our best rooms in Kovalam - The premium room with the front see view from the balcony was a true classic. A basic grandeaur. We have seen some disappointed revies about that the only pictures are att the great rooms with a view. One must clear out the huge difference between the rooms against the back yard and the magnificent ones against the see. We upgraded directly. The upgrade cost was not so high. A good price regarding to what You get. Some small notications though:) Trying to communicate with the staff was most of the time as being trapped in quick sand. No clear answer, no understandable sentenses. Some grave misunderstandings, especially around the morning taxi to the sirport. High stress factor when nothing was as promised. We took another taxi ordered by a kind by passing person. If You are prepared and secured for thoose situation the rooms with a view makes this hotel price whorty anyway. In all the pain the lack of communication has its charm. But maybe the manager would need to educate some of receptionists in simple accurate communication.
MarkusRH (9/5): Preis-/Leistung passt (noch) - super Lage - Mir war ein Balkon mit Meeresblick total wichtig und diesen habe ich sehr genossen. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet mit AC, Fan, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und das große Bett war sehr bequem. Die Lage ist super. Das Bad ist schon ein bissl in sie Jahre gekommen und so zwei, drei Spinnweben waren anzutreffen. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach gehalten, was grundsätzlich auch in Ordnung ist. Die Präsentation ist jedoch sehr einfach und lieblos - das Auge isst eben doch mit! Ich habe mich dann immer von Obstsalat (Melone und Ananas) und einem frisch zubereiteten Omelett gestärkt.

Gautam (6/5): Nice room with spectacular view and location with poor staff behaviour - Location and view I reached at night 11pm and there was no one in the reception to attend . A non malayali worker was sleeping in the reception with no knowledge of basic things. He couldn't understand malayalam or English and we were waiting in the reception for nearly 1.5 hours to get the room key. The authorised person in reception was sleeping in a nearby hotel and came after 1 hour. My baby (1.5 yr) and wife were a little bit worried. The owner attended the call at night and he was a good man and guided us but he should include staff with basic manners.

Lousy staff and racist behaviour - The location There was this guy at the reception who seemed to be absolutely displeasing as he not only seemed racist but also someone with an attitude who can’t get anything done and will call the reservation office or someone else to move anything forward. Checking in took about an hour or more. The rusted fridge in the room is a sore sight for the eye. When I asked if dinner can be served in the room, this gentleman tells me that it depends on how I eat and if I am going to leave the food/plates in the balcony, basically treating me as a monkey out of the zoo. I obviously went out, ate and came back after being treated like this.
Tatiana (8/5): Hotel with sunset view - Hotel is situeted on the first line of Arabic sea, view and sunset from the room was amazing. For ariving the owner Arun organized the taxi from airport. All staff is very gentle and polite, Specialy thanks to Edwin, hi is professional manager. There's also a nice terrace with ayrveda and indian cusine.

Shagnika (8/5): - The location is everything that you vouch for in this place. To reach this location, one must be prepared to walk as it is not accesible by car. But again, above everything the location of the sea view room shall cap all the grievances if any. Hotel ammenities aren't that great, but overall manageable. Also look into details of each room as we booked a king sea view room and a double sea view room, of which the king sea view room dint have AC. The manager then helped us shift to another double sea view room, which was good.

The hotel staff said there is some issue with their neighbours about water. Till 11.30 pm, we were without water in the washrooms. It was terrible. Moreover we noticed there were only kids available to receive our distress calls or requests. There were no grownups available to talk to. Totally mismanaged hotel.

Faced may difficulties , had walked about 5 minutes with our laggages from the parking space to room , no elevator ,poor bathroom,dirty pillows and a dusty room. There was no any Sea view and balcony facility as shown in the promo picture and the details given in the platform of booking.com was wrong.we vacated the room within 4 minutes and missed a meeting with our client. So we have to be refunded if you're genuine. Must do necessary procedures for the refund

Gary (8/5): - We had a great two weeks in the hotel with the staff being very flexible in accommodating us. The hotel is metres away from the beach, we had a sea view room with air conditioning which was very pleasant. However, the photos of the hotel on Expedia we saw are at least 20 years old and the hotel is no way a 4* hotel by western standards. There is no restaurant as part of the hotel any more, although there is a breakfast room which seems to get food from a neighbouring hotel. We were given western breakfast options (cereals, toast, eggs etc) each day, along with fresh cut fruits and coffee. There are a large number of restaurants within walking distance, along the beachfront, and we ate at least twice in the ones we visited. The majority of tourists during our visit were Indian including a large number of family groups, but we were made to feel welcome. Overall, glad we chose this hotel for our Christmas getaway

Anish (1/5): This is standalone building Home stay. This is not a resort - The only good thing is it is near the sea. First of all I recommend booking.com to change this category from Resort to Home stay. It is not a resort just a Homestay.in an appartment . There was no basic room service , no intercom , I had faced power outage for 4 hours no power backup, there was a phase where water was not there in bathroom. No basic toiletries provided. For food outside restaurants were delivering food to your room. If your requirement is just a room with Sea view and you do not need anything else. I mean nothing else apart from Sea view then this Home stay is for you. Also I booked for Sea view room for entire duration , but on day one they gave a poor quality delux room..They said the sea view room by mistake was given to someone else and I can get Sea view room from day 2. Sounds so professional...
