This is a very special location and the most amazing family run staff. Kim and his team were fabulous. Jenny made everything easy and planned all activities and moped rental. The food is above excellent! The restaurant is located next to the lotus pond and very tranquil. The massages in the massage cabina were perfect. The pool is secluded in the back. And the rooms..... well, the rooms are huge and amazing. The most comfortable bed and pillows. Everything was amazing. And there's an amazing boutique to buy local craft in the hotel. THIS IS A MUST IF YOU'RE COMING TO BATTAMBANG! Totally perfect with no complaints!

Susan (9/5): Beautiful hotel in a peaceful spot - We loved Maisons Wat Kor. It is set in a luscious gardens overlooking a lily pond with a beautiful shaded pool. Our room was stunning and very comfortable. Staff couldn’t do enough to help and breakfast was delicious. The only disadvantage is that it is located about 15 mins by tuk tuk from the centre of Battambang but it’s in such a beautiful spot that this hardly matters and the cost of the tuk tuk is very low.

Sarah (10/5): Cambodian kindness and hospitality that stays with you - A stunning property in a quaint corner of Battambang. There are many things to love about Maison Wat Kor - the food is a particular local stand-out - but it's the delightful staff that will have me returning soon. From the owners, to the wait staff and the gardners, you are welcomed with genuine and kind smiles. We found ourselves just relaxing at the property a lot, it was such a nice space to be in, and the restaurant is great. We were also able to bring along our little dog, who took immediate liking to resident mini-poodle Happy, and was kindly treated by all the staff. I highly recommend, and I will be returning.

Alex (8/5): - The hotel was set in beautiful gardens very peaceful with the restaurant over looking a pond full of fish. The food was delicious and service was really good. The pool was a lovely place to relax as well as massages available. The staff were very attentive and couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and had a fridge and a safe. The hotel was situated down a small quiet road not far from the center of town. Possible to walk to local centre and markets about 50 minutes through local streets, or a 10 min tuk tuk ride. The only issue I had were that the bed was a little hard for my liking and the WiFi in the rooms kept dropping out and not a great signal around the gardens and pool. This made it hard for down loading and using the internet as this could eat into your data without realizing you had lost connection while surfing internet. As a traveler WiFi is impotent in a hotel for planning your journey and surfing the internet for work and pleasure and catching up on world news as the room doesn’t have a TV.
Jolien (10/5): Gun jezelf dit fantastische hotel - Er is veel om heel lovend over te zijn. Het hotel is prachtig, met veel oog voor detail. Een echte oase van rust en schoonheid. Het personeel is ongelooflijk lief, attent en behulpzaam en staat altijd klaar om te helpen. Het eten is er erg lekker. Je hebt veel keuze in ontbijt, en kan er ook terecht voor lunch en diner. We hebben er ook genoten van een oliemassage. Leuk zwembad. Locatie is heel goed. Met een tuktuk ben je snel overal waar je moet zijn en het hotel staat steeds klaar om die voor jou te regelen. 1 van die tuktuk chauffeurs heeft ons zo de hele stad laten zien. Heel leuk! Het enige waar wij spijt van hebben, is dat we niet langer zijn gebleven.

Sehr kleine nachhaltige Essenportionen, man bekam ohne Grenze nachgereicht. Sehr gute Matratzen. Ganztägig kostenlosen sehr guten Kaffee. Poolbereich renovierungsbedürftig. Liegen und Auflagen gehören umgehend auf den Müll. Bestuhlung im Restaurant sehr grenzwertig. Angemalte Plastikflaschen als Lampen im Garten, aus dem die Birnen heraushängen, gehen gar nicht. Eingangsbereich an der Straße unter Niveau. Diese Punkte passen zu einem Hostel aber nicht so ein Hotel in dieser Preiskategorie.
andrew (8/5): Recommend cos it’s lovely and not a standard city hotel. - Lovely bespoke hotel , 5mins out of the town centre, centred around woodland and a jungle pool. Really quiet rooms, lovely restaurant as well. It was nice to stay somewhere a bit different. Only downside was the aircon was so cold that a single sheet was not enough, needed a little duvet.

El staff muy acogedor y amable en todo momento, y tienes todo muy cerca en tuk tuk de lo que te ofrece Battambang. En general todo bien, solo comentar el desayuno es desde mi punto de vista muy europeo u occidental con muy poca opción de comida camboyana, ya que son tres opciones a elegir 1. Nos faltó más variedad, y tener más opciones de desayuno asiático.

Veronique Deleuze (10/5): Un petit coin de paradis - Nous avons tout aimé à la Maison Wat Kor. La chambre, sous forme de petit bungalow en bois est spacieuse, lumineuse, magnifiquement décorée et très chaleureuse grâce aux boiseries qui la compose. Le lit est très confortable. La salle de bain est grande, équipée d'une douche avec de l'eau bien chaude et possède tout le nécessaire de toilette. Le cadre de l'hôtel est tout simplement magnifique avec un étang et des poissons, de la végétation, une piscine contenant de l'eau de mer (l'eau était chaude, un vrai plaisir). Les repas étaient très bons et le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Petite attention au café cambodgien qui est servi et qui mérite d'être connu. Le personnel, comme majoritairement au Cambodge est aux petits soins comme la proprietaire. L'hôtel propose des excursions et nous avons choisi de faire le circuit proposé. Notre guide était fantastique et travaille pour aider une école, rien que pour cette raison, n'hésitez pas. Ayant besoin d'un chauffeur pour nous rendre à Sihanoukville, Sophea, la propriétaire de l'hôtel, nous a trouvé un chauffeur et s'est assurée que l'on était bien arrivé et au bon embarcadère. Nous avons même eu un petit cadeau à notre départ. Cet hôtel est un bijou et nous le recommandons vivement. L'hôtel est au calme et donc un peu éloigné, le tuk tuk est donc recommandé pour se déplacer dans Battambang. Rien

Authenticité, charme, bienveillance, confort ! - Un séjour magnifique dans une atmosphère authentique, au sein du village de Wat Kor et de ses maison traditionnelles. le tout à deux pas du centre Battanbang. Un lieu idéal avec de superbes chambres spacieuses et confortables, une piscine parfaite pour se rafraichir après les escapades de la journée, une cuisine de grande qualité (encore merci à la cuisine pour la confiture d'ananas ;-)). Et au delà de tout cela, l'accueil à la fois chaleureux, amical, professionnel de Monsieur Kim Nou et de son épouse. Ils ont été d'une grande assistance, de bons conseils. Je les remercie encore de nous avoir convaincus de faire le trajet Battambang - Siem reap en private boat ! Quels auraient été nos regrets si nous n'avions pas suivis leurs conseil ! Massimo (10/5): Hôtel qui vaut le détour - Très bel hôtel, calme et confortable. Le personnel y est souriant et accueillant. Les jardins sont beaux et valent le détour à eux seul. Les chambres sont joliment décorées, spacieuses et confortables. Vous pourrez même suivre les traces de Brad Pitt et Angelina Joly qui y ont logé il y a quelques années. Grace (9/5): 2 nights wasn’t enough - What a beautiful place to stay! My husband and I immediately felt at peace when we entered the property. Nice big, clean room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had stayed longer. Nothing, it was all great.

Особенно красиво здесь по вечерам, когда зажигается мягкая подсветка вокруг пруда с лотосами — настоящее волшебство. Сам отель — это кхмерский дом с традиционной мебелью, красивыми деталями и уютной террасой у номера. Номер просторный, комфортный и продуманный до мелочей. Персонал — невероятно заботливый и внимательный, чувствуется тёплая и душевная атмосфера. На территории есть приятный ресторан с хорошей кухней, магазин с крафтовыми изделиями и возможность поучаствовать в кулинарных мастер-классах и воркшопах — мы, к сожалению, не успели, но выглядит всё очень интересно. Отель однозначно рекомендуем — идеальное место для расслабленного и вдохновляющего отдыха.

lynda (10/5): This hotel was like walkig into a very zen world. I would definitely stay again. - When I first arrived at the hotel I was afraid I had made a mistake as it was in a village seemingly in the middle of no where. Upon walking into the property is was charming! Everyone who worked there was very friendly and service was excellent. The property was lovely with a Coi Pond adjacent to the dining area, a modern swimming pool with bathrooms close by, so you didn't have to go to your room if needed. There was lush vegetation and flowers every where, with a massage area in between the pool and coi pond. The room was in a building that had 2 rooms with a patio with a bench and table outside. The room itself was charming, very large,with a zen vibe.It had plenty of lights and ceiling fans, a very comfortable king bed, dressing room area with vanity, a mini fridge with a coffee/tea station, a desk, and a smaller bed that had been setup as a couch, but could be a bed if needed. The attention to detail was amazing. The bathroom was a large with a rain shower, a large counter with a sink and large mirror above it. Towels were in baskets with flowers, the kleenex had been formed into bows on top, the bedding had a beautiful silk throw with flowers petals and laminated info sheets with hotel and local info. The food in the restaurant was amazing, and a wide variety of items was offered.The lobby area was very comfortable with couches surrounding a table and another area with books, games, etc. and a large table where some guests were working on their computers.There was a corner area with locally made items. Of a night the hotel had red lanterns every where and it created a very zen vibe. There were bikes you could borrow.There was a local church nearby that their music could be heard and was very soothing. My only complaint was I was only staying 1 night. The hotel could take care of arranging transportation and tours. I have no dislikes
Roberto (9/5): - Bellissima struttura, accogliente e immersa in una splendida natura autentica di Battambang, ottima pulizia camere e aree comuni, staff gentile, disponibile e professionale. Buona anche la cucina, provata sia con un pranzo che una cena. Nulla, segnalo unicamente che nella Suite il climatizzatore ha il getto d'aria diretto sul letto, quindi risulta un po' fastidioso da tenere acceso durante la notte, e al contempo necessario per combattere il forte caldo.

This property just on the outskirts of Battambang is a must for those wanting to stay in an authentic location with village life all around . Staff are exceptional. Would have been nice to have a few more loungers around the pool.

Eric (10/5): - Wow, such a hidden gem! If you’re looking for a resort with Zen like qualities, away from the hustle and bustle, yet having everything at your fingertips provided by an incredibly attentive and proficient staff look no further. Just wish we had more than two nights in this resort. Rarely do we eat within the resorts that we stay but because of our timelines we had two breakfasts and dinners on site. Great quality and delicious meals! All was good in Battambang. Thank you Maisons Wat Kor.
