Found it was carpet cleaned bc toilet had obviously backed up. Toilet tissue was all over the bathroom. Was booked ahead of time, but was the last room. Unable to move. Front desk woman cleaned bathroom and flooring. She was very polite. I did get a credit to my account for the inconvenience.

• 371charityg (4/5): Bad experience - Reserved a room with a whirlpool tub but when I got there to check-in we were informed that the reservation on their end did not show the same room type. I showed them my confirmation, but the night manager told us that it was not her problem and it was on our end. Refused to do anything to make it right! Next morning, the hot breakfast was empty and the waffle mix was not mixed. Had to eat at the cafe in town. Silver lining, the cafe was amazing!

When I walked in the lobby is neat and smells clean. It is a smaller hotel and located right across from a diner. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. I would come back to this town just to stay here.

The employee said this place has a “base rate” but charges more on “special days” (this was a Monday). Said I’d get back to him, tried booking on line, it was $220+ with the fees! We opted for a major hotel chain in another town for significantly less. Do your homework on this place! Caveat emptor.

• FarAway19280789959 (8/5): It only takes one person to ruin it for everyone... - 9.5 out of a possible 10. Really REALLY enjoyed our stay. The Room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and lots of nice little touches like the mints on the "Thank You for staying with us" card in the room (Andes mints... always a solid choice, lol). The pool and hot tub were both in working order, clean and that whole space was immaculately kept up. The woman who checked us in, Khrysty, was exceptional at her job and made us feel right at home. She gave us recommendations on where to eat, provided us with a nice map of the area, chatted us up (I encouraged her, it wasn't like she was uncomfortably chatty) about where we were from, why we were in the area, etc. I was there for a corporate meeting the next day that ended at 12:30, so I asked her for a late check-out and she said no problem. I didn't want to have to rush to get everything together, plus leave my belongings in a hot car all morning (this was the middle of July). Well, there WAS a problem. The next day, in the middle of the meeting, two of us were called out by room number and told that hotel management said we were to clear out our rooms immediately, that they needed to clean them (it was around 11:30am). I went to the desk and explained I had asked for a later check-out to avoid just such a situation and that they had embarrassed me by calling me out like that. The on-duty manager, Melea was very cold and rude and informed me "Too, bad, we have people coming in, we need that room and there is no late check-out on your account". The woman working with her was on the computer and said, "Yes there is, it is right here, it says late check-out" and was VERY sweet and professional. Melea shot her a look of daggers and basically shooed me away like I was bothering her. Some people belong in the hospitality industry, and some do not. The young woman on the second day and Khrysty from check-in both do. Melea would be the reason, solely, if I don't return to this hotel. I loved everything about this place - comfortability, breakfast, cleanliness... but it isn't worth it to me to be treated so rudely again. I will call ahead and see if she will be on staff and if so, will seek out accommodations elsewhere.
• rachelrS2207QH (4/5): It did the job but we were not happy! - We stayed in a room on the second floor with 1 King size bed. We were initially excited because there was a pull out couch, but after pulling it out we discovered a lot of dust, crumbs, and a weird bug crawling on the mattress cover. We couldn’t use the bathtub because there was a giant part of it that was damaged and patched up, painted and a rubber mat was placed over the top. The paint was chipping off everywhere in the shower. The shower curtain was ripped in many places. There was so much dust and hair at the top of the shower. The room had a horrible musty smell we noticed every time we left and came back in.

Some of the rooms do need a few touch ups from wear and tear but that is the only issues I have noticed.

• T8801JKpatriciaf (10/5): It was a pleasant stay - The room was clean and comfortable. I was able to sleep as it was quiet. The help was accommodating, as well as pleasant. The Breakfast was good.
• pixelg2024 (10/5): EVERYTHING is five star! - I wish all my hotel experiences were as nice as this one. Everything was exceptional. Every detail is paid attention to at this Hotel. I've been traveling all my life. I've stayed in many luxurious high dollar establishments. This one ranks in the top ten! And it isn't High Dollar. Just luxurious and efficient. My stay here was about as good as it gets! I'll stay here again!
• Theresa (10/5): Customer over the top!!! - We checked in basically in the middle of the night. The person who checked us in was a peach! She was so friendly and got us checked right in. She was so friendly and got us checked in at 2 AM. The room was amazing as always and we got coffee at night and the lady was so kind!!!
• Z2311FCjoanb (8/5): Comfortable bed, food was adequately - Room was spacious, would have loved to use the hot tub, but didn't have time. Price was very reasonable for the king bed and hot tub. Breakfast was typical of hotel food. Hot food, eggs and sausage were empty when we went to breakfast, but plenty of waffle batter and other foods available. Good selection of channels on tv.

• Tina (6/5): - I booked a king suite but ended up with two queen beds. We got snowed in there and nothing special for us that couldn’t get home.
• H7746CYbrendas (10/5): Thank you - Thank you for moving us over to Cobblestone. Unfortunately, family members and myself were there for a Funeral. We all booked at Borders and were moved over to Cobblestone. The staff were extremely nice
• Venture59786233421 (8/5): Nice for a small town. - Stayed 4 nights. Nice accommodations. Breakfast was good, sausage and egg rounds, waffles. The sausage and biscuits on the weekend was a nice touch. Workout area needs to open before 8am. Quiet, for the most part. Breakfast area got pretty full the Sunday morning after the wedding.
• Erin (2/5): - They don’t except debt cards. If you only have that than it is a 50 dollar extra charge!
• Debbie (10/5): - We’ve stayed multiple nights here. It’s a very clean, well kept and festive hotel. The staff is always great as well
• Janet (8/5): - Clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly staff and easy facilities to navigate. No elevator so be sure to request ground floor if you do not do stairs.
