• Sayanti (9/5): Amazing basic accomodation with great vibe - Amazing property and it was just as we expected The facilities are amazing with a huge communal kitchen, TV room and a cozy sofa near the fireplace. The room is basic but exactly what we expected. It also had a sauna which we did not use. Nothing much to mention Just that the bathroom was a bit too small for a bigger person like my husband to shower and use the basin

• Dimpesh (3/5): Cleaning is something no guest willing to comprise. - Not much. Room had very poor light, ( just 2 small yellow bulbs) May be because they were trying to hide all those spiderwebs and poor cleaning in the room. Car park was so tight, which they would know and still never seen them coming and help customers or even tell the guest if they have very big car then please park accordingly so other cars can get access.

The kitchen was nice and spacious, and the hot tub was a bonus too! The bunk beds were quite short and hard to sit up on and there was only 4 spots to plug into for a 6 person dorm.

• Sina (9/5): One of the best Hostels in NZ so far! - Everyone was just so friendly! This hostel is perfect to meet new people and connect. Also, the hostel provided free coffee/ tea and soup. The hot tub was so relaxing, and you had your own little toilet. There was nothing I didn't like!

• Peter (9/5): Gute Untetkunft - Ein gut geführtes Hostel mit einem guten, funktionalen Zimmer. Eigentlich nichts, das Zimmer war nicht allzu groß, aber das wussten wir vorher.

Das war eine gute Idee und hat die Gäste gut zusammen an den Tisch gebracht. Der Hot Pool im Außengelände war auch klasse. Küche war gut ausgestattet und alles war sauber und ordentlich. Sehr angenehme, gemütliche Atmosphäre.

• Teresa (8/5): A coast experience. - Good location, view and layout. Its cute and actually feels like your on the coast. Love the kea that vist morning and night! I like this place but its not everyone's cut of tea.

• Volker (7/5): Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war ok. - Lage und Preis-/Leistungsverhätnis der Unterkunft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es gab Suppe und Popcorn umsonst am Abend. Lage zu Restaurants sehr gut. Platzangebot, Mini-Bad, man konnte nicht vor dem Haus parken, per Hot Tub war leider defekt. Ok für 2 Nächte.

• Sudarshana (10/5): Very enjoyable stay in central location of town. - The location was great. Though I got there late, my key was waiting for me and I didn't have issues getting in. Unfortunately for me, because I was late, I missed the vegetable soup which has been highly rated by other guests. In the morning, I enjoyed walking around the small town and even got to see the helicopters taking off from the helipad which is located close by. Later, I spent time in the hot tub before leaving. No complaints!
• Marysia (9/5): Felt like home! - A warm welcome and very comfortable stay. The manager made the effort to know the guests’ names. The nights were chilly and a fire was kept lit in the lounge/kitchen area through the evenings. Kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms and toilets were kept clean. Not enough sockets the dorm.

Great main cooking facilities incl. everything necessary to cook & eat. Walking distance to main strip of town, info centre and supermarket. Really lovely owners.
• ANTONIO A DE (9/5): Very cozy place with good value for money. - The room with 6 beds in 3 bunk beds is very comfortable and quiet. Sheets, pillows, and comforters smell nice. Washing and drying machines are reasonably priced. The common area is great. Quite spacious, with communal tables, comfortable sofas, and a fireplace. The kitchen is the most organized I've ever seen, always very clean. One detail that pleased me greatly was the fact that the accommodation had a popcorn machine with the corn provided free of charge. They also offered free soup in the early evening. I found that very nice. However, in my case, since I enjoy photography, what enchanted me most was the view of the mountains. As soon as you reach the sidewalk, you can already see them with snow covering the peaks. There's nothing I can point out as unpleasant. Everything was quite satisfactory. Perhaps a recommendation would be to provide more power outlets for guests in the rooms, as six people in today's world use a lot of electronics.

• Blaithin (8/5): Decent accommodation - This is nice simple accomodation in Franz Josef which was a decent price. The beds weren't the comfiest and the bathroom is very small but it was quiet for sleeping and it was handy to have amenities. Just to note the evening soup was very tasty but not very filling as a meal so bring some bread!
