• ian (5/5): - I stopped here 8 years ago and i stopped there on the 4th december 2025 its lost its mojo a bit as the last time i stopped there it was clean and modern with modern rooms but its a little run down things need a revamp and modern tvs as for comforttable sleep yeah it was okay aircon worked it just needs a good update staff where great as usuall very helpfull thank you. Like i say it just needs an update modern smart tvs new decor and such as.

• David (7/5): An Ok Hotel. - The hotel was quite large but all on one floor with parking right outside your own room. The restaurant served a large variety and did delivery to your room. The rooms were large. The list if fines was over the top, see photo. The food served was cold both at the restaurant and when delivered to the room. The hotel is a down a dark street with lots of dogs roaming around which chased the car, unsure how they are to people walking past. No kettle in the room. The bathroom floor was very slippery.

• Ben (4/5): Nice hotel in need of maintenance . - Location . Room service . Away from songkran madness . Room smelled of shit on arrival . Toilet kept backing up . Got it unblocked but same issue returned . Would suggest it was a known issue . Aircon was badly in need of service . Stank of black mould . After four days of breathing it in , I ended up in clinic after coughing up blood . We've stayed here 6/7 times now , and it's always been okay. However , when times are tough in hotel business it's always maintenance costs that are cut .

• Franz (9/5): Superb - A real good and cheap hotel, outstanding staff, friendly and helpful, hard to find similar. Rooms and hotel is maintained in a good way. Restaurant, food and service is authentic Thai, hard to get similar quality for same price elsewhere. Owner should really consider to invest in swimming pool, then hotel could be rated as 10 instead of 9 points
• Paul (9/5): Great stay …look no further 😀 - A very comfortable hotel with very good value prices close to the town centre. Rooms are super clean , comfortable,spacious and have everything one needs.Parking is motel style so you can park outside your room. An extra bonus is their extensive ,very reasonable , menu with 100+ different choices.We ate there a number of nights and the food was always good as was breakfast. Wi fi worked well . An hours easy drive to the Chang Circuit in Buriram 😀 We will be back Bit more mosquito spray in the room

Been coming here for like 7yrs when visiting wife's family and the place is still the same, for once in Thailand they used high quality materials and building standards and it pays of. • Verified traveler (10/5): Recommended - We used the Martina Hotel as a base to attend the MotoGP. It is a little out of town but we had a hire car so it was no problem. Both our room and bathroom were huge and the bed was really comfortable. A kettle and hairdryer were available on request. We ate in the hotel restaurant a couple of times and it was excellent.....and cheap. The staff were all very helpful and smiley! We would certainly stay at the Martina again.

• Michael (8/5): - This hotel is quite beautiful. Not far from the city center. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. (There is only ONE outlet) I included breakfast with my room. It was great for Thai's. My being from the U.S., something left to be desired. ALL the food was at the same temperature (standard for Thai's). Buffet sitting for a long time. Ordered food, came room temp. One other thing, a great place to sit at night, but couldn't get any decent non-Thai whiskey or ANY mixed drinks. Would I stay there again???? Complementary transportation to the Elephant Festival was very nice of them. A decent value for the price. The staff is 1st rate! 😁👍

• Verified traveler (6/5): Quite location modern rooms , easy parking. - The Hotel was very nice, we did have a problem wit ants on the bed it took about 30 minutes but gave us a new room. The reception staff not especially friendly. If the staff would have been more friendly I would have given the hotel a much better rating. I would recommend the hotel maybe a isolated inscident.

• Chris (8/5): - This is a motel type of stay. Very good value for money. To get to the centre of Surin will cost you 4 quid in a tuk tuk for 2 people. Excellent food and room service is free! Bit out of the way but a nice little walk if you can hack the heat.
