- Kim (6/5): A bit disappointing - Pleasant helpful staff. Great location close to bars and restaurants. Good shower. Hot and cold water supply outside room. Very small room, . New bed sheets and towels needed. Corridor carpet needs replacing, quite dirty.
- Christopher (7/5): More room for improvement. Keep striving to improve 💪 ✨️ - The location itself was excellent. Food is within walking distance, and public transportation is easily accessible. Well, I believe that if the hotel staff could provide up to date information about "how to get to places via free bus services and paid busses" that would be awesome because local tourists like me, may not want to drive. Luckily, there is hotel parking. Thank you.

As a tourist, hotel receptionist ( A bangladesh/Indian man)should give a good instruction about car parking that behind the hotel.Not only give instruction,please show the way (from outside hotel door)how to get to car parking.He looks not happy when I came to check in and I asked him to show direction to car parking.

- Ryunami (4/5): Suitable for a short stay, Muslims must bring Qiblat direction - Although the building is old but the inside is modern with a new lift, clean surroundings and friendly lady reception. The room is comfortable and large, near to halal eateries such as Hameed Soup and Halal Hokkien Noodle, limited parking space available. No Qiblat direction in the room and not enough body wash gel for our 1 night stay

- Denis (6/5): There are better places for that price - Nice location, a lot of restaurants, not so far from the center and all important places. The room is very small and old, also smells with chemistry, the light in the bathroom was flickering, so I did not use it. Sheets are not very clean, were previouse owner's hair on the bed.

Bathroom set up was great, water drained well into drain so toilet area dried up quickly. Very accommodating lent us a desk to use because the photo made it look like there was a desk area. Wished they had a fridge.

There is drinking water and a place for smoking on the roof very clean very much, but a plate of cleanliness must be placed We took a room on the roof, it was very, very narrow, and it had fog, and there was no special electric kettle, and the TV was very old, with only Malaysian channels.

- Audrey (7/5): Penang is not the same as a tourist destination after Covid. - Penang being an island has small buildings and most of the older heritage buildings have shared toilets and small rooms. This hotel has bigger rooms with ensuite bathrooms and the location is very good, within walking distance to all the tourist sites. Daily cleaning, drinking water dispenser and 24 hour English speaking receptionist. The internet works well. The carpets need to be replaced as they are old, brown and make the hotel look dirty. Also a coat of coloured paint to brighten up the white rooms would make the hotel much more welcoming. The towels are filthy and threadbare and new comforters on the beds would make the rooms more appealing. The wash basin in the bathroom had black around the sink, not sure if it was mold.
