• Chontelle (9/5): Great spot to stay in ishigaki for couples - Great location close to the stunning Kabira Bay. Nice local restaurants, we didn’t bother with the restaurant buffet due to price. We stayed in a villa which was perfect for our honeymoon, we even had a Seaview which we weren’t expecting! And an outside spa bath! It was so nice away from the main hotel, we only entered on check in and check out! We didn’t use them as we had a car but they have cheap bike hire too. The pool is outdated, didn’t use. No cleaning each day although they do empty rubbish and replace towels.
• Tatu (8/5): Kustannustehokas ratkaisu upeilla maisemilla. - Kaikkien huoneiden ikkunat taitavat avautua merelle päin ja ranta näyttää todella hyvältä koko päivän ajan. Kiertelin myös villa -puolella, jossa näytetään saavuttaneen yksityinen ja rauhallinen miljöö. Illallisbuffet on erittäin kattava ja ruoka on hyvätasoista. Myös ruokia koskevat allergeenit on kuvattu annoskohtaisesti erittäin selkeästi ja henkilökunta on TODELLA ystävällinen ja avulias. Lounasmenu on tarjolla klo 15 asti ja seuraavan kerran hotellilta saa ravintolaruokaa vasta klo 18 illallismenun aikaan. Muita vaihtoehtoja iltaruokailulle ei käytännössä ole. Bussilla pystyy liikkumaan resortille ja sieltä pois, mutta vuoroja ajetaan harvakseltaan. Allasbaarin hinnoittelu tuntui ehkä kalliin puoleiselta, mutta toisaalta hotelli on suhteellisen halpa ja muita vaihtoehtoja juomien hankkimiseen (esim. automaatit) ei käytännössä ole.
• Dennis_from_Amsterdam (9/5): Afgelegen resort met fijn strand en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet - Fijne rustige villa met jacuzzi op de veranda. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Meer dan genoeg parkeerplaatsen voor de huurauto. Fijn strand waar je prima kan zwemmen (maar niet snorkelen, daarvoor moet je naar andere stranden). Voor het diner was er alleen de optie van het avondbuffet in de ontbijtruimte. De aankleding van die ruimte is nogal saai en het all you can eat & drink concept moet je ook maar liggen. Om buiten de deur te eten, moet je wel met de auto op pad. In Kabira zijn wel een paar goede opties voor avondeten.

• CHING (9/5): 很放鬆的渡假飯店 - 獨立小木屋空間以兩個人來說非常大，陽台外還有浴缸可以泡澡，如果有玩水去陽台沖洗也很方便，早餐菜色也不錯可以吃的很飽。 私人海灘有圈出小小一個區域可以下去玩水，但比較受限制的感覺，其他外圍在玩水上活動感覺不能人直接下去有點可惜，另外小木屋外面蟲有點多需要注意。

• Andrea (6/5): Could be better, poor service and customer care - The beach and the pool 8泊滞在しましたが、一度も客室清掃もシーツ交換もなく、とても不衛生で驚きました。 この点だけでも評価を下げざるを得ません。 サービスも柔軟性がなく、コーヒーを頼むと「ドリンクパッケージを買わないと提供できない」と言われ、 客室で食べ物を頼もうとしても「テイクアウトのみ」と断られました。 温泉にはタオルが置かれておらず、ビーチやプールでもタオルは有料レンタルのみで不便です。 さらに、大人2名・子ども1名で朝食付きプランを予約したのに、 子どもの朝食は「含まれていない」と追加料金を請求されました。 全体的に、料金に見合わないサービスで、改善が必要だと感じました。

Zimmerreinigung muss extra bezahlt werden, Abfall wurde auch nicht täglich entsorgt. N achts hatten wir eine große Kakerlake im Zimmer. Zimmerwechsel war sofort möglich, das Problem ist also bekannt.

Une personne au restaurant assez peu conciliante, après le petit déjeuner (payé avec la chambre) nous avons demandé pour remplir notre Thermos avec l’eau disponible en pichet et le monsieur du restaurant s’est énervé disant d’utiliser l’eau du robinet dans la chambre….c’est absurde car l’eau est la même que dans le pichet les glaçons en moins et beaucoup plus pratique qu’avec le robinet du lavabo de la salle de bain…

• Marie-Lou (8/5): Overall a great stay - It had all the basic amenities, lovely staff and the perfect location to explore the island. The Kabira Village part of the property where we stayed looks a bit tired and in need of a ‘freshen up’. The breakfast was more geared towards Asian hot foods but did have western but not much choice. But I would still recommend a stay here as just under 3km from Kabira Bay.

• La Paz NYC (4/5): - We were so disappointed by our six-night prepaid stay here. Unfortunately, my husband was bitten by an insect on two separate non-consecutive nights. On both occasions, we found a large blood spot and one time a crushed insect on the sheets that was clearly not a mosquito—plus, it was February. When we brought this to the staff’s attention both times, they were dismissive and offered no remedy. Because we were foreigners and the hotel is so remote, we felt stuck and tried to make the best of our Valentine’s Day, but the whole experience was creepy and stressful. We honestly expected much higher standards for a hotel in Japan, but the way they handled a serious hygiene issue was appalling. To make matters worse, they actually suggested we may have brought the bugs with us—ridiculous considering we had just come from the very clean Miyako Hotel Hakata in Fukuoka. I attempted to post photos of the blood and insects on the sheets as evidence, but Booking.com did not allow them to be published.

• Yasuko (7/5): There are many other options for accommodation - The room is clean and spacious. Room: We booked for a sea view room (they describe the room type as all rooms have a sea view) but our room had a PARTIAL sea view (only a half side of the window). Not very honest description. They don't clean the room. Only change the linen. Meal: we chose a half board (breakfast and dinner). The meals were buffet. We stayed for 4 days, but 90% of the food was exactly the same every day, morning and evening. Most of the food was not really local food. Staff: some staff are nice, but particularly the foreign staff were not helpful as they never offered any help with luggage when we had 4 suitcases and he saw we had to lift up to go up and down the stairs as the hotel building is not fully accessible. Be careful if you need an accessible room!

• Kim (10/5): - 직원분들도 친절하고, 조식도 만족스러웠습니다. 날씨는 좋지않았지만 바다뷰가 끝내줬고, 2층 레스토랑에서 조식먹을때마다 보이는 바다뷰가 너무 근사했어요! 3인 가족이 가서 extra 베드 추가해주셨고, 대욕장을 하루에 2번씩 갈 정도로 좋았어요. 시내에 잡을껄 괜히 위쪽에 숙소를 잡았나..하고 염려했었는데 결과적으로 너무 만족했어요! 없어요.

• Makoto (9/5): 最高でした - プライベートビーチがあるところ。朝から海辺を散歩できて、夕焼けは最高に綺麗でした。海で遊んだあとに、お部屋で、すぐシャワーを浴びれるのがとても良かったです。大浴場組と部屋組とに別れてお風呂に入れたのもとても良かったです。お風呂も清潔でした。 エレベーターを降りたら、生乾きの匂いがしました。部屋も少し生乾きの匂いが…海から上がってそのままお部屋でシャワーをするので、仕方ないのかも… 夕食バイキングを利用しました。とても満足なのですが、お刺身があるともっと良かったかなぁ。

• Cecilia (6/5): Fronte mare - Ottima posizione fronte mare su una splendida baia, vicinissima a Kabira Bay. Stanza spaziosa Struttura datata che avrebbe bisogno di restyling. Sala buffet ad effetto mensa. Personale gentile sì, ma non adeguato a supportare il soggiorno.

Nous avions reservé un grand bungalow villa ….. comment dire pour le moins vétuste et ancien . Mal nettoyé bref ça n’allait pas du tt . Le personnel a compris et a tt fait pour nous permettre d’être bcp mieux logé au moins 3 nuits sur 4 malgré la haute saison . La nourriture très limité . Le côté assez désuet de l’hôtel . Mais il est vrai le site est beau

• Allison (9/5): I had a great trip, way beyond my expectations. - I enjoyed Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner there. The food was surprisingly beyond my expectations. It was during New Year Holidays so we got a great combination of traditional Japanese New Year food, Okinawan food and Western Holidays food. Services were excellent, everyone was so warm and attentive to not only myself but other guests. It's on the West Coast so great for sunset and the beach next to the resort is also very nice and calm. The facilities are a bit running down. But understandable. Cleanliness is still excellent. The location is great if you have a rental car, otherwise could be a bit isolated.

• KENJI (9/5): - 部屋がオーシャンフロント！ 底地ビーチと大きなラグーンの中に一軒だけのホテルで、左右にホテル以外の人工物がなくてリゾート感だけでなく、非日常を存分に味わえて満足です。 遠く、西表島の向こうに沈む夕日も、朝のビーチも圧巻でした。 外国人のスタッフの人たちのホスピタリティーとマナーが大変しっかりしていてよかったです。 特に不便や悪さを感じることはありませんでした。
• AIDA (8/5): 石垣島の各地をリーズナブルに楽しむことができました。電動自転車をレンタルできてとてもありがたかったです。 - 海が目の前で川平湾までは自転車で15分の距離で良かったです。 大浴場は狭く、あまり設備も良くない印象。
