- Johanna (10/5): - Everything we needed for a few days in Taos - love the location! Soooo clean and friendlyowners available to answer all questions! Thank you!
- Henry C (10/5): Excellent low-key, comfortable, convenient - These casitas are well maintained, clean, within walking distance of the Taos square, and very comfortable. I don't think the online photos do the place justice-- the units are very attractive. (see attached photos)
- Cheryl (10/5): - Wonderful!!’ Will definitely be back!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great Small Quiet Simple!
- Jeanne (10/5): Ten out of Ten!!!! - Absolutely fabulous! Casita A was so comfortable and welcoming and cozy. We loved the heated tile floors and the fireplace! Although we didn’t cook much, the kitchen had everything needed for a big meal in the way of utensils, pots and pans, spices, etc. We highly recommend Burch Casitas!
- mark (10/5): Terrific in Taos - One of the best lodging experiences we've ever had, both here and abroad! The proprietors (Jim and Nancy) were very friendly, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. The unit we stayed in (cabin B) was everything advertised by Hotel.com. It was spacious, clean, very quiet, well stocked, and within walking distance to the main Taos plaza. Probably the biggest bonus was the in suite washer and dryer, which after a week on the road was truly welcomed. We honestly rate this a 10 out of 10, and wonder why anyone staying in Taos would not do so here. Our 3 night stay was exceptional!
- Patty (10/5): - Absolutely darling casita and all the amenities needed to be able to cook if desired. One of the best places we have stayed in and would highly recommend it. Also within walking distance to the town and all restaurants.
- Ilene (10/5): - This is a wonderful property: close to the
Plaza, quiet, very well maintained and and appointed. We stay here when ever we visit Taos.
- Brian&Bekki (10/5): - Property was clean and well kept. Property was close to downtown plaza.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quaint and clean accommodations. Walking distance to Taos Plaza for great meals and shopping. Very nice backyard patio for morning coffee. Friendly and helpful hosts. I would definitely stay again!!!
- Patrick (10/5): Taos at Burch Street - Wonderful place obviously cared for by a couple who are truly invested in the place. Great location for exploring Taos and avery quiet neighborhood.
- Margaret (10/5): Cozy charm - The Casitas are delightful mini homes or bungalows that are artfully decorated, roomy, immaculate, and comfortable. Close to restaurants, galleries, shops in Taos. I would definitely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful, quiet, personal property. Lovely setting, everything you need!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great quiet location, easy walk to amazing food and art. Everything you need in a spacious, clean and beautiful casita. Full kitchen, comfortable bed, nice outdoor space for sipping wine and watching the sunset. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
- Randy&Cim (10/5): - This property is a gem. From the location to the casita it's a must stay. The owners are friendly & very accomodating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful place to stay! Very convenient to the square and the room was spacious, well equipped, and very homey! So much better than the “institutional” feeling of a hotel room. We will definitely return hopefully when we can enjoy the summer activities of Taos.
- Jessica (10/5): Won't be able to stay anywhere else now - Comfy. cozy, quiet. Wonderful experience all around. Thanks again

- Susan (10/5): - A wonderful place to stay! The casita is close to the center of Taos, but in a secluded and "leafy" area. It's spacious, beautiful, and very quiet, with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Jim and Nancy are super nice and have thought of everything. A home away from home!
- Keith (10/5): - Everything this place is 5 star. Ask me anything about this property, the owners, the quality and friendliness. I'll tell you five stars. Make this your first choice if your looking in Taos. You will be happy you did.
- Jim (10/5): Outstanding Hidden Gem in Taos - An absolute hidden gem. Beautiful and quite setting near but not too close to the square in Taos. Outstanding room with king bed, fireplace and fully stocked kitchen. Individual patios off the room. Washer and dryer provided as well. Safe off the street parking. Will definitely return to Burch Street Casitas. Jim and Nancy were very accommodating and possess excellent communication skills. Very polite and welcoming.
- LARRY (10/5): The best place in Taos - This is a wonderful place and no way could it be improved.
- Libby (10/5): - I loved the studio apartment style of the casitas, it made for a comfortable and cozy stay. With the great night's rest it made the quick walk into the plaza every morning very enjoy. They are located in a very convient spot. Overall you can't find a better deal for what you get.
- Anne (10/5): Burch St. Taos, NM - Lovely property, close to everything, quiet
- Elizabeth (10/5): Cozy accommodation, close to the plaza - From the time of arrival, the owners were very welcoming and friendly. They assisted with anything I needed and had great recommendations for food. The casitas were very clean and had every amenity including a kitchen and washer/dryer. At night you got the crisp mountain air and the bed felt you were sleeping on clouds. Best part is it's a 5 minute walk to the plaza. 10/10 would recommend staying here, this is the only place I'll stay in Taos from now on!
- Brandyl (10/5): - We loved that the property was pretty private and intimate in a way. We didn’t have loud neighbors and we really enjoyed that. The location was ideal for downtown shopping and really going anywhere. Our casita had everything you could want for a room. It kinda felt like home away from home!
- Verified traveler (10/5): CLEAN, QUIET& COMFORTABLE - Rarely do I arrive at a hotel or B&B and find what I had expected. This place is surely one one the few.
The Casita is like a studio with living space with a kitchen, nice futon, breakfast table, desk and a very comfortable bed. Don't know how they keep it so clean but they do. Above a 3 star chain but better value.
- CB (10/5): - The property is comfortable walking distance to the Taos plaza, galleries and restaurants. It is on a small property shaded by old trees, which keeps it cool in the summer, but also a little dark durning the day.
- Martha (10/5): Visitors From Albuquerque - We recently visited Taos for a short trip. The Burch Street Casitas were a wonderful find! The casita was very clean and the surrounding area was relaxing and quiet. Plus, they are within walking distance to the Taos Plaza. We very much recommend the Burch Street Casitas for visits to Taos.
- Bruce (10/5): Overnight stay for business and fun - Great little casita! Small living and dining area with full kitchen, washer and dryer. Bed was comfy.
Everything was clean. Just a few blocks to the Taos Plaza area. Owners on premise and very friendly.
We will stay here again!
- Tristin (10/5): We will be back - Great little place in Taos
- Joan (10/5): - Excellent value, clean, quiet and better than expected.Nancy is most gracious. What a nice find, we will be back.
- Christopher (10/5): Better than I could ever imagine! - Amazing place to stay. Close to the Plaza.
The room was incredible...looked brand new and was spotless. Very comfortable! We will stay nowhere else when in Taos!
- JY (10/5): Such a Clean and Relaxing Place! - My husband and I travel a lot, but very rarely we arrive at a hotel/Inn/B&B/AirBnB finding it above what we had expected. Burch Street Casitas surely is one of the very few! No photos can do it justice honestly. The casita we stay at is well decorated with local charms, but not overwhelming even for me as a huge fan of minimalist. Very well coordinated. The casita is like a studio with a living space with futon, a kitchen, a breakfast table, a desk, and a VERY comfortable king bed. I don't know how they manage to keep such a space so clean, but they do! Definitely above a chain 3-star hotel standard. Each casita also has its own patio, so that you can chill out there without being seen by your neighbors. It's about 10 minutes walk to the Plaza. Very pleasant walk in spring, but not sure how that would go in summer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stayed in Casita A which is spacious and very comfortable. Great night sleep with all the comforts of home.
- Sam (10/5): The Best Value and Comfort and Clean - These Casitas are very close to town with out being in the center of things. The building is well constructed providing a quiet spot. We understand the fire restrictions in this drought area of New Mexico, so we were asked not to burn, no problem. The beds mattress and pillows are top quality providing great sleep. Fast WIFI.
- John (10/5): Perfect, Great value ! - Clean, cozy, quiet, just perfect.
My casita was like home at an amazing price!!
Full kitchen giant living space king size bed and Great Taos southwestern feel.
I can’t wait to come back to Birch Street casitas, my favorite place to stay in Taos.
- Joleen T. (10/5): Relaxing weekend getaway - We will definitely stay here again! Beautiful casita, cozy, with everything you need and very clean. Full kitchen, washer, dryer, and fireplace. Easy walk to get around town. Peaceful surroundings. You must pay cash or check when you arrive, but check-in is easy and hassle free.
- Carrie (10/5): A Little Gem - Wonderful little gem in the perfect location. Best night sleep I have had out in a long time.Very clean with all the supplies we needed. The hosts are good people and easy to deal with.
- MICHAEL (4/5): Clean but overpriced - We found the property to be clean and well-kept, but overrated when it came to comfort and value. For the price, we expected a much nicer room. The walls were thin, allowing us to hear neighbors on both sides. The room was listed with a fireplace, but its use was not allowed even though it was below freezing outdoors. The low-budget foam pillows looked nice, but were hard and uncomfortable... certainly not appropriate for sleep. The neighborhood dogs barked late into the night. None of the typical amenities were provided other than a can of Folgers in the fridge and a bar of Ivory soap in the shower. We found nothing at Burch Street Casitas that would compel us to return or to recommend the property to anyone else.
- Justin (10/5): Burch Steet Casitas!!!!! - Booked one of their Casitas last minute. Just wanted a nice quiet spot to recharge. Nancy the hostess is most gracious and helpful with all things Taos. The Casita is spotless brand new. Really like decor and the bed was very comfortable. This is the spot io stay in Taos.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, Quiet and Comfortable - This is my favorite spot when I need a little R&R.
Always good to be here!
Thank you Nancy
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best stay & deal in Taos - These Casitas are perfect. Perfect location. Easy walk to plaza & restaurants. Everything you need for your holiday. Full kitchen, all the dishes & utensils, lots of room, king sized bed. Nice design & decor. Like brand new. Beautiful fireplace. Good storage. Nice full sized bathroom. In expensive Taos very, very reasonable. Like I said: Perfect!
