Guest Reviews
- David W. (4/5): Not satisfying * - The room was not clean dirt under bed ..lights not working .. not what we was expecting for price we paid.. faucet leaking.. we have pictures of dirt under bed .. had maintenance fix light bulbs..sorry only telling the truth... God bless yall if you think this was normal....*
- Sheletha S. (8/5): 3 Day Getaway! - Super easy reservation and check in process. Very efficient! We came to to beach to be out and about, the room was perfect for what we needed!! The only thing I would have preferred different would have been a bit larger refrigerator. Would definitely recommend!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very dated and very poorly kept common areas. Window shades were broken or missing. Light bulbs were burned out or did not work. Washer and dryer needs maintenance. Good location and loved that we had reserved chairs and umbrella.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not impressed - My mother and I rented a condo at surfside for a quick birthday trip. The room was tidy, however, there was a thick layer of dust on EVERYTHING made you feel like things were not very clean. The Condominium was okay, very run down. the pool area was not very impressive and VERY rundown. The best part of staying here was just not having to drag chairs back and forth from the beach everyday. We will not becoming back.
- Shelly (2/5): Contract vs being decent. They are not the latter - Booked and 2 hours later noticed the cleaning fee. I called the management company and they would not let me cancel with a refund.. turned out I had a change in plans and didn’t stay at all.. I asked if I can at least have the cleaning fee refunded and they refused. I can’t speak for the room but, the service was poor.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Surfside Resort was not what I paid for - Having to pay an additional $435 just to get my room assignment was not what I paid for. Also having no services; cleaning and maintenance, etc. in a room that Motel 6 would consider a fixer upper also was not what I paid for either. Either advertise the true price correctly or work with property owners to manage the expectations.
- Stacey (10/5): Excellent - Great place to stay. Convenient location. Walk across the street to the beach.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Took them a day to give us the reast bands for the pool. It was hot in the room. Their air condition didn't work well. The room was not well cleaned, towels had hair from other people, not well mopped. The room was outdated. One lamp didn't work, 2 broken chairs in the balcony. I really felt disappointed of this room i feel like i payed too much for what we went through.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was dirty, TV didn't work , master bed was broken and the owner wouldn't discount the first night stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The resort it’s self was great, but our room was dirty. A lot of dust, dirty pillows, trash under the bed, stuff splattered on the walls, the showers were kind of gross. The washing machine didn’t work and when we ran the dishwasher it smelled really bad. What is the cleaning fee for?
- zahra (2/5): Terrible -

To whom it may concern:
I am to inform you of my complete dissatisfaction with this property and lack of proper disclosure at the time of booking which in fact has cause us a great hardship during our vacation. Problems are as follows:
1- the room is located directly cross the gym and adjacent to the entrance to the tennis / basket ball court and rec area. The number of guest using that area is overwhelming and it was a constant traffic day and night specially kids bouncing balls in the hallway on the way in or outside of the court up to midnight.
2- room located directly cross from the parking garage and constant slamming of the doors and remote locking or unlocking the cars was a constant beeping into our ears day and night.
3- the construction of this building is very poorly done as there absolutely no insulation for sounds barrier we could hear every conversation clearly going through the hallways and also our next room neighbor which was very disturbing hearing every detail so clearly and our concern of them hearing our conversation so clearly. No privacy at all.
4- we have included some photo showing of how this impacted us. The sounds and constant traffic with activities all over with, Bouncing balls/ cars/ kids running it is unbelievably painful
- Verified traveler (2/5): Dirty water falling from ceiling - Upon arrival the condo smells, cigarette butts are all over the patio and one night into our stay we return to our room at midnight to the ceiling pouring water. Water was leaking throughout the whole kitchen and living room. Food was ruined, electronics were wet and there is no available front desk staff after a certain time. Security was called and even the security guard didn’t know what to to. We had to clean the mess up ourselves and wait for maintenance to figure out what the issue was. Count-Oakes Property management was not available to help, which is who we booked the room through. Hotels.com could have spat in our faces and it would have been better than the way we were treated. We were basically told to deal with it. To deal with dirty water leaking throughout our condo’s kitchen and living room. The next morning maintenance cleaned up our room after telling us they PEAKED INTO OUR ROOM all night long while we barely slept in those conditions. Talk about creepy.
Very unhappy with how this weekend turned out and the response I’ve received from Hotels.com and Count-Oakes Property Management. Would like a full refund for our stay as it was quite traumatic.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property was spacious, clean, well decorated, with a great view of the beach. I did not like the check-in process. There is not a lobby. A property manager has to be contacted and a meeting arranged. Cribs are available but you have to contact a 3rd party.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very good Location, had to meet mgmt to get packet to checkin, quite confusing, ther was no layout of Hi-Rise apts so difficult to find things, hot tub not working and room layout not very good
- Jessica (2/5): - The room looked like a college dorm room, smaller than a regular hotel room. There was no kitchenette or living area so I hardly call this a condo. Our tv went, they couldn’t fix it, brought another tv up and couldn’t get it to work then only discounted us $30 for the inconvenience. We will never stay there again nor will we recommend it to anyone.
- Kellye (2/5): Extreme hidden fees, don’t do it!! - When we get to the place they charged both rooms an additional $430 +\- for “resort” fees they say you don’t see in the fine print on hotels.com. We were out of time and nowhere to go so we stayed the one night. We were also told we would get up to $250 per room back and 3 week’s later we haven’t seen the money. When I call them they give me excuses. A complete ripoff!
- Amanda (2/5): - This is an older facility and not well kept. The elevators and hallways were HOT, everything felt a bit old & dirty. The condo itself was nicely furnished but the floors were dirty, there was mold in the shower & a drawer was broken in the kitchen. The staff was nice but charged an exhorbitant fee for an early check in when there wasn’t anyone there the night before. I will not stay here again.
- Candy (8/5): - Hotel was not right on the beach as the pictures showed. Condo was very clean and comfortable. Not very well equipped in the kitchen
- Josh (6/5): Standard hotel room, 5/10. - The room was clean and to a decent standard. The staff is friendly and helpful. The shower had terrible water pressure on the 15th floor and the bed was as hard as the floor. Be prepared to pay the extra taxes and resort fees upon arrival (outside of what is paid to hotels.com).
- Antwone (6/5): - Great location and views to beach, very spacious unit very outdated needs upgrades but outside of that for the price not bad at all
- Ana (6/5): Close to the beach but very outdated - So we walk to find out we didn’t have a stove. Maybe I didn’t read the reservation so it was okay. Then later we discovered the trash can was broken , the sink was clogged up and there was a big punch on the wall. I took pictures just in case I was not to blame. But I have yet not received my deposit. But overall it was a nice beach.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room was extremely dirty. We had to buy supplies at 10 pm just to clean out bathroom. The sheets were dirty and the room was run down and unkept.
When we contacted the front desk we were told to leave a message. We did that for a week and no one returned our calls. I would never stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Tons of space! - Tons of space, nicely decorated, family friendly!
We will be back!
- Karla (4/5): - We have stayed at Surfside on and off for the past 25 years and have always been happy with the accommodations. This year was the exception. The owner of unit #405 has not reinvested in the property and the unit needs to be renovated.
- Barbara (4/5): Read the fine print before booking - Location to the beach is awesome as well as the pool and the access. The unit we stayed at needs updates to light switches. Did not like the $100 cleaning fee. We stayed for 1 night and ended up costing too much the fees we paid Hotels.com plus the extra fees upon arrival, including a $250 deposit was too much for 1 night stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to beach but property is run down, very dated - No one at front desk for most of the day. No toilet paper....sorry must bring your own. Where is ice machine?...it’s in the maintenance/service area and requires quarters. Rooms are awkward layout as if a condo was divided into 3 units. Location is convenient to beach with direct access but otherwise a pretty run down facility. Bed had clean linens which was all we used the room for anyway.
- Michelle (8/5): - Spacious, close to the beach, two full bath, clean, kitchen
- Erika (2/5): Hidden fees! Don’t stay! - Hidden fees! Didn’t want to refund me I had to Pay $582 for one night! Never staying here again worst experience of my life!!
- Solene (8/5): - I was surprised with the sheets style but over all it was pretty clean , I noticed that this is an old building but it was clean. Also, being right across the street from the beach was pretty convenient. I would stay there again but will just come more prepared with coffee and stuff to make my morning more enjoyable like in a regular hotel instead of having to run out for it.
- Brian (6/5): Great location - Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beach was great. The shower was fantastic. We made our reservation for a King size bed but got two double beds that were not comfortable. When I asked the lady the next day at the front desk, she did not seem to care and placed the blame on the owners. She was more annoyed that we were interrupting her soccer match.
- Kevin (10/5): - Nice and clean with easy access to the beach.
- jennifer (4/5): - Seemed a little dated. Was told to put any used dishes in the dishwasher but there wasn't one. For the price was expecting more.
- Tiffany (2/5): Rude, inconsiderate - Check in staff was rude, furniture was broken and damaged in room and never fixed when told it would be. New ac unit broke. Room was hot whole week.
- SraTexas (2/5): Worse place ever - The condo was not clean. And ugly and old
the pay is to high the room doesnt match with the money.
They charge you for everything.
They dont give you toilet paper . You have to pay 2.00 for roll. Plus...... they charge you for cleaning ,trash etc and they want you to clean your. Room plus pay them
1-you have to clean before you leave because if you dont clean they dont give you the 250 deposit.
2-Trash . You have to take your trash out
3- you have to clean dishes and start the dishwasher or they dont give you your 250.
I go every year to Destin this is my first time in this place and i think is the last time because they charge you for everything and they dont do what they promesss.
- Lindsay (2/5): - The staff was rude. The communication was terrible. We had drove 12 hours through the night and they would not check us in not even one min early. They did not tell use what room. The number on the card said 30711. He told me floor 11. We were actually on floor 7. When we got to the room finally the keys did not work. Then we found out that what we paid on Expedia did not cover everything. We had to also pay a cleaning fee, more taxes and a deposit. We paid almost eight hundred dollars for one night. Oh and the air conditioner did not work at all!!! We told the front and they just said oh I’m sorry!!! I will never stay there again!!!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Great location, but disappointing accommodations. - Positives: Great location and fantastic water pressure.
Negatives: Old and outdated accommodations, no place to store luggage, and no place to get breakfast/coffee in the facility, as restaurant only opens for lunch and dinner. We would not come back and stay here.
- Jordan (4/5): Beach condo - I was disappointed to see that even though I had booked my room 8 months earlier, I was told the resort was booked up and a room on the first floor with a view of the parking lot was the best they could do. The room was full of sand on the floor, we were supplied with 1 roll of toilet paper for a 5 day stay with no towel service or even a cleaning person anywhere to ask for more toilet paper or towels. I would not recommend this resort and I will not stay here in the future.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good , very clean !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Steven (2/5): Avoid this place - At check in, an additional $200+ was required. $85 for "cleaning". Yet, we had to dispose of our own trash. We booked a king size bed. We were told because we used Expedia, they couldn't guarantee the room, as they only had 3 of those and they were already booked. Every conversation with the staff was then with excuses, as they know they are shady and know they are wrong. Those extra fees can be scheduled when you book the room, but no, they would rather wait until you are exhausted and don't want to fight it. And no early morning beach access, as the bridge doesn't open until after the sun rises.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - two Jacuzzi's, 5 ft pool, walk to beach
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Was quoted and charged for a king size bed accommodation but when I arrived it was a double actually ‘ smaller room than what picture showed! You might as well go through the actual resort bookings to get a guaranteed king and at a cheaper price.
- Janice (6/5): Surfside resort... filthy - The room was not clean when we checked in, the bathroom had hair all over it, the toilet was dirty, the tissue holder was tore up and on the floor. we could barely walk inside with our luggage, the entry way was so small. we could not sit on the balcony, the chairs were filthy. the sliding door racks at the bottom were so filthy it was pathetic. the small eating table in the room was so filthy, when I was trying to wipe it down when we were getting ready to eat, it had so much filth on it, it made me sick.when it was check out time, the front desk clerk was so rude and she was not apologetic at all. I even told her about spiders that were on the bed and she stated that there was nothing they could do about that. never again will I stay at Surfside in Destin.... never
- Jennifer (6/5): It was just ok - The fees they charge are crazy so make sure you read the small print before booking. They charge $150 cleaning fee and our room was very dusty. The restaurant was very good and friendly staff. The beach and location was great. I probably would not stay here again due to the fees.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dogs and bugs. - The bar had bugs in the liquor, the condo allow dogs in the pool. The room was horriable. The view was into a garage. Was a disappointing visit to the beach. I will not stay here again. When i tried to talk to the front desk she would not listen but cut me off and said talk to restaurant and talk to the associal manager about the dog in the pool area. Location was good, beach was clean and well kept. Condo needs a little improvements. Hard to sleep with car alarms going off at 4 am
- Diane (10/5): Great condo - Our stay in this condo was the tops, loved the room and the view was amazing. Would definitely go back if I could be guaranteed this same condo.
- Robert H. (2/5): The condo really needs attention. The guest bath has wallcovering coming loose. - The furniture is worn. The mattress in master bed is cheesy and slides off the bed. The mattress/beds in the guest bedroom were annoyingly noisy! There is barely a beach view. Also the glass top in dining room was not cleaned and we asked for staff to clean it. It never happened. We have stayed at Surfside many times in past years and this was the first time we were disappointed. We love the many sliding doors onto the patio! But sad we were not on ocean view as our friend had never been to the gulf!!
- Vincent (8/5): - Clean, good location, great beach just across the road. Restaurant insite a plus
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Overall, my stay was average. My room was poorly decorated with very outdated bedding. One of the blankets on the bed had 2004 written on the tag. I feel like hotels and condos should update their bedding every few years! The room was clean and had a great balcony and kitchen supplies. The beach bar and pool were amazing! I was a little disappointed with the service. The location is great. However, I feel like I spent too much money for what was being offered. This place for sure needs some updates and renovating! There were great views and the food was great though!
- Joe (6/5): High Rise Condominium near the beach - The building is well situated. Close to the beach with a private walkway over the street to the beach. Beach loungers are not included in the off season. Room was clean and all facilities worked well. Room was very small. Called a "lock out room" which adjoins a two or three bedroom condominium. Mattresses were old and too soft causing a stiff back in the morning. No daily cleaning or linens. Bring your own food, coffee etc. for the very small kitchenette. TV, fridge and microwave worked well. Wash dishes by hand in the vanity sink. Only one ice machine on first floor of a 16 story building. 25 cents for a bucket of ice. What a deal! Lot of senior snowbirds like this property compared to others. 10% owner occupied year round.
- karen (8/5): - I was completely taken back by the frees they charge. You book 2 nights at 89.00 each night and some how end with a cc bill for $359.00. Very deciving. Will never book there again. Room was also very cramped
- Verified traveler (8/5): Room with a boo - We booked a room with water view. This room, although pleasant in every other way, has a view of the parking garage and tennis courts.
The front desk called me twice on our way down and four times on Saturday to make sure all was okay..this was more than annoying..I'm on vacation and don't need extra calls from the Hotel. The room was great but due to Hotel front desk person...Justin? Jeremy? We will not return.
- Lakisha (10/5): - I loved it! Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to stay here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a great time. The condo was super nice and the location was perfect. There was a walk away for across the street. With a 6 and a 4 year old that was perfect. We will definitely be back!!
- H (6/5): Nice hotel, clean, ok fitness room - I reserved a room with 1 king bed. NOT what i got when i got there. Their reason? Because i reserved it through Expidia. Not sure if this was Expidia's or the hotel but, i was very disappointed, specially after driving 7 hours to get there. Even tried to change rooms after the first day but couldnt.
- Greg (6/5): Irma Evacuee - The location is great, right off the beach. The staff was very friendly, patient and helpful. I had a minor issue with one of my credit cards and they patiently waited for me to get it resolved. The only downside was I wanted to leave earlier in the morning but had to wait until the front desk opened at 7:00 am. I don't know if this was standard procedure or simply due to the storm. The resort itself was nice enough, the room was a bit cramped and the building was showing it's age, but all in all it was nice place to stay while Irma wrecked havoc on the east coast.
- Dianna (4/5): Bring your own Lysol! - Dirty, dirty, dirty!! Like, the $120 charge for a "cleaning fee" was completely dissed!! We checked in on a Monday, very late evening, and had to request cleaning service just to be able to take our shoes off~that bad! The place is wired with extension cords, clearly an older structure that didn't require many outlets. Oh, and make sure to bring your own toilet paper along with your Lysol because otherwise it'll be a "convenient store run" for you...
Do not let the balcony pictures fool you, the view is NOTHING past the pool and street crossing.
The "complimentary" beach chairs and umbrella are first-come-first-serve, so do wait to long if you want to use that set-up.
- Tanner (10/5): Overall, one of the best in Destin - Very nice room, nice accommodations, loved the beach bar and poolside bars. No complaints besides the silverware in the room had several black hairs draped across them....didn't eat in the room anyways, but still.
- Judith (6/5): Okay unit, great location! - The condo was a bit dated (the doors to the closet were broken, and just overall dated looking. The location was great and well worth it. When we arrived the unit was open. The door didn't latch unless we pulled hard.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The condo was awesome. Everyone had a good time. Plenty of things to do.
My only dissatisfaction is with Expedia themselves for not disclosing a $500 registration fee. Which would have been detrimental if I would not have called Surfside myself
- Katrina (8/5): Room Review - The room was very nice. The location was very convenient and easily accessible to eating and shopping. The room was updated with lots of amenities.
- TT (4/5): Close to beach but very dated place. - Close to beach but very dated place. Love the cross bridge and the bar with seats look out to the beach. Elevators are slow and stairs were slippery and dirty.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My family decided to take a vacation in Destin and were extremely pleased with the facility. The 2 bdrm condo was appointed as advertised and perfectly situated for my family. Having laundry facility in the room with a baby was excellent as well.
We didn't spend much time at the pool but it was a nice reprieve from the beach.
Both the beach and pool bar's were handy too...a tad light on some pours but staff was friendly.
Having the chairs and umbrellas on the beach were also nice. Didn't have to lug all that stuff down.
A broom for sweeping would have been a plus as the vacuum cleaner just didn't quite do the job. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice condo close to the beach - Pros: close to beach, plenty of room, all amenities we needed.
Cons: hotel staff wasn't very friendly, condo was hot and owner would not allow thermostat to go below 72. Didn't sleep very well with it being so warm.
- Michelle (8/5): Our stay at the beach - We loved the location and the view. My only issue was that I booked a king bed and we got a room with two full beds and when we booked on hotel.com - the required deposit and extra cleaning fee and resort fees were not disclosed until after you had booked - so was suprised by how much the extra charges were. Condo unit was a little dated and small but overall a good place to stay-- access to the beach and pool were awesome!
- Verified traveler (6/5): BOOK WITH CAUTION - Was under the impression when booking that we had a ocean front room, but it wasn't. We crammed into a very small room, no linen exchange (so we had to do our own laundry on vacation), no housekeeping, as it was listed as a condo. The owner of the condo would be very wise to invest in a broom for the room so the next guest don't have to walk on gritty sandy floor or sleep with sand in their beds like we did. Also, the room was located in front of the tennis court, and the lights shined into the room all night making it difficult to sleep. The facility did offer a heated pool, hot tub & private beach access that was very nice. Hotel itself was welcoming but room 212-A was not up to our standard, and not as described on hotels.com. Unsure if that's the owners fault for a bad description, or if hotels.com just went by information for other rooms they list on their site, but we were definitely mislead on this description.
- Gillian (4/5): Total Disappointment - We booked this place 2 months before our SB week. 15 days before our stay, we received a phone call from an employee of Counts Oaks Resort Properties to collect a house keeping fee, registration fee and security deposit (which they are supposed to refund). After that call, they sent an e-mail confirming the payment of the money and specifying the Unit # where we were going to stay, #1612A. When we got there and did our Check in, the unit # was not the same, now #212A, which it was now located in the second floor of the building and towards the back. No view at all. We asked the front desk lady why we were not having the unit# they sent in the e-mail. First, she said: "we have no idea what Expedia has promised you but this is what we have for you, and you have paid for". When I said the e-mail was sent by one of their employees, not Expedia, she didn't even know what to say, and kept trying to tell different excuses because at that point the Unit #1612A was given to another guest. We talked to the Manager, Diana Brambley, who was not friendly at all, unilaterally she changed the unit. She said: "in their policies they reserve the right of doing so", policies we never received, even in their confirmation e-mail. Finally, she offered us a Unit with view but paying extra money, we felt tricked. At 7pm and after driving 6 hrs we decided to not fight anymore and stay in the #212A. Terrible decision, the Unit was in poor condition, see pictures. No kitchenette, iron, or hairdryer
- Verified traveler (4/5): Terrible customer service - I arrived very early unexpectedly. I hadn't slept in 24 hours. The guest that was in my room didn't check out until close to 10. One lady at the front desk said I could check in as soon as the room was clean. Shift changed and there was another lady. She was aware that I was already there and had my number to call. It was 11:00 and I went to check to see if the room was clean. I went back at 1:00 and the room was still not clean. Then she became hateful and said check in wasn't until 4pm and the cleaning crew had until 4 to get my room cleaned. I thought...if she cared about her customers she would have made an effort to let the cleaning crew know that I had been there since 4am and was waiting for the room to be cleaned to check in. She didn't care. Then when I finally got checked in after 2 pm there was hair all over the floor, rugs and even the bed. There was urine and hair all over the toilet. They gave you one roll of toilet paper for the week. The decor is very outdated. I was very unsatisfied and will not return.
- James (4/5): Disappointing - Room was tiny and we got two towels for both days. Charged extra for daily cleaning but there was no cleaning before we left. Hot tub was shut off because we we told spring breakers might abouse it.
- Michelle (4/5): Read the fine print...know what you're purchasing. - We were disappointed with the hotel, err..."condo." They call their rooms condos b/c they are individually owned, do not include daily cleaning services and you take out your own trash. We booked a king room with a view. We got a double room with a view of the bay not the ocean. Still, it was a view. The beds in our room had spring mattresses that were lumpy and worn from many years of use. We inquired at check-in if a room with an ocean-view was available and we were told that, for an undisclosed amount, we could upgrade but once we did, we would be locked into the change and could not undo it. Due to the exorbitant cost, we chose not to upgrade. We were told that in the future we should book directly with the facility and not through a third party, such as Expedia, if we wanted rooms "at the front of the house." We were told directly by a staff member that all rooms booked through third parties were always "at the back of the house." Additionally, the carpet looked as though it had not been cleaned in many years. The dresser in the room was made of wicker and bore a horrible smell that rendered it useless for storing clothes.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Weekend Adventure - Our stay was amazing. The gulf was like an icy blue diamond. Our accommodations were perfect. No complaints...will definitely return!
- joseph (10/5): really nice - loved it
- Verified traveler (4/5): Nice hotel close to the beach - We faced several repairs that needed to be fixed when we checked in. The hotel was good about sending maintenance in to fix the repairs. Two bottom drawers had broken rods to where the drawers would not pull in or out. The closet rod was pulled out of the wall and was about to fall. The shower soap holder fell off the wall and took several tiles with it when it fell into the tub. Maintenance came the next day and put duck tape around the tiles to cover up the hole so that we could take showers. The return air vent had dust about an inch deep sitting on the louvers. The freezer in the fridge was so frosted over that you could not pull out the ice trays, they were frozen in.
- Disappointed (4/5): Beachside vacation - Late arrival on a Friday night in January, expected no problem since property advertises 24 hour lobby desk. Wrong. Arrived around 11:30pm to find the lobby locked. There was a hotline phone to security guard. Security guard tried to help but did not have access to our late arrival info. She tried calling the "on-call" person but no answer. Finally after about an hour of this, a person was located who wouldn't give us access until we paid a $90 cleaning fee (even though our hotel was prepaid for 5 nights). Finally we were given a code to lock box, entered the room and were amazed to find it was a tiny box with a king size bed - my wife and I could not move around. When viewed on line on expedia, the rooms appeared to be spacious. They call this tiny room a "studio suite" - I think because they were able to cleverly install an angled sink and mini-fridge into the narrow entry way. Bathroom also tiny, open the mini-closet and a broom and mop fell on us, with pillows & extra blanket, no room to hang anything. Oh and the toilet was broken and closet door was off track. Next morning expressed our disappointment, was told even though there were larger multi-room units available and we were willing to pay for upgrade, they couldn't help us since we booked through expedia. Called expedia, expedia tried to help but front desk told expedia that they couldn't do anything. Very frustrating and a total lack of customer orientation. Plenty of better alternatives - stay somewhere else!
- Kristin (6/5): Disappointed - There were extra charges "fine print" when I checked in. Strike one.
With every shower we took, the water went from burning hot to cold back and forth the entire time. It was miserable. Strike 2
