The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The breakfast was great too. Can't fault it. Nothing. It completely exceeded my expectations. It's a good twenty minute walk from downtown Pattaya so if you want to be in the busy area (which I didn't) then maybe this is not for you but otherwise then book it!

It’s very nice designed, clean rooms and great pool with a lot of green vegetables surrounding. I can really recommend this you can call a boutique hotel with great service and a breakfast that is ok with good coffee. If I return to Pattaya I will stay here absolutely. Nothing I can complain about!!!

From the moment I arrived, the facility's charm and well-maintained grounds created an inviting atmosphere that felt both private and welcoming. The location is ideal—perfectly situated to offer a peaceful retreat while remaining conveniently close to the local highlights. It is rare to find a property that balances such a serene environment with such seamless accessibility. The true heart of this resort, however, is the exceptional team and the level of service they provide. The staff is consistently attentive and professional, but the owner, Jim, truly defines what it means to go above and beyond for guests. After I realized I had left a watch behind in my room, Jim took it upon himself to ensure it was returned to me safely. That kind of integrity and genuine care is hard to find and speaks volumes about the resort's commitment to its guests. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for anyone seeking a top-tier experience.
- michal (10/5): - Chyba największym Plusem jest wspaniały Basen. Duży, dość głęboki oraz z jacuzzi. W około dużo zieleni. Leżąc na leżaku przy basenie jest naprawdę miło i przyjemnie. Dużym plusem jest również lokalizacja. Dwie minuty spacerem od głównej drogi, ale nie słychać nic ruchu ulicznego. W ośrodku panuje cisza i spokój. Podczas naszego pobytu na początku marca 2026 roku woda w basenie miała 32 stopni więc idealna do kąpieli. Pokoje bardzo czyste. W każdym pokoju jest sejf, czajnik, lodówka oraz mikrofala. Do chwili obecnej był to najlepszy hotel w jakim się zatrzymaliśmy - Chyba właśnie ze względu na wspaniały basen. Stosunek jakości do ceny jest po prostu rewelacyjny Jeżeli już do czegokolwiek miałbym się przyczepić, o co naprawdę trudno, to dość ubogie śniadania.

The breakfast menu was ample with an option of having it served in the cafe, your room or at the poolside. The location is close to one of the best Pattaya restaurants Cafe des Amis. Proverbial smoker on the terrace next door which made sitting for breakfast on the room terrace, quite unoleasant and wafted into the bedroom.

- Luc (9/5): TOP service met prima verhouding prijs/kwaliteit - Bij aankomst bleek de geboekte kamer niet beschikbaar. We kregen een update naar een appartement met 1 slaapkamer. Dit lag echter aan de straat. Heel veel lawaai en ‘‘s morgens vroeg begonnen de werken aan het gebouw er rechtover. Niet te doen voor een goede nachtrust. Andere kamer gevraagd en binnen het uur een kamer gekregen aan de achterzijde van het gebouw. Super. Niks meer van lawaai ‘‘s nachts. TOP service van het hotel. Ligt iets uit het centrum maar geen probleem voor ons. Een goede 2 km te voet is best te doen. Zoniet, vervoer via Bolt. Ontbijt is eerder eenvoudig maar was voor ons voldoende.

Das Resort ist klein, sehr gepflegt und unglaublich gemütlich – ein perfekter Ort, um sich zu entspannen und abzuschalten. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, komfortabel und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier großer Wert auf Sauberkeit und Wohlfühlatmosphäre gelegt wird. Die gesamte Anlage wirkt ruhig, einladend und bestens gepflegt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des gesamten Personals. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an herzlich willkommen und hervorragend betreut. Auch die Lage ist ideal: Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, und man kann in nur wenigen Minuten alle wichtigen Punkte im Zentrum bequem erreichen. Trotzdem ist es im Resort selbst angenehm ruhig. Der Service war in jeder Hinsicht ausgezeichnet und hat meinen Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohlgefühlt und werde bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Pattaya ganz sicher wieder hier übernachten. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für die tolle Zeit!

Need to take taxi or Bolt to go into Central - 80 to 100 bht.

The reception was very personal — we were greeted by name and the staff already knew who we were, which made a big difference. Our entire stay was extremely pleasant and well taken care of. The hotel is cozy, quiet, and very relaxing. The rooms are excellent, the service is outstanding, and the staff is genuinely kind and attentive. Breakfast is à la carte but more than sufficient and very good. The swimming pool is beautiful and offers great relaxation. A hotel that truly values its guests and makes you feel seen and remembered. We would absolutely recommend this place and would happily return.

- Christian (10/5): Fantastischer Aufenthalt in Pattaya. Es hat rundum alles gepasst! - Ich liebe das Baan Souy Resort in Pattaya. Die Lage zwischen Jomtien und Pattaya ist perfekt. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit ist man am Strand in Pattaya, im Jomtien Complex oder in der Walking Street von Pattaya. Das Frühstück ist super. Man wählt zwischen westlichem Frühstück (English or American Breakfast) oder Thai Frühstück (Fried Rice mit Poulet oder Pork) Der Pool ist fantastisch. Genug Tief und genug gross um ein paar Runden zu schwimmen oder sich mit den vorhanden Schwimmmatratzen einfach im Wasser treiben zu lassen. Mein Zimmer 203 im ersten Stock war sehr gross und hatte eine Sitzecke, genug Stauraum für die Kleider und eine kleine Küche mit Teekocher und grossem Kühlschrank. Sie können auch das Frühstück oder das Mittagessen in Ihrem Zimmer oder am Pool einnehmen. Das Bett fand ich anfangs sehr hart aber schon ab der 2. Nacht habe ich fantastisch geschlafen! Die Poolliegematten könnten sauberer sein und müssten sicher am Morgen jeweils gut gereinigt werden.

Wat ik best wel confronterend vond. We kwamen erachter dat dit resort gayvriendelijk te boek staat. Wat ik in geen enkele review heb gelezen. Anders had ik dit nooit geboekt. Ook wordt er nog steeds naast het resort gebouwd wat toch wel overlast geeft qua geluid.

Met de taxibus ben je voor 10 bath per persoon heel snel op Jomtien beach of in het Jomtien Complex. Aan de overkant van de weg is een nightmarket (10 minuten lopen) waar je heerlijk kunt eten. - Patrik (10/5): Peacufull oasis - I stayed at Baan Souy Resort for 8 days in December and traveled solo. The hotel truly feels like a peaceful oasis in the middle of busy Pattaya — calm, relaxed, and very welcoming. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a nice sofa, and a large bathroom. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. I also used the airport transfer service, which worked perfectly and without any issues. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, with a choice of American or continental options — simple but good and reliable. The location is great as well. The city center is about a 15–20 minute walk, or very quick by Grab or Bolt. A motorbike is definitely the fastest option given the traffic. There’s also a 7-Eleven just about 5 minutes away on foot. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I can highly recommend this hotel, and it definitely won’t be my last visit I have nothing to complain about, all was totally OK.

Un établissement comme on aimerait en rencontrer plus souvent, soucieux du détail, alliant décoration de bon goût, confort, tranquillité, piscine très grande avec beaucoup de plantes environnantes et bien entretenues, une eau très claire, preuve d'un excellent entretien. Le personnel est agréable et bienveillant, le petit déjeuner excellent, comme le déjeuner également. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés cet hôtel de charme, cosy où il fait bon de faire une halte, surtout si elle doit être prolongée. Une pensée particulière au Manager général JIM, qui a eu une attention délicate à notre égard que nous avons sincèrement appréciée. Merci à toute l'équipe du Baan Souy. Je cherche, mais j'ai de la difficulté à trouver.

A big shout-out to Chang, the resident hero, who will assist you with everything from check-in to meals and so much more. Kudos also to Jim who makes sure to check up on things and greet everyone as he takes care of the place. On this trip, decided to have lunch in-house. Very delicious, and I so much thank the kitchen chefs. The women are always smiling and so humble. The two gentlemen waiters also were always on hand to look after guests at breakfast time. It's not just the furnishings you have but the space between them, and this hotel excels in that. I'm almost reluctant to write this because I want to keep it a secret! But praise where praise is due, thank you Jim for a lovely stay. Perhaps ask guests not to play their phone videos at full volume in the breakfast room. One guy did that every day. Not the hotel's fault obviously.
